CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY IN PLASTIC RECYCLING WITH LASER DISC FILTER In many countries of the world, waste plastics are recycled and turned into an economic investment in the long term. Industrial or post-consumer plastic wastes are extruded after a number of purification stations and subjected to filtration process and made into recyclable raw materials. The laser disc filter developed by Altech company under the brand name Microfilt performs the perfect filtration operation without the need for any operator requirements, and the filtration process is carried out in the molten polymer. The filtration operation is performed thanks to technology marvel laser disc filter system through hundreds of thousands of micro holes on the filter screen surface, providing excellent cleaning and offering an attractive form. Unrequested foreign particles such as paper, rubber, wood, non-molten plastic, etc. present in waste plastics are automatically removed by melt plastic by stripping and filtering with the technology developed by Altech company. HERBOLD HOT WASHING SYSTEMS HIGH QUALITY PLASTIC RECYCLING SOLUTIONS The secret of high capacity and high quality plastic recycling Thanks to Herbold Hot Washing systems, reliable, high capacity and quality plastic recycling is possible. Plastics are seen as irreplaceable and indispensable products in many areas of daily life. The first question that comes to mind is whether plastic materials with such common uses can be re-evaluated after their use? Consumers, manufacturers and politicians agree on recycling. The global economy is highly motivated in this regard. The old solutions presented for the disposal of plastics after their first use - sending to the landfill, burning or exporting to distant and underdeveloped countries - are now outdated and outdated practices. Recycled plastics are now described as underground wealth, as well as underground wealth of oil and mines. As the demand for recycled plastics increases, so do the quality demands in parallel. In order for recycling to be used in as many sectors as possible, it is necessary to determine the quantity and quality features completely. The needs and demands of all these industry sectors are generally very similar; because they want to produce in a

sustainable way to strengthen their image. They want reliable replenishment of usable recyclable materials of the highest standardized standard for this reason. As a solution to the more demanding requirements coming from the industry, Herbold contributes to the existing systems by adding customer-specific process steps in addition to the latest technology facilities and machinery equipment. This ensures that both the amount and cleanliness of recycled plastics are efficiently increased. Hot washing process as a practical complement to existing washing technology Hot washing is an important process step to increase the quality. Herbold has successfully overcome the challenges of integrating the hot washing process step used in the recycling of PET bottles into other areas of the plastic recycling process and producing large amounts of high recycling quality. Initially, hot washing was preferred in the sense of pre-washing of highly used PET bottles. Over time, however, the hot washing procedure has also been used for other products such as thermoforming foils, trays and foils used in the packaging industry, and even for polyolefin-derived foils. Herbold's hot washing process provides excellent cleaning results with optimum temperatures, an appropriate waiting time and optimum use of additives.
The most obvious advantages of hot washing The final result of the cleaned burrs already manifests itself and leaves no need for words: For example, oil impurities of body lotion, cooking oil, or sunscreen remnants from labels and dissolved in water, such as residues from adhesives, and removed by washing. These clean burr materials have no odor, a clear appearance and jaundice are gone. The picture below shows how clean the material can be after the process with the melt filter in the extrusion system. While the industry standard is accepted
as 80 - 110 µm (micrometer) for filtering foreign particles in the melting filtration process, hot washed burr material reaches below 40 µm level. The source of the material to be recycled - residues separated from normal domestic waste - is no longer detectable due to the level of cleaning achieved as a result of the process. Optimum process integration and unique know-how combination Different types of waste offer different preparation stages. When quality is the primary focus, Herbold customers prefer the integration of the hot wash system into the entire process, as recommended, within the closed wash system cycle. This is because the material to be recycled has more controllable residence time, which is very important in separate tanks with agitators. In this context, if more than one tank is used, the process step becomes more or less continuous and can be integrated into continuously running machines. Other parameters at a glance In PET recycling, developments in the recycling industry and, consequently, the production of food-safe materials for large-scale (large quantities) industrial recycled materials, preforms or thermoformed foils produced as a result of hot washing system integration. Herbold also closely monitors other developments to improve quality in plastic recycling. In addition to the optimum integration of hot washing systems, Herbold also offers solutions to reduce water treatment and operating costs. Herbold sees itself as part of the chain of process steps to optimize plastic recycling. Working with expert manufacturers for upstream and downstream process steps plays a leading role in improving quality.

