Great Neighborhoods Challenge II is coming
In the first GNC, more than $40,000 in cash prizes were awarded to homeowners throughout the City for improving their property. HOLLYWOOD - After the success of the first Great Neighborhoods Challenge in 2012, the City of Hollywood brought back its property improvement contest for round two! The idea behind the challenge is for the City, residents, and business owners to work together to improve the appearance of Hollywood neighborhoods. Property owners take “before” photos of their homes or businesses and then have a set period of time to make visible, exterior improvements. The Great Neighborhoods Challenge II kicked off on April 1st and wrapped up 5 months later on September 2nd. The challenge was extended by a month due to several weeks of inclement weather.
