September 2020

Hey, Coyotes! I hope everyone has been Doing well with their classes! We held our first meeting of the year and it was really successful! Please remember to check our instagram and google classroom for more updates! For those of you guys who are new to Key Club, please feel free to email me and send in a DM! I’ll be glad to help you out! :) Sincerely,

Hey Coyotes, We are finally starting this new term with you all. As the school year unfolds, I decided to ask a couple of our keyote members on their input about their online school experience. Along with that, we just held our very first virtual meeting of the year! There is so much to discover this year & I couldn’t be happier to spend it with my home club. Be safe everyone, and wash your hands!

Sincerely,

~ Malorie Schwartz

“Online school has been going well for me so far, and I have been making the best of it. However, I do prefer being at the actual school building. I strive to be logged in around 7 am where I then check my emails and work on assignments. I have been staying organized for school by using the Canvas Calendar where I write in To-Do's for myself. I am excited for what this school year will bring, and for the types of activities we will do in class, even though it will be different.”

“I honestly like online school. It is difficult at times however it does give me more time for my notes and I feel I focus more. It's easy having everything in front of me and eating better meals since i'm at home , giving me the energy to work. I'm excited to see how the rest of the year turns out !”

“So far I'm 50/50 on online school. I like

~ Angelene Jurado

that we have shorter hours and it's from the comfort of our own home. On the other hand, there's still a heavy workload and sometimes difficulties with the internet connection. I usually wake up 6/6:30 to just wash my face and make breakfast. I bought a desk before school started, so that I'd have somewhere to work instead of my bed. I'm hoping we go back to school at least once for this year and also I'm excited to see how Key Club is going to work this year.”

“Doing online/virtual school is such a different experience. I prefer being at school because we can actually interact with friends face-to-face instead of through a screen. I stay organized by making sure my workspace is clean and I usually put all my important due dates and assignments on my calendar, or my notes app on my phone. Lastly, I am super excited to see what this year has to hold and where it takes us. For example, if we’re going to continue doing virtual school or if we actually get to go back to campus.”