Why is Advertising Important to Your Company? In the broad sense, the goods in question are something that can satisfy a need and desire and can be subject to change. Goods can be a physical object or a service or a thought. Advertising in Production The physical production of goods is not a marketing action or a direct subject of advertising. However, an advertiser or an art director can play an important role in the design and shaping of goods suitable for the needs and desires of consumers, in visual design, especially under the conditions required by our age. A designer also performs an important task in designing and developing propertyrelated services such as packaging, logo, corporate identity of various items that determine the physical properties of a good. Why Advertising? Advertising takes place in one of the elements of marketing. Why is advertising

important to us? Why does an institution or business have to advertise? As the famous marketing guru Philip Kotler said, if a business fulfills all the behaviors that the marketing theory envisages, it may not need advertising. For example, if consumer needs and consumer trends were identified, product design was made accordingly, and the product was delivered to buyers at an affordable price, using appropriate distribution channels, it would be argued that there would be no need for advertising theoretically. Theoretically, even if everything seems good, it never really is. Even in the past and today, there is no product that can sell on its own without dealing with advertising. For this reason, advertising should never be considered as a purpose, but as a tool used to increase sales with the visible face of an institution. Advertising Cost Of course, the most effective situation of the advertising issue is the cost. In this context, there is always a question mark in the
minds whether institutionsʼ thoughts for advertisement are actually a cost or an investment that increases profitability. These pondering and never-going question marks require a deep examination and require good analysis. Of course, if the advertisement is seen as a cost, a cost table should be prepared accordingly. Considering the conditions required by our age, advertisement should be seen as an investment in todayʼs competitive environment and it should be taken into consideration that it will benefit the institution. If advertisement will bring benefit and its cost will be covered, it will be a very important issue for advertisement management for this institution. Advertising expenditures It would be appropriate to consider the advertisement, which will increase the future sales of the business or increase the prestige, as an investment that will provide more recycling to the business.

Packaging Support to Strawberry Producers Thanks to the packages designed and produced by Elazığ TSO for Elazığʼs unique Kuyulu and Gezin strawberries, the product will now go from the field to the customer untouched. Harvest started in organic ‘Kuyulu and Gezinʼ strawberries, which are famous for their taste and smell unique to Elazig. Along with the harvest, the producers also wrapped a sweet excitement. For the production of strawberries, which are also the door of bread for seasonal workers, producers began to be supported. In this context, 25 thousand strawberry packaging boxes specially designed for the producers by the Elazığ Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in Gezin and Kuyulu, Elazığ TSO Chairman Asilhan Arslan, Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Manager Turan Karahan, Elazığ TSO Board Members and Assembly Members, It was distributed. Engineering Overview From Aypak Makina With The Second Generation What kind of a process did Aypak Makina go through in 1997 to reach its current position? What adventure lies behind this success? Aypak Makina was founded in 1997 by our General Manager Ali Apaydın. We have been producing various packaging and filling machines since its establishment. Our adventure started when we first noticed the gap in the packaging industry. We started our activities with the production of horizontal wet wipes and powder filling machines. Over time, we managed to increase our product range with vertical type filling machines and flexo printing machines in line with market demands. We have been continuing our work for 22 years with the understanding of quality production and care. We continue our way, without sacrificing our values, by prioritizing the satisfaction of our employees and customers. As the second generation, what kind of activities do you plan to engage in Aypak Makina? Aypak Makina is a family company as well as institutional. We are very happy to contribute and develop Aypak Makina, which our father Ali Apaydın founded and brought to these days with great effort. We can say that we have been in the sector since our childhood. We operate in a sector that is very open to innovations. After graduating from mechanical engineering in 2015, I started to work actively in the company. Our growth targets have increased as the engineering perspective also plays a role in management. This year my brother Cemre Apaydın graduated from Control and Automation Engineering. We both take an active role in both management and R&D staff. In this way, we aim to carry Aypak Makina further by following the innovations in the sector. Can you give information about your production areas and product groups? Aypak Makina has been open to innovations for 22 years since its establishment. We manufacture packaging machines for

Aypak Makina comes into prominence with the services we offer to our customers regardless of domestic or abroad. We stand by our customers with our installation, training and spare part supports we provide free of charge during the warranty period of our machines. Together with the development of technology, experienced technical problems with our machines when problems abroad can find a solution to the machine via a remote connection from Turkey. In this way, we prioritize satisfaction for our customers abroad. What are the privileges you offer your customers in purchases? One of the services we offer to our customers
is to be able to carry out trial productions of our new products in our contract department. In addition, we offer our customers the opportunity to closely monitor and observe the showroom area and production in our packaging department. In this way, we offer our customers the opportunity to see the product that will be produced in our machines as a prototype before starting mass production. We support those who want to make a new venture in our packaging department before purchasing machinery. HOW WILL COVID-19 AFFECT THE FUTURE OF CLIMATE THE OUTBREAK? Covid-19 Epidemic Process and Afterwards HVAC Installation, Air Conditioning Devices and Energy Change Predictions. The Covid-19 epidemic had important effects on our industry as well as in all areas of life. Both the direct effects of the epidemic and the measures taken in order to combat the epidemic revealed the need to rethink the living areas we built as well as our health and hygiene. This situation caused the measures to be taken especially in air conditioning systems and HVAC installations to gain great importance. In order to better understand the effects of the outbreak and what needs to be done against them, a lot of information was shared in various media. First of all, the features of the virus were determined and the recommendations of many people, institutions, scientists and industry members were quickly presented to the information of our sector, both in broadcast organs and via webinar and online posts. Based on all this information sharing, if we summarize the common opinions and recommendations; • Covid-19 virus remains active for up to 3 hours in common indoor conditions, if there is no special cleaning in indoor air, and for 2-3 days on room surfaces. The most likely cause of infection of the virus depends on droplet contamination and droplet delivery of the air flow direction in the media. Therefore, to prevent the spread of the virus, increasing the physical distance between people and improving the ventilation system, avoiding crowded and poorly ventilated areas, • To provide more window ventilation in buildings without mechanical ventilation system, keeping windows open in other areas to provide cross flow throughout the building if there is not enough exhaust ventilation from the toilets, • Use of indoor air conditioners, air con-

