standard information on subject understanding the various approach on presenting a personal architecture portfolio
This module was to assist the students in preparing the architecture portfolio before stepping into the architecture industry as the portfolio is the single most important piece of document, record and indication of the standard, competency, and interests of the individual. The portfolio covered the technique and style of individual artistic style of presentation or work compilation technique. The tutors were there to simply help focus the techniques used to heighten the portfolios. The portfolio module as a wholesome was taught through different exercises with an intention of a holistic mean such that it was construed as a remedial class, a purely graphic and packaging exercise and a reassessment of past design studios.There were also lectures on how to approach the various approaches for the presentation of works.

first draft: architecture design statement + project selection This part of the project was to understand the different approach of presenting a personal portfolio. The students were required to write an architecture statement on how does one see or feel about architecture and how does on approach a design with this stated view on architecture. The statement comprised my own understanding and interest on a specific factor in this architecture field which direct to the selection of projects. The projects were selected according to the statement that was mentioned where each project helped in one way or another, or integrated with each other to back my architecture design statement.

second draft: layout design + draft print out In this second part of the project, we were required to produce a rough final draft on our personal portfolio to further develop into the final one. I approached my second part as a minimalistic design where it was set out as a simple booklet only. This was thought to be the most suitable approach because I believed that when we are to give out our portfolios to the people of the industry, it is best if it was set out simple and easy to be given out.
