These dresses also make great gifts for your daughters, granddaughters, or sisters who may need help in dressing discreetly. Today, it is not easy shopping for clothes that help us to do that especially for the younger woman. But these dresses will look good on any woman, in her teens and up.

H
ello, ladies! Happy new year! I would like to ask you a question, how is your relationship with God? If it is anything short of what you desire, I encourage you to make that your goal for this year, to deepen your relationship with Him. As a matter of fact, it is a goal I constantly renew on a regular basis because falling and stumbling is human nature, even in our relationship with God, and it is good for us to aim to restore it regularly as needed. Trials and temptations are a normal part of life and unfortunately they many times dampen our intimacy with God. Yet when we examine ourselves and our relationship with him, it can be restored. God is love and loves us and he deeply desires an intimate relationship with us. That is the primary reason he sent Jesus his precious Son, not only so that we can have eternal life, but so that we can spend eternity with him in heaven.
Lastly, I encourage you get a copy of my latest book, The Godly Woman’s Guide to Inner & Outer Beauty, because it was written just for you. So, if you have yet to do so, make sure you go online and order your copy today. It is available at all bookstores and on my web site. It will hugely benefit any woman who is godly or who aspires to godliness (which is a huge challenge in our society today). It is a God-send for women who desire to know God’s will for their lives, who are seeking a godly man to marry, whose marriages may be in trouble and who desire their marriage to be blessed, and so much more. As usual, all of the proceeds from my books and DVD’s will be used to fund Jesus’ Feet, to keep my television program on the air, and to keep this ministry growing. Before I go, please contact me and let me know if you have any prayer requests or are in need of biblical counseling. For those who do not know I offer free (donation supported) Bible-based counseling to women in need, and it is greatly needed. All information shared is held in strict confidence. My contact information is on my website at www.thegodlywomansguide.org. Thank you for listening.
In this edition of The Godly Woman’s Guide, I go above and beyond God’s call per 1 Timothy 2:9 that calls women who profess to godliness to dress modestly. In an effort to help us do this, I have designed dresses I created just for us godly women and women who aspire to godliness. They are first of all comfortable yet more importantly, modest and discreet. They were created to be worn with leggings, which are very popular nowadays, and they are very stylish. I wore all of them on The Godly Woman’s Guide television show to model them for you. Therefore, you may also see them there. You can watch my show on my Youtube channel. Simply type in Terri Temple or The Godly Woman’s Guide. I look forward to seeing you there.
May God our holy Father in heaven continue to bless you so that you may always be a blessing wherever you go. I love you, ladies! Genuinely,

A LOVELY SPIRIT/INNER BEAUTY
BENEFITS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR BEING A GODLY WOMAN “So prepare your minds for service. With complete self-control put all your hope in the grace that will be yours when Jesus Christ comes. In the past you did not have the understanding you have now, so you did the evil things you wanted to do. But now you are children of God, so you should obey him and not live the way you did before. Be holy in everything you do, just as God is holy. He is the one who chose you. In the Scriptures God says, “Be holy, because I am holy”.~1 Pet. 1:13-16 ERV
N
ot too long ago a young woman
sent me a letter via email. In it she stated that she doesn’t be-
lieve she could live up to the name of a godly woman. Yet I remember when I was a new Christian, I had felt and believed the same thing about myself. But with God all things are possible. If you feel the same, that you can never be godly, it usually means you need more faith and hope in God and in his might. I encourage you to do as I did in my quest to be a godly woman: I prayed for God to give me the desire, wisdom, courage, and strength to be a godly
woman,
and
he
did.
In general, there are only three conditions that need to be met to qualify as a godly woman. They are: belief in and obedience to God and Jesus, an unquenchable desire to learn and grow, and humility (modesty, meekness).

