Hi Key-uties! “I hope that you are all having an amazing and safe summer! If you’re trying to get ahead on your hours for next year please refer to the new Community Service hour form and Service Center posted in our Google Classroom! Also, please remember that photo-proof of you volunteering is required in order for your hours to be accepted! If you aren’t able to take photos and/or need a physical volunteer sheet please let me know! Continue to serve our community and spread kindness to others and I will see you again soon! :)” Biting with Service and Howling with Spirit,

Daniella Sayson

Hi Key-otes! “Whether you are on vacation with your family, working a summer job, or sleeping in, I hope you are enjoying your summer break! I just got back from a week in California for Church Camp where I spent 6 days out in the mountains hiking, listening to messages, and making new friends! I recently posted two forms on Google Classroom where you can share your summer plans with me. Filling out these forms gives you the opportunity to earn 1 service hour, and be featured in our Monthly Newsletter! As always, feel free to reach out to me with any questions, or just to say hi!” Your Bulletin Editor,

Malorie Schwartz

Alyana Arciaga “It surely raises the bar of being able to give back to the community as anyone is able to do it from anywhere. Thus, Charity Miles are such a great way for anyone who bikes, walks, or runs to donate to any charity of their choice. It really encourages me to also stay active and get some miles everyday knowing that I’m helping others from around the world.”

Malorie Schwartz “This summer, I visited Forest Hills, California which is located near Big Bear. I stayed there for 6 days up in the mountains for a Church Camp. I did zip lining, mini-golf, canoeing, pool competitions, lake activities, and even swam in a muddy swamp. I enjoyed myself while I was there, because I had the chance to make new friends, strengthen my relationship with God, and enjoy the outdoors.”

Amber Windon “I am visiting New York this summer with my family for my Birthday. We are going to visit lots of museums and enjoy the various parks and sceneries that the city has to offer.”

Aisha Samater “Freerice was very fun to do. The questions were easy and something that helped me learn a lot. It was something that I found very educational and it kept me busy. I’m very glad that it’s helping others as well, while teaching me. It didn’t take long as well, it was something to test my knowledge.”

Justyn Grace Moceros “Overall, my experience using Ecosia was decent. Considering that it is only an extension for an internet browser, some may think that there would be no difficulties at all. However, to my surprise, using Ecosia was different compared to using regular Google. Other than that, Ecosia is a quality organization that is truly striving to live in a world with a better environment by planting these trees.”

Malorie Schwartz “When I was helping a teacher unpack her classroom, my duties were: take down a bulletin board, take the books off the bookshelves and box them up, wipe down desks, and carry boxed items out to the teacher's car from her classroom, and other small tasks.
