Rahul Gandhi said that the RSS is trying to change the true nature of India. No other organization tries to capture or attack Indian institutions. In 1928, a teacher founded 'Muslim Brotherhood' in Egypt. This religious-political organization of Sunni Muslims spread in many Arab countries. But many countries, including Bahrain, Egypt, Rus-

sia, Saudi Arabia and UAE, have declared it as a terrorist organization on charges and allegations of spreading violence and fanaticism. Rahul Gandhi, INC President, in his out of country media interview compared the RSS with Muslim Brotherhood in terms of spreading a message of violence in the name of religion.

Is RSS' ideology akin to Muslim Brotherhood?

Lyrics of BJP Ministers is in fact a matter of worry

BY ANJAN KUMAR SAMAL During an event in London, Rahul Gandhi said that for the first time in India, efforts are being made to take over the institutions. He said, "RSS wants to crush all other ideas in the nation. It is like the idea of the 'Muslim Brotherhood' of the Arab world. But many countries, including Bahrain, Egypt, Russia, Saudi Arabia and UAE, have declared it as a terrorist organization on charges and allegations of spreading violence and fanaticism. Rahul Gandhi, INC President, in his out of country media interview compared the RSS with Muslim Broth-

erhood in terms of spreading a message of violence in the name of religion. The BJP on the other hand, countered Rahul Gandhi's allegations and said that it was his immaturity, incompetence and malice. Rahul Gandhi had also earlier urged the foreign media that growing unemployment and the crunched economic policy of the present Indian government may lead our intolerant youth towards forming ISIS like organizations. Rahul Gandhi said this eyeing the growing mob lynchings in

India. The BJP spokesperson alleged that the Gandhi scion was incapable of becoming a good opposition leader, leave alone becoming the PM. Congress President Rahul Gandhi, who was targeting the Modi government from foreign soil, also blamed the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He compared the Sangh with the Muslim Brotherhood, which had been declared as a terrorist organization in several Arab countries. At an event in London,

Rahul Gandhi said that for the first time in India, efforts are being made to capture the institutions. He said that the RSS is trying to change the true nature of India. No other organization tries to capture or attack Indian institutions. However, parties like the Congress, SP, BSP and the DMK, do also after coming to power, try to overtake institutions. Rahul Gandhi said that minors and unemployed youth, who had been marginalized, were being recruited by terrorist organizations like the ISIS.

In between the growing ‘rape culture’ and fueling oil price , the BJP Ministers have expressed their thinking and mindset through their controversial leaders and relatives. In the case of rape, where the BJP legislator and the Union minister's wife said, Young people troubled by unemployment are raping. In Haryana, Premlata Singh BJP MLA and wife of union minister Birendra Singh has said that being harassed and frustrated by unemployment, young people are doing crimes like rape. A controversy arose with the statement of BJP leader in a mass rape case that took place on September 12 in Haryana's Rewari district.Interestingly he urged that now a day people's attitude to-

wards women is not appropriate and that is why this kind of decline and lack of morality in society is being observed across the country. These words have deteriorated in front of a private television channel after a program where he uttered that these kind of incidents are extremely worrisome as well as sad. On their statement, the opposition parties have started targeting the BJP. On the issue of sky rocketing petrol price, the Union Minister, Ramdas Athavale, put forwad his senseless statement that rising fuel price is not a matter of worry for him as he is a central minister of this country. When Athwale approached to attend a review meeting, the journalists asked him about the problem of high increasing oil price in the country. He again put forward his senseless statement, "I am not troubled by the rising prices of petrol and diesel. As I am minister ... if my Ministerial post shall be snatched from me, then I will get bothered”

Resplendent Growth of 2018’s HDI-Human Development Index in India: UNDP TAC NEWS HDI-Human Development Index is absolutely a truthful parameter that reflects the real socio-economic development of a country.HDI can be measured by checking three important facts on Ground .i.e.-Standard of Living with per capita Income, Level of Literacy in addition to check in the ‘Health is Wealth’ factor. Standard of Living in any nation’s life style is measured on the basis of per capita income and level of Literacy unveils the truth of Human Development and empowerment .On the other hand ,the Health and availability of Medical facilities reflects the Birth and Death rate which in Economics known as the Life Expectancy. Recently, a worldwide ranking lists on HDI has been released by UNDP-United Nations Development Programme. The said list has been done among 189 countries across the globe measuring the year from 1990 till 2018.A watchful eagle look with the mentioned parameters reflect the sour truth of un equal distribution in the facts of education, Life Expectancy, and per

capita income within a Country’s territory. Human Development Index (HDI) puts forward a way to compare a nation’s level of inequalities among the people and greater the inequality results descended HDI and lesser the inequality is just results it’s vice versa. India crossed all the above parameters that did level up the nation ranking 130 with a step ahead than

before among 185 countries around the world. In case of life expectancy India brightly showed the enhancement of 11 steps ahead in between 1990 to 2017 that means Life expectancy in India increased 11 years as per the UNDP’s ranking list. In regard to education and empowerment ,it was unearthed that schooling age of Indian born child significantly 3.4

