Message From: The President “Hi Key-uties! I hope everyone had a great third quarter! Please don’t forget that hours are due next month on April 30th! Be sure to get your hours in order to be inducted this term. Thank you for continuing to serve our school and community regardless of the circumstances, I truly appreciate every one of you!” Biting with service and howling with spirit,

- Daniella Sayson

Message From: The Editor “Hi Key-otes! I hope you are all doing well! Please remember that your 35 hours are due on April 30th. Check out our Service Center on Google Classroom for some volunteer opportunities that can be done right from your home! Also, don’t forget that we are starting a new schedule at school this month, and that school will start at 7:00am instead of 8:00am. Have a great day, and keep serving Coyotes!” Your Bulletin Editor,

- Malorie Schwartz

Shine City Project

Hanae Furugaki “This event was the continuation of the last event I participated in the previous week. Our task was to remove the rust and paint over the fences. It was scorching and sunny that day, so it was hard to paint in the heat while the sun was glaring in your eye and burning your skin. We also had a substantially smaller number of volunteers, so the process felt longer and duller. However, I got to talk and know someone new, so it was a refreshing experience to paint while having an in-depth conversation about our lives. We also got to eat Zen's curry and tiramisu at the end of the day, making the event enjoyable and satisfying overall.”

Women’s Day Postcards

Malorie Schwartz “For this volunteer opportunity, I created postcards for women in my life to celebrate International Women's Day. I created my postcards in Canva by using templates, and including colors, images, and a sweet note that relates to the person I am making the card for. I really enjoyed this opportunity, because it gave me the chance to thank the women/girls in my life for everything they've done for me, and tell them how much I appreciate them. This also gave me the chance to uplift my friends and family, which makes me happy. I will definitely start doing this more often, even when it isn't a holiday, to show my appreciation for my friends!”

Ecosia Web Browser

Vassily Tan “I think that using Ecosia as a web browser is super convenient because not only are you contributing to climate change, but you're also doing it in a way that doesn't inconvenience you at all. It's something that anybody can get used to and there's little to no difference between Ecosia and Google. Especially because searching stuff up is something we do so often, you're able to make a difference in a serious issue without changing anything about your daily schedule.”
