My recent work has involved drawing painting, printing and sewing in direct response to the landscape of Miami and the Cotswolds. I layer, superimpose and repeat details from studies of shimmering water and marine life, fish, shells flowers, etc. within structures that echo both Eastern carpet design and formal grid of the city. I regard these ‘landmarks’, natural and man-made, as equally transient.”
