BUSINESS NEWS Strictly Business Launches #StrictlyStaycation Contest to Support Local Hospitality Industry

New Private Luxury Car Condo Complex, Victory Lane Opens in Omaha

Strictly Business is encouraging locals to participate in their newly launched #StrictlyStaycation contest. The goal of the contest is to support the hospitality, dining, and retail industries in Omaha and Lincoln. With already a handful of hotels donating free overnight stays for the weekly drawings, this is a great opportunity to have some fun with family and friends while strengthening the community back up after taking a major hit from COVID. To enter, you must book a room at a hotel in Omaha or Lincoln and make a purchase at one nearby restaurant or shop. Take photos from your experience and post them on any social media platform with the hashtag #StrictlyStaycation. Everyone who participates will be entered into the drawings. In addition, there will be four main categories: Girls’ Night Out, Guys’ Getaway, Family Outing, and Couples’ Retreat (must book at least 3 rooms). The winning group of each category will get included in a fun special full-page feature in Strictly Business with a photo and write-up! For those who are not on social media, feel free to call (402) 466-3330 or email editor@strictlybusinessomaha.com with your entry. More information can be found on page 37 or online at strictlybusinessomaha.com.

Victory Lane Omaha, a private luxury car condo complex, has officially opened off of 204th Street and West Center Road. Partners/Owners Scott Rouse, Bill Peel, Robert Foster, and Mike Welniak are excited to bring this unique concept to Omaha. The purpose of Victory Lane is to give collectors a safe and secure space to store his or her investment and socialize with like-minded auto enthusiasts. The complex is also designed for car shows, fundraisers, and other special events. Construction began in March 2019 with Welniak, owner of S&W Fence Inc., serving as project manager. Ironhide Construction was selected as the builder. Victory Lane Omaha features about 50 basic units. There are three floor plans, ranging from 850 to 1,190 square feet. The smallest base unit can accommodate up to four vehicles; the largest, six to eight. The Omaha Bakery Opens Second Retail Location in Elkhorn Area of West Omaha The Omaha Bakery’s successful venture into the ketogenic world has led to the opening of a second store in west Omaha’s Elkhorn area, near 210 Street and Cumberland Drive. Carrying its explosively popular keto line and classic favorites, the new 2,500-square-foot bakery began serving customers on October 5. This expansion also allows The Omaha Bakery to more readily deliver to Lincoln sites. “Keto bakery products and keto meals have absolutely continued to soar since we introduced our keto line two years ago at our first Omaha Bakery store just north of the Nebraska Furniture Mart,” said The Omaha Bakery owner Michelle Kaiser, who moved a seven-yearold business from Fremont, Nebraska, to central Omaha in 2016, which later led to a major expansion of her building space there. After experiencing the life-changing results of going on a keto diet in 2018, Kaiser developed a 45-product keto line whose distribution first spread regionally and now nationally. Kaiser took her idea about the second location to marketing entrepreneur and president of 316 Strategy Group Joe Kenney, who quickly did his homework and supported the idea, then helped her work out details in the summer and put all of the pieces together quickly. The Elkhorn-area store will be the point of dispatch for Omaha Bakery deliveries to its successful drop-off site 48 miles away in Lincoln’s Haymarket that began in summer 2020. Deliveries to Lincoln are made to Breezy Island Ice, 350 Canopy St., STE 120D on Fridays, and orders should be placed at least two days in advance. The Omaha Bakery is a full-service bakery and tasting experience for every day and every occasion.