(See John 3:16; James 4:10; and 2 Timo-
10 CHARACTERISTICS OF A GODLY WOMAN
thy 2:15)
1) Gentle and quiet in spirit instead of anxious. 2) Humble instead of proud. 3) Compassionate and patient instead of angry. 4) Faithful instead of fearful. 5) Joyful in hope instead of depressed or gloomy. 6) Grateful and thankful instead of grumbling and disobedient. 7) Praises God instead of complaining. 8) Is a blessing instead of a curse. 9) Loving not hateful. 10) Always expects the best, not the worst.
As you can see from the list below, the benefits and rewards far outweigh the criterion. Whatever you do don’t try to do it alone. God enjoys helping us to be godly or Christ-like and he will when we read our Bibles each day, aim to apply it, and pray to be holy. God is love and loves to help us. Let him help you to be godly and he will.

3. After putting her grandchildren to bed, a grandmother changed into old slacks and a droopy blouse and proceeded to wash her hair. As she heard the children getting more and more rambunctious, her patience grew thin.
THE JOYS OF GRANDPARENTING
T
hese jokes are funny even if you’re not a grandparent, like me. ~TT
1. A grandmother was in the bathroom, putting on her makeup, under the watchful eyes of her young granddaughter, as she’d done many times before. After she applied her lipstick and started to leave, the little one said, ”But Gramma, you forgot to kiss the toilet paper good-bye!” 2. My young grandson called the other day to wish me Happy Birthday. He asked me how old I was, and I told him, sixty-two. My grandson was quiet for a moment, and then he asked, “Did you start at one?”
Finally, she threw a towel around her head and stormed into their room, putting them back to bed with stern warnings. As she left the room, she heard the three-year-old say with a trembling voice, “Who was THAT?” 4. A grandmother was telling her little granddaughter what her own childhood was like: “We used to skate outside on a pond I had a swing made from a tire; it hung from a tree in our front yard. We rode our pony. We picked wild raspberries in the woods.” The little girl was wide-eyed, taking this all in. At last she said, “I sure wish I’d gotten to know you sooner!” 5. My grandson was visiting one day when he asked, “Grandma, do you know how you and God are alike?” I mentally polished my halo and I said, ”No, how are we alike?’’ “You’re both old,” he replied.
14
6. A little girl was diligently pounding away on her grandfather‘s word processor. She told him she was writing a story. “What ’s it about?” he asked. “I don’t know,” she replied. “I can’t read.” 7. I didn’t know if my granddaughter had learned her colors yet, so I decided to test her. I would point out something and ask what color it was. She would tell me and was always correct. It was fun for me, so I continued. At last, she headed for the door, saying, “Grandma, I think you should try to figure out some of these, yourself!” 8. When my grandson Billy and I entered our vacation cabin, we kept the lights off until we were inside to keep from attracting pesky insects. Still, a few fireflies followed us in. Noticing them before I did, Billy whispered, “It’s no use Grandpa. Now the mosquitoes are coming after us with flashlights.” 9. When my grandson asked me how old I was, I teasingly replied, “I’m not sure.” “Look in your underwear, Grandpa,” he advised, “mine says I’m 4 to 6.” 11. Children’s Logic: “Give me a sentence about a public servant,” said a teacher. The small boy wrote: “The
fireman came down the ladder pregnant”. The teacher took the lad aside to correct him. “Don’t you know what pregn a n t means?” she a s k e d . “Sure,” said the young boy confid e n t l y . ’It means carrying a c h i l d . ”
12. A grandfather was delivering his grandchildren to their home one day when a fire truck zoomed past. Sitting in the front seat of the fire truck was a Dalmatian dog. The children started discussing the dog’s duties. “They use him to keep crowds back,” said one child. “No,” said another. “He’s just for good luck.” A third child brought the argument to a close. “They use the dogs,” she said firmly, “to find the fire hydrants.”
13. A 6-year-old was asked where his grandma lived. “Oh,” he said, “she lives at the airport, and when we want her, we just go get her. Then, when we’re done having her visit, we take her back to the airport.” TGWG