ditioners or air handling units, air curtains, VRV, split air conditioners and fancoils that circulate the indoor air poses a risk for the spread of Covid-19 virus, especially when the rooms are normally used by more than one person. not used during the epidemic, • Since the Covid-19 virus can be transported over long distances with ventilation systems in mechanical ventilated buildings, increasing the air supply and exhaust ventilation, keeping the toilet ventilation open 24/7, • To install the air-conditioning system that uses 100% fresh air to improve the ventilation of the places to be in bulk or to use the air-conditioning system that can operate with 100% outdoor air in the event of an outbreak, • In order not to experience the negative effects of the air flow created by the blowing and suction elements and to obtain higher quality ambient air, the air flow within the space should be displaced, • It is recommended that heat recovery devices should not be used for epidemic propagation as plate and rotor type heat exchangers may leak from return air to blowing air. It will also be useful to touch upon the question of what kind of change in energy in the Covid-19 epidemic process. In energy, the world seems to be drifting towards a different unpredictable channel. To date, most of the hot conflicts have been closely linked to resource sharing, physical infrastructure security, and efforts to expand geopolitical domains, and trade wars were ongoing. We see new energy wars in transition from fossil fuels to green energy, combating climate change, falling oil prices, expanding market share, and directing technology and finance flows. Energy, the backbone of the economies, can upset the current account balance of the countries, trigger climate change, destroy the environment, fuel geopolitical
conflicts, fires and determine the place of countries in the global league. The Covid-19 epidemic not only changed the world balances we are accustomed to, but also the way we change our lives, the way we work, and it has once again demonstrated the importance of energy-food-water equation, especially for countries with high energy dependence but limited resources. . In scenarios dating back to 2060, the share of renewable energy sources in the world in electricity generation will increase to 40 percent, it is predicted that this transformation will create a significant decrease in oil demand, considering that electric vehicles will travel faster on the roads than expected. With the transformation of renewable energy sources into creative and sustainable systems in the energy sector, the transition to fuel changes, electricity-based solutions, smart grid management, individual energy generation ownership, shared assets and services are used in the end use. Robots, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, big data, Internet of things and blockchain technology match the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Green Energy Revolution. Covid-19 shows us that with the necessity of air conditioning systems working with 100% fresh air, it will slow down the studies on climate change, and also indicates that we will live in a world in the middle of energy wars. In the new world where air conditioning systems that use more fresh air and have better filtration will consume more energy, it seems inevitable that we will focus more on renewable energy sources. In the new world, where science and knowledge will be difficult after Covid-19, we see that the need for air conditioning systems to evolve in the event of an epidemic on the one hand, and the use of renewable energy sources on the other hand will be more important than ever before.

