Writer/director/artist John Waters, comedian/podcaster Cameron Esposito, and filmmaker/musician Boots Riley headline this year’s Free State Festival, a weeklong celebration of film, music, art and ideas slated for June 22-28. In support of 50/50 by 2020, a national movement to increase the representation of women’s voices in the film industry, this year’s program will shine a spotlight on female representation on the big screen. Visit www.freestatefestival.org for tickets, passes, and a complete schedule event in spring 2020. THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS
