When Irving Sirotkin had trouble watching his 60 inch television and seeing the numbers on his new I-Phone 6 Plus earlier this year, he began to worry. With his eyesight already suffering from macular degeneration ("legally blind") in his right eye, which required cataract surgery back in 2005, this vibrant and busy Hallandale Beach resident was now having trouble with his left eye, and that was alarming. HALLANDALE BEACH Hundreds of children turned out Saturday for the annual Eggstravaganza at Peter Bluesten Park. Children up to age 12 were allowed to scour the baseball outfield to collect brightlycolored eggs and turn them in for bags of candy. For more on the event, see Page 6A.