Equipped with the widest range of sensors and using data to classify materials, the machine is able to separate materials that are difficult or even impossible to sort with conventional technologies. SHARP EYE technology, which improves the light efficiency, improves the sorting accuracy and improves the extraction of difficult to target fractions while maintaining the same energy consumption of TOMRA, is offered as standard in the latest AUTOSORT® model. Our new generation AUTOSORT® system is an exciting development that can meet the demands of current and future sorting applications with the use of versatile sensors and intelligent software.” Participants of TOMRAʼs digital launch also had the opportunity to get to know the AUTOSORT® SPEEDAIR machine, another part of TOMRAʼs AUTOSORT® product range and another new product developed by TOMRA. AUTOSORT® SPEEDAIR is a highly customizable system designed to hold lightweight materials such as plastic films or paper on the high-speed belt, thereby increasing the extraction quality by achieving a higher efficiency. In line with the industryʼs demand for higher speed conveyor belts, AUTOSORT® SPEEDAIR includes speed-controlled fan-driven air intakes that produce a constant airflow on the conveyor belt to prevent material from moving on the fast belt. By increasing the speed of the conveyor belts by doubling up to 6 meters per second, high efficiency and uninterrupted superior output quality are provided. Customers are getting better ROI as well as lower installation and operating costs. As the first product on the market without a conveyor belt cover, access to the unit is much faster for maintenance purposes, compared to existing conventional high speed systems, the risk of material clogging and machine failure is much lower. In addition to the new generation of AUTOSORT® and AUTOSORT® SPEEDAIR launches, the third and final product at the event was AUTOSORT® CYBOT, the first robot to be introduced by TOMRA soon. The system consists of a new generation AUTOSORT® scanner, an electromagnetic sensor and a robot arm. AUTOSORT® CYBOT, the first robot on the market that offers four technologies simultaneously, combines Induction for Near Infrared (NIR) and Visible Light
(VIS) spectroscopy, DEEP LAISER and, if necessary, recovery of ferrous and nonferrous metals. The robot arm of AUTOSORT® CYBOT can split materials into four different streams or fractions simultaneously, depending on the size, colors and criteria of the targeted fractions. With the sorting and recycling facilities demanding higher levels of automation than ever before, the AUTOSORT® CYBOT, which will be launched soon, will be a new value-added component that completes the AUTOSORT® product range but can also be used as a stand-alone unit. Before the official launch, material tests will be conducted in TOMRAʼs Test Center, where extraordinary abilities can be seen. May make respiratory disease Stating that the materials used for cleaning contain different chemicals, prolonged exposure may cause respiratory problems. Bahar Öznur says that people with diseases such as asthma and chronic bronchitis can experience shortness of breath. He warned about the careful use of these products, frequent ventilation of the places, and that chemicals should never be used together. Bahar Öznur says, “Besides the discomfort in the respiratory tract, burning, stinging and redness of the eyes are among the common signs of irritation.” Mold soap instead of liquid soap While protecting against coronavirus, on the other hand, it is necessary to pay attention to some points in order not to endanger our skin health. Bahar Öznur collects her recommendations for the prevention of irritation in the hands under five headings: 1-Use gloves when cleaning the house. 2-Use warm water that is not too hot or cold during the cleaning process. 3-Do not do this without gloves if you are using irritant products such as bleach or disinfectant during the cleaning of the packages from outside and the products you buy from the market. 4-Make sure that the soap you wash your hands does not irritate the skin and has a moisturizing content. You can reduce the risk of eczema by using soap bar instead of liquid soap. You can opt for saboulos that contain glycerin or olive oil. 5-Always use a moisturizing cream after washing your hands. Creams with a high water-retention content such as petroleum jelly, glycerin, lanolin are particularly preferred. As the number one collaborative robot manufacturer in the world, today we develop robots with different carrying capacities to serve in different business and production models. We have 2 series as CB and e-Series with different access and carrying capacity and these products are divided into UR3, UR3e, UR5, UR5e and UR10, UR10e, UR16e. The theme of this yearʼs World Food Safety Day, which will be celebrated by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) on the 7th of June this year, is “Food safety is everyoneʼs business”. Food Safety Association President Samim Saner stated that the COVID-19 pandemic process is one of the important reasons for good hygiene practices and that it is indispensable to increase the hygiene awareness of our producers in terms of food safety and public health. HIZLI HASSAS KONTROL
UVS-OWL serisi baskı izleme kamerası; makinenin baskı kalitesinin gerçek zamanlı kontrolü, fireyi azaltmak, verimliliği üst düzeye çıkarmak ve kaliteyi arttırmak için tasarlanmış bir sistemdir. Baskı makinalarında yapılan baskının operatör tarafından kolayca takip edilmesini sağlar. Sistemde baskı yapılan klişeye bağlı encoder veya prox switch aracılığı ile makinaya senkron olması sağlanmaktadır. Yüksek çözünürlüğü sayesinde (2 Megapiksel) baskı net bir şekilde gözlemlenir. Kullanıldığı yerlere örnek olarak etiket baskı, flekso baskı, ofset baskı, tifdruk, serigrafi, dijital baskı ve kalite kontrol makinaları verilebilir. Kullanımı kolay arayüzü sayesinde makina operatörüne kolaylık sağlar. Talebe veya makinanın kullanım şatlarına göre makinanın ön-arka veya makina operatörün isteğine bağlı olarak farklı iki bölgeye ekran takılıp baskı izlenebilir. Ayrıca numune olarak seçilen fotoğraf ile anlık çekilen fotoğraflar karşılaştırılabilir. Geniş baskıların izlenebilmesi için taranacak bölge set edildikten sonra otomatik scan özelliği aktif edilir. Böylece set edilen bölge taranarak tüm baskı alanı ekrana aralıklarla yansıtılır.
