Board Messages Hey Coyotes!

Hi Key-otes! I am Aanja Abilar and I am so excited to serve as your new Key Club Bulletin Editor for the 22’-23’ term! Not only do I get to do what I love (art and design) through the Key Club graphics and newsletters, I also get to work alongside such an amazing board as well as club. Let’s continue to do our best and serve our community! As a reminder, make sure you have your 40 service hours submitted by April 30 in order to be inducted. :)

My name is Rochelle Barrameda serving as President for the 22’-23’ Key Club term! I am beyond excited for what this term has in store for us all. I wish to guide & lead you all into awesome leaders in your Key Club journey. As we are rolling into the new term, our new board is preparing new ideas for this term; fundraising events & unique service opportunities during meetings! Please keep in mind that service hours are due by the end of next month! The Service Center is available to you through our Instagram bio Linktree! If you have any questions concerning your hours, please email me or Malories. Other than that, I hope you all have enjoyed your three day weekend & stay safe!

Coyotes in Service Rock n Roll Las Vegas

Malorie Schwartz “I volunteered at the Rock N Roll Las Vegas event sponsored by St. Jude. I was part of the registration team and my responsibilities were to: take participants' Bib numbers, check their ID’s, hand them their paperwork/other required materials for the evening, and direct them to their next location. I enjoyed this service opportunity as I got to meet new people, see my friends, and improve my customer service skills.”

Letters of Love for Elders “I really enjoyed this service opportunity as I’m a very crafty person. I love arts and crafts in general so this was a super fun way to send some love to our elders. I also liked reading the small paragraphs about the people I was writing to. I find it interesting to learn about people. Some of the elders like to do things that I like to do including knitting and listening to records. I would definitely recommend others to participate in this service opportunity.”

FCCLA After School Cleanup “While participating in this after school clean up activity, I was able to connect with my friends and give back to my immediate community. Ms. Sheldon was lovely to us as always and helped us out whenever we needed it. Although it was extremely windy and cold, our group ended up having the most amount of trash. We hadn't realized time passed so quickly as we made the situation more fun for ourselves.”
