Vol. 58 CONFERENCE
Dharamsala 8th Body Mind and Life conference themed Nurturing a Child Mental Health was held from 30 September-1 October 2018 at the College Hall. The well-attended conference was organized by Body, Mind and Life Department of Men-Tsee-Khang.

Dharamsala Men-Tsee-Khang organized a 5-day Introductory Course in English on Tibetan Medicine from 11-15 September and a 10-day Foundation Course in English on Tibetan Medicine from 17-28 September 2018 in the College Hall. This year, the course successfully witnessed a total number of 19 participants for the 5-day course and 16 participants for the 10-day course. TCV school, Ladakh Men-Tsee-Khang Cultural Centre conducted a health talk on Tibetan Medicine to over 200 students of the Tibetan Children Village (TCV) School, Ladakh, on 28 July 2018. Dr. Tenzin Thaye, One of the Visiting Physicians to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and Dr. Jigmey gave lectures on Tibetan Medicine (Sowa-Rigpa). EXHIBITION / MEDICAL CAMP
An expert each from Buddhist Psychology, Tibetan Medicine, Tibetan Astro-Science, Western Medical Science, Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathic presented their perspectives on the topic. A total number of 230 participants attended the conference. COURSE / WORKSHOP Ladakh Men-Tsee-Khang Cultural Centre organized a course on Tibetan Medicine on 24 July 2018 to Four Germans and on 27 July to fourteen members of the Tibet Support Group from Sweden. Dr. Thinley Namgyal was the resource person. After the lectures both group received health consultations and a guided tour of the museum and the library.
