Hi, Key-otes! “It’s that time of year! Elections are around the corner, now is your chance to be a part of our board!! I can truly say that I have enjoyed being on the Key Club board and that it has helped shape me into the person I am today. Having the role of Bulletin Editor improved my graphic design skills and practice time management. I am also very grateful for the friendships with the board and members that I made this school year. If you are considering running for the board, DO IT! We know that the caucus session in front of the club isn’t easy, but we are all very proud of you for trying your best. Please reach out to me if you are interested in becoming Bulletin Editor and have any questions! :D”

- Malorie Schwartz

Yaritzza Montenegro ‘24 “I enjoyed this opportunity, because I drew something that I thought looked nice and wrote down a joke I liked. I feel like the receiver will enjoy reading this card, since it has a positive feeling coming from it. It sounds sad that the receiver is going through a hard time, so I hope that in what I wrote it will put a smile on their face.”
Eloisa Valelo ‘25 “While creating cards, I learned how important it is to have empathy for others in need. I reflected on how grateful I am to be able to enjoy what I can without health constraints, and after making my cards I researched other small ways I can help. I enjoyed drawing and writing cards to encourage these children, and I genuinely hope it makes their day better.”
“Act as if what you do makes a difference… IT DOES!”
Aanja Abilar ‘24 “Sleep in Heavenly Peace is an organization that builds, assembles, and delivers bunk beds to children and families in need. Everyone had different jobs such as cutting the wood, painting it, or assembling it. I was in charge of sanding the wood so that the surface is smooth and splinters can be avoided. Everyone worked extremely hard and seeing the completed beds made the experience worthwhile. I feel very happy that less kids will be sleeping on the floor in our town.”
