hysical food works in us even when we don't think about it, even when we sleep it turns into flesh, blood, vital energy. Spiritual food is different: it is effective if we collaborate with Christ, who wants to transform our life into his. In the Gospel, Jesus asks his disciples to feed the crowd. He could have done it easily by himself but he wanted their participation. But the Eucharist tells life", a proposal of love that involves my us otherwise. Jesus, in the most difficult whole life: it must make me available to love moment of his life, makes a definitive gesture: he gives himself, does not offer bread my neighbour, to the point of giving my life for others according to the example that and wine, like Melchizedek, but his own life Jesus left us. It is not the bread absolute love, is celebrated and repeated that becomes Christ, but Christ who becomes bread, in order to be assimilated, to every time a community of believers gathers together with a priest. ho is your God? For Catholics, this question seems to be a very simple question but many would have correct but incomplete answers. Answers like: my God is my saviour; my God is my creator; my God is my friend; my God is my father and protector; are correct answers, but these answers are imperfect. The most complete answer should be: “My God is the One God who is three equal and distinct persons” (cf. CFC 1326). We call our God as the “Blessed Trinity”.
