Ambos hospitales del Tec están en la zona metropolitana de Monterrey. El Hospital Zambrano Hellion se inauguró en el 2012 y fue diseñado por el arquitecto Víctor Legorreta. En tanto, el Hospital San José fue fundado en 1969 y se integró al Tec en 1978. Fue recientemente remodelado y funge actualmente como hospital covid.
