Hey Key Clubbers! It's HannaMae Imperial, Southwest CTA's Key Club president. I hope this summer so far has been full of smiles and fun! I've been full of smiles and fun! I've been enjoying my summer and have so far been to Japan, Philippines, and I'm currently experiencing winter in Australia! I know the summer heart is really beating down back in Las Vegas, so hydrate and keep yourself cool! With love,
HannaMae Imperial

Happy summer Key Clubbers!! I hope you are all enjoying your summer vacation and are staying hydrated throughout the day. There are some volunteer opportunities to get some hours in on the key club website!! Although I was unable to attend June DCM, I have heard it was pretty fun and did a "piethe-in-face" fundraiser. I hope you enjoy this month's newsletter. Have a fun, safe, and hydrated summer!! Much love,
Nicollette Tolentino

Our division, D28S, came together to do some fun and exciting games. They did a fundraiser called "pie-inthe-face" and raised money while getting fun and messy!! They even got to pie the LTG!

I volunteer at a day care that also prepares students for their next grade level during the summer. My experience with the kids there have been pleasant, but sometimes their attitudes get the best of them. As a volunteer, I usually help out with the math teacher, but other volunteers are assigned to kindergarten, preschool, English, or Chinese. I’ve learned how to deal with attitude (in a respectful way) and manage younger kids through this experience.
