he Sunday Gospel for this 33rd Sunday in ordinary time (Mk 13:24-32) talks about an eschatological truth (Eschatology is the study of the last things) that the last days of existence shall come, and Jesus’ words describing that day that, “the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken (Mk13:24-25),” seems to be horrifying! But the next line though is an assured consolation for us believers when He continued, “At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens (Mk 13: 26-27).” who are baptized since we have been gifted Every Christian yearns to be united with Grace—the life which we share with with God someday, in fact that should be God. Though we have been given the chance the philosophy of every Christian: to spend to enjoy our earthly life—a physical life, our life here on earth which should be enjoying that life entails that as Christians worthy of uniting with God we need to prepare for physical death as someday. All Christians wish to go well, because it is only through to heaven but when they are asked SUNDAY if they want to die, their answer is REFLECTION this kind of death that we can enter into eternal life—a life negative. We know that certainly united with God in the bliss of heaven. we will die someday but what we Jesus Himself said: “But about that day are not certain of is what will happen to us or hour no one knows, not even the angels after death. “Ano an ginibo mo?” Hapot liwat ni Pilato ki Jesus.
