In special cases, according to Tecnopool’s experience, these differences can reach 30°C.
Anyway, also in some specific cases in which it is necessary, forced ventilation is also installed in order to increase the convective effect.
The technical decision leading Tecnopool to choose a radiator system,together with the special configuration afforded by the spiral, comes from the results obtained after years of trials with all types of products and in very different working conditions, which show a higher thermal performance, thus improving the results compared with other systems.
The thermal fluid that runs through the tubes is diathermic oil, a system that has been chosen on account of its high thermal performance and its very low risk.
It must be taken into consideration that the performance of a diathermic-oil boiler ranges between 87% and 91%, compared to 60% of an air-heating system or 30% of a direct-flame heating system.

For over thirty years, STA Impianti has been designing, building and marketing systems for coffee roasting, dedicated to small, middle-sized and large coffee roasters. Flexibility and the option of monitoring and increasing the efficiency of energy use, without altering product quality, are among the features that the market appreciates in STA machines. an efficient system to reduce fumes makes them second to none.
STA has developed a particularly advanced system for roasting coffee and removing fumes, based on two separate elements for the management of the two phases.
With regard to the roasting phase, the patented heating system removes the typical action of convective motion, transmitting heat through convection from the top to the bottom of the roasting drum. In this way, the system’s thermal inertia is almost nil. In turn, this leads to shorter cooking times and greater precision in the roasting phase, increasing efficiency and, at the same, the facility’s flexibility. One of the key factors in STA-designed machines has always been the capacity to process different coffee types and qualities, ensuring high-quality roasting in all cases. Additionally, the latest-generation STA machines are equipped with re-designed heating adduction collectors, which allow to deliver fully pre-heated ambient air into the processing area. This is achieved through suitable transmission inlets and leads to 20% energy savings compared to older STA systems, which can already guarantee considerable savings on running costs compared to competitor machines. Further savings are achieved by the fume removal system, which reaches peak efficiency only when necessary, i.e. at the very end of the roasting process, when the coffee’s temperature is in the 150°-170°C range. Depending on the desired type
and degree of roasting, coffee roasters can manage the fume removal phase at their discretion, manually or automatically, which leads to a considerable reduction in gas consumption. All the results above are achieved in facilities that comply with the most recent environmental laws. These principles are typical of STA systems and can be found in the entire machine line-up - from small 5kg roasters to units designed for large production batches.

Among the new solutions, it is worth highlighting the family of spiral mixers Gold Line with bottom discharge, consisting of 4 models of different sizes: 160-200250-300 kg per batch. This line meets diverse layout and space requirements, for it can be part of different highly versatile solutions.
Such machines enable the dough discharge both directly inside the moving tanks and on a belt elevator
that can also be preceded by a portioning hopper to feed the divider of one or more production lines.
The double heavy-duty transmission and the motor that drives the spiral, dimensioned with large power reserve, can provide all the required torque even in the most demanding situations. The bowl, whose rotation is guaranteed by a gear system, is driven by a transmission with independent, inverter-controlled motor which allows speed adjustment.
A hydraulic system is responsible to open and close bowl bottom and machine head.
The control console, equipped with a PLC, consists of a touch-screen panel that allows the storage of more recipes, the connection with a possible automatic ingredient dosage system, and to activate and deactivate the tool during the downloading process as to facilitate the release of the dough. This system is conveniently placed in an external box with emergency button and all warning lights.
The electrical equipment is located in the same box, equipped with a dustproof pressurization system, thus resulting very convenient for inspection, maintenance and routine cleaning operations.
On request, the following can be supplied as options: special tools,temperature probe for the dough,scraper for the tub, and a controlled tool speed variation system, as well as the full version in stainless steel.

By means of a high-precision electronic system, the machine sorts tomatoes, fruit or vegetables by colour; depending on the application, it can also discard either products of incorrect colour or foreign bodies.For some years now, Protec technology has been applied also in the winery sector, where its sorters are used to sort grapes by mean of a piece of equipment called x-tri. “Grapes leaving the destemmer are evenly distributed on the vibrating belt that feeds the optical unit belt”, explains Mr. Luigi Sandei. “The optical sensor detects various defects (rachises, leaves, stems, insects, and foreign bodies) and rejects them by an air jet.
The optical system also detects unripe grapes (which are obviously of different colour)) that can be removed together with other defective grapes.The defects to be detected and removed can be set by means of touchscreen technology.The x-tri line enables processing up to 15t/h of grapes.”

PIGO’s long term experience in fruit and vegetables processing brought it to develop the high-tech freeze dryer that allows to save delicate aromas while drying the frozen product under vacuum producing a premium quality product. The ice contained in the product is sublimated, hence transformed from solid to gas and then trapped inside the condensation system. The sensorial properties of the finished product are absolutely superimposable to those of the fresh product. At the completion of the process, the treated product will have retained its form, volume and original structure, as well as all its physical, chemical and biological properties. It can then be stored (if provided with packaging preventing the moisture migration) for an almost indefinite period of time. As the product is porous, it can be re-dissolved by the simple addition of a proper solvent (water).
For the process of lyophilization (freeze drying) it is necessary the IQF freezing process of the product. And for the perfect IQF process before lyophilization PIGO recommends its EASY Freeze IQF Freezer. Full controlled fluidisation method keeps the product constantly suspended above the belt in a cushion of air. The result is the immediate crust freezing and efficient core freezing of individual pieces, regardless of type, variety or condition of product. Maximized freezing efficiency is guaranteed for each unique product, whether the product is heavy, light, soft, sticky or fragile, thanks to variable speed control of all fans and all other build-inn drives, allowing on-the-fly optimization of air flow conditions. In order to provide a complete service covering all the needs of a boiler room, MINGAZZINI also designs and manufactures atmospheric and pressurized deaerators
with capacities up to 60 cubic meters and with rated pressures up to 10 bar, steam manifolds tested according to PED Directive, blow down vessels, feed water tanks, water softeners, reverse osmosis plants. All the steam boilers of the PB and PVR series have a base efficiency of 90%. Depending on the number of working hours and the type of fuel used, energy recovery systems capable of achieving efficiencies up to 95.5% can be provided for the single unit.

Thanks to the introduction of the new Paperseal® System, Kaufland will save 125 tons of plastic per year for a single product. In this context, its supermarket chain Kaufland will introduce from September 2019 the most innovative solution by G.Mondini, Paperseal®, which is a unique packaging system that allows the use of a cardboard container, covered with a thin recyclable plastic film for such products as cheese, fresh meats, processed meats, ready-made products, frozen foods, snacks, salads and fruit. The system allows to easily separate the cardboard and the film, which can then be recycled separately following the instructions on the packaging.
The green smart generation has already started
The first step will be to obtain the reduction up to 70% of the plastic used in the packaging of minced meat. Thus, 125 tons of plastic will be saved each year for just one product, and since the packaging is printed and assembled directly in the meat processing companies, transport costs will also be significantly cut, reducing costs and pollution levels.
Minced meat in the new package will be available in all Kaufland supermarkets from Autumn 2019. Another important successful achievement for G.Mondini SpA.

Thanks to the direct action on material of shock waves generated by the firing of compressed air cannon (maximum working pressure: 10 bar) it is possible to eliminate bridges, constipations and crusts that clog the storage structures (silos, hoppers, cells, etc.) reducing the load capacity and making it difficult to extract material. Barra Project air cannons range is suitable for equipping storage structures of all sizes (cannon tanks from 0,5Lt to 150Lt, other tanks volumes are possible upon request; temperatures -10°C, +100°C; areas subject to corrosion).

Vertical machines