NATURAL/HERBAL GOD-GIVEN REMEDIES Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. ... Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing. ~Ezek. 47:12
TEA TREE OIL
T
ea tree oil, or melaleuca oil, is an es sential oil with a fresh camphoraceous odor and a color that ranges from pale yellow to nearly colorless and clear. It is taken from the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia, which is native to Southeast Queensland and the Northeast coast of New South Wales, Australia. Tea tree oil should not be confused with tea oil, the sweet seasoning and cooking oil from pressed seeds of the tea plant Camellia sinensis (beverage tea) or the tea oil plant Camellia oleifera. Tea tree oil is toxic when taken by mouth, but is widely used in low concentrations in cosmetics and skin washes. Tea tree oil has been claimed to be useful for treating a wide variety of medical conditions. Although it shows some promise as an antimicrobial, there is insufficient evidence of its effectiveness for many of these claimed uses. ~Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Today, main stream medical professionals and pharmacies use antibiotics to cure fungus and according to many of them, as noted in the above quote from Wikipedia, there is insufficient evidence tea tree oil cures fungus, a very common ailment among mankind. But I, and many others, beg to differ. I personally do my best to avoid man-made medicines, due to my having many negative experiences with them and due to my taking caution from the negative side-effects reported on their labels. Therefore, I only use them as a last resort. Following is my positive experience with tea tree oil.
My schedule can really get hectic at times so I enjoy relaxing at the spa. I usually get a Swedish massage but first I normally sit in the Jacuzzi for about half an hour, then the steam room. Sometimes I like to swim in the swimming pool. When I first began going to the spa, I noticed that I had developed a strong itch in my chest area. Later, after some investigation, I discovered I had grown a ringworm there. Yes, it was yucky. You took the words out of my mouth. The last time I remember having a ringworm was when I was about ten years old, so I started to try to put the pieces together of where I could have contacted it. I did some research on the internet and found that ringworms could be contacted through public towels and pools, so putting the two together finally made sense. Most likely I had caught it from the swimming pool at the spa because it was the

only thing I had done out of the ordinary in a very long time. In the meantime, I hoped alcohol would do the trick and cure it. So I began to apply it with a cotton swab to the infected area but the itch was very intense and uncomfortable and still would not go away. After more research and seeking a remedy, I learned via the Internet that tea tree oil was an excellent cure.
W
hen I first became a Christian, I was extremely spiritually weak and my emotions frequently went up and down like a rollercoaster causing much trouble in my life and in my relationships with others. But when I finally got what being a Christian was all about, and learned how to commit my life to God, I started reading God’s Word more intently and began using it to help me stay spiritually and emotionally balanced.
After applying the oil almost daily for about two to three weeks the ringworm had disappeared. Boy was I relieved! However, applying it can get messy. One way to avoid spilling it (or to prevent using too much) is to apply it with a cotton ball or a Q-tip. Tea tree oil is also great for other types of fungus like dandruff and nail infections. My husband recently purchased a body-shampoo with the oil in it and it has helped to clear fungus he had growing on his feet. Therefore, if you or your family members ever have a bout of fungus, I recommend tea tree oil. It is highly effective and a God-given remedy. TGWG
One important thing I did was to jot down thoughts from the Bible and to summarize them in a journal. I then would recite them daily to help me stay balanced mentally and spiritually. Not too much later, and since I am a Christian author, God put it on my heart to write a book with these same words of affirmation in them that have dramatically changed my life for the better. Because of this, today I am a godly woman and a devout Christian wholeheartedly devoted to God and I am able to successfully minister to countless women around the world. Today, you can receive a free copy of this book, The Godly Woman’s Guide to Daily Affirmation’s, by making a small donation to my women’s ministry whose mission is to empower women around the world and to help widows and orphans in extreme poverty situations. To learn more please go to my web site at www.thegodlywomansguide.org. God bless you and may he continue to bless you so that you may always be a blessing wherever you go. I love you! ~TT
PLEASE NOTE: Do your own research on herbal medicines and check with your doctor before ceasing or beginning any prescribed or over-the-counter medications, especially if you have any type of health ailment. I am not a medical doctor but I prefer, and utilize herbal medicines after taking care to research them. Also, some herbal medicines may cause the blood sugar level to drop so be careful with them, especially if you have diabetes or low blood sugar. As for those herbals that do cause my blood sugar to drop, I take them sparingly or with food. TGWG

