Hi, Key-otes!

“I can’t believe that this is my last month creating the monthly newsletter and serving as your Bulletin Editor. I had an amazing term and am BEYOND grateful for all of the support I received. I am very excited to continue to serve on board as your VP of Community Service and work hand-in-hand with your new Bulletin Editor Elect: Aanja Abilar. This position is being left in AMAZING hands, as she is so creative, artistic, kind-hearted, and hard-working. I also would like to congratulate and welcome all the new additions to our board. We have an exciting time ahead of us Key-otes so continue to do your best and serve your communities!”

“Charity miles helped me get up and moving. Along with getting up and moving more, it was super easy for me to give back to my community. Charity miles is such an easy way to give back to the community without even having to do much. It was nice to choose from several charities, so that we are able to help everyone out. I am planning to keep this app on my phone in order to continue to help out our community.”

“This was most definitely a fun experience. I felt a sense of accomplishment at the end, and was a great memory to create.”

“While volunteering at Good Samaritan Christian Academy, my duties were to assist the teacher with anything she needed help with. I was assigned to cleaning her room as well as grading students' assignments/projects. Grading the projects was the most time-consuming, because they were large book reports. I enjoyed this opportunity, as I got to see what the 5th graders at Good Sam were learning in English and learn about their creative sides through their project. It was also eye-opening to truly experience how much work teachers go through on the daily outside of school hours with grading and maintaining their classrooms. I will definitely appreciate my teachers’ hard work more often!”
