Re-inventing themselves for summer 2023

Following the awesome success of Stockport’s Giant Leap Frog Art Trail in 2019 and the Gigantic Leap Frog Art Trail in 2021, the Stockport Frogs are back for 2023!

Created by the team at Totally Stockport, the town centre’s Business Improvement District, this summer a brand-new trail of ‘Frogtastic Invention’ frogs will be hopping onto their giant cogs across the town centre, creating an educational, vibrant and fun FREE outdoor art trail for everyone to enjoy over the summer holidays.

Local artists are busy bringing the giant frogs to life – pop in and watch them at work in the frog factory, located in the former USC unit on Ardern Walk in Merseyway Shopping Centre. By the magical strokes of the artists brush you will soon be able to learn where the first hamburger was made and who invented the computer. Do you know who flew the first aeroplane or how the vaccine came about? You can find out about these and many more fascinating inventions when you visit the Frogtastic Inventions Giant Art Trail from 22nd July to 29th September.

There’ll be a mini-frog trail too – come down and see how many you can spot in shop windows around the town centre. They’ll be a chance for some lucky explorers to win their very own frog! You’ll be able to plan your day to perfection by downloading a map from the Totally Stockport website or you can just pop down to the town centre and pick up a map from Merseyway and bars and shops across the town centre.

Local businesses can join in too!

Stockport’s previous frog art trails have attracted thousands and thousands of people both locally and from across UK. This July to September, residents and visitors of all ages and backgrounds, from businesses, schools and community groups will be descending on the town to discover the ingenious frogs and their amazing inventions.

This unique Art Trail will shine the spotlight on Stockport, a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to be promoted, advertise to new audiences, engage and interact with your teams with team building events / games and support local charities.