WOMEN OF THE BIBLE Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. ~Prov. 31:10; 29-30
EVE
T
he Bible tells us very little about Eve, the first woman in the world but she is the mother of us all. She is also the first woman to be truly adored by a man, perhaps too much. I say this because she was able to lead her husband into the greatest sin of them all, the fall of mankind. Of course her and he being so young had no idea as to the consequences of their sins, just like us today. Satan led Eve to shift her focus from all she had to one thing she didn’t. And Eve bought into his deception without even checking with God, nor her husband, the head of their house. But we womankind today are no different. We sometimes make decisions on our own, without consulting God, and usually do not until we are in the depths of despair and realize our shortcomings. Eve was typical of us all and we show we have her genes by our constant mistakes and desire to sin. We do well to keep God in all of our decision making no matter how small we think they may be. God’s Word promises to never fail us when we stick with him and Jesus.
STRENGTHS, ACCOMPLISHMENTS, AND LESSONS FROM HER LIFE
• The female shares in the image of God. • The propensity for us to sin leads back to the beginning of the human race. • The necessary ingredients for a strong marriage are commitment to each other, companionship, and complete oneness, absence of shame.
• First wife and mother • First female • First woman to walk the planet

MOMENT OF FAITH A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. ~ 1 Tim. 2:5 KJV
T
he primary reason Jesus came to earth and was sacrificed for us is so that we could have a relationship with God through him. This is why he is called our mediator. And the only way to get to God, the only God, is through Christ Jesus. That is the bottom line of it all—us having a relationship with God. From the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation that is what the Bible is trying to convey to us. Accepting Jesus, getting baptized and or becoming a Christian is really just the start, not the end, of learning how to have a relationship with God. By following or imitating Christ, we learn what pleases God. When we follow his lead we come into a great relationship with God. This relationship is not with Christ. Rather it is with God through Christ. Our relationship is not with the church or its members necessarily. It is with God. Everything else is simply a byproduct of it. For instance, when I first became a member of the church almost thirty years ago something in my life was missing but I did not know what it was. Years later I learned that the problem was that I did not have a relationship with God and that is what was absent. But during that time, for nearly twenty years, I was very spiritually weak and stumbled and failed countless times. However, when I learned that I needed God and saw him as my holy Father in heaven, and when I began to depend upon Him as my rock and my refuge, my life changed dramatically and for the better.
When church leaders fail to convey this to their members, they have put limits on them and their relationship with God and his plan for their lives. Overall, they are missing the mark. So remember, telling people how to become a Christian is just the beginning. This is one reason so many people fail or stumble when it comes to being committed to God via the church and in their walk with him. There are so many people who are not being told the whole story in regard to why they should become a Christian. As a result, the church is weak. The solution is to tell people that it is all about a relationship with God so that they can bond with him and be successful as a Christian. When that happens, everything else falls into place. When this is done, more people will be truly committed to Father God and get what being a Christian is all about, and we (faithful church members) do not have to beg or deceive them to come to the services of the church or to get more involved. They do it cheerfully and on their own. By the way, how is your relationship with God? He is love and loves you and desires to have a relationship with you so much that he sent his only begotten son to die upon the cross for you. You too can have a good relationship with God via Christ Jesus. We all can. TGWG

Eldoret, a town in Kenya, Africa and we desperately need your help.
Eldoret is a ghetto or slum area in Kenya, where over fifty-percent of the population lives far below the poverty line and many of the children die of starvation due to lack of food, and job opportunities, for its citizens.
We are helping and empowering the widows there by providing the women in Eldoret, Kenya with work opportunities so that they can help provide for their children, many of

ccording to the Bible passage noted below, Jesus was able to submit to full obedience to God, even to washing the disciples feet, though he was a king, and literally obeyed to death on a cross, because he knew God’s will for his life. We too are able to be like Jesus, and remain faithful to God, regardless of how tough life gets, when we too know his will for our lives. “Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God, rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself. After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded”. ~John 13:3-5 NKJV