years longer than the year 1990. In this regard to the steady increase in HDI of India ,UNDP – India Director Francis Pickup urged, “The Government of India is committed to improve the quality of life for all its people. The success of India’s national development schemes like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Swachh Bharat, Make in India, and initiatives aimed at universalizing school education and health care, will be crucial in ensuring that the upward trend on human development accelerates and also achieve the Prime Minister’s vision of development for all and the key principle of the Sustainable Development Goals -- to leave no one behind.” UNDP in this ranking of HDI ,opened up some progressive facts of South Asian and South East Asia Countries among which India has achieved this commendable rank of 130 since the year 1990 till 2017. The measurement of Human Development Index-HDI could able to unearth the variations of the quality of education ,Health Care and level of Per Capita Income across the Globe among as many as 189 countries.

South Asia experienced the fastest HDI growth among developing regions with a 45.3 percent increase since 1990 in Which the Progress of India in HDI is really laudable. Global labour force participation rates for women are lower than for men – 49 percent versus 75 percent. And when women are in the labour market, their unemployment rates are 24 percent higher than their male counterparts. Women globally also do much more unpaid domestic and care work than men. Violence against women affects all societies, and in some regions childhood marriage and high adolescence birth rates undermine the opportunities for many young women and girls. In South Asia, 29 percent of women between the ages of 20 and 24 were married before their 18th birthday. “While there is ground for optimism that the gaps are narrowing, disparities in people’s well-being are still unacceptably wide. Inequality in all its forms and dimensions, between and within countries, limits people’s choices and opportunities, withholding progress,” said Selim Jahan, Director of the Human Development Report Office at UNDP.

The public sector undertakings operated by the Central Government have lost Rs. 30 thousand crore in 2016-17. The surprise report of CAG on the condition of state-run companies has come to light. Most of the sick run-ups (PSUs) are plundering thousands of crores of rupees in the country. These public ventures owned by the Central Government are constantly writing a new script for the decline. You will be surprised to know that the figure of the losses of the government companies in the country has crossed one lakh crore rupees. In the current Narendra Modi government's tenure, every year 30 thousand crores have been lost. It has been revealed in the investigation by the country's largest audit agency, CAG. This report, presented in the monsoon session of Parliament, shows how poor public administration is reaching the verge of closure due to poor management. Government companies are running in deficit due to wrong management and other reasons. As per

the report, in 2014-15, 132 PSUs incurred a net loss of Rs. 30861 crore in the corresponding year. During this time, the total loss of these companies increased to one million crore i.e. 1,10805 crore. The next year the condition worsened. In 2015-16, 153 under trials had to bear an annual loss of Rs. 31,957 crore. In the meanwhile, the overall

Sewer cleaning employee in Saraswati Vihar, Gurugram.

TAC NEWS Five people in Chhattisgarh and one in Delhi have died due to suffocation in septic tank. This is not the first incident when employees were killed while cleaning the sewer. Necessary rules of cleanliness are done neither in government work nor during private work. Recently, the work of cleaning the sewer was done in Saraswati Vihar of Gurugram, in which the a labourer was forced do the manual scavenging without any life guard and tool.

As per the stricture of nation’s apex court during cleaning of sewer tank, oxygen cylinders, masks, gum shoes, safety belts and in emergency to inform the Ambulance at first need to be followed by the competent authorities. But despite of more than dozen of deaths all over the nation including the national capital it has been found that neither government nor any private agencies are following these rules which results the rampant manual scavenging every where in the country.

deficit was 104756 crore. In the same way, in the year 2016-17, net loss of companies was 30678 crore and the overall deficit was 104730 crore. However, in 2016-17, the companies improved slightly in 2015-16. Explained here is the net loss, which means the loss in the respective year and the total loss in terms of accu-

mulated loss. Accumulated loss is calculated based on the performance of companies from previous governments to the current government. The CAG has also formed a list of government companies that have suffered losses of more than Rs. 1000 crore. According to which, the highest loss was suffered by the Steel Authority of India in 2016-17. The company had to suffer a loss of Rs. 3187 crore this year. Likewise, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) got Rs. 2,941 crore, Hindustan PhotoFills Company Limited got 2917, Unitech India Insurance Company Limited got 1914, Oriental Insurance Company Limited got 1691 and National Steel Corporation Limited lost Rs. 1263 crore. It is a special thing that 41 out of the 173 government control companies lost a loss of 4308 crores in 2016-17. According to the data of March 31, 2017, there are 636 public enterprises companies (CPSEs) in the country. In which 438 government companies are listed, six statutory bodies and 192 companies are of other types of government control. In the report number 18 of 2019, the

CAG has scrutinized a total of 579 PSUs. Up to 30 September 2017, the CAG received an annual account of 544 CPSEs out of a total of 630. During this, the CAG examined the account of 332 CPEs. Under the Companies Act 2013, the CAG checked the working, rights and condition of these government companies. This report examines the financial condition of central government-owned companies and corporations. It is also investigated whether companies have been operating under SEBI regulations. The Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) has defined the definition of public undertakings in a report in January 2017. Here, CPSE is also a part of PSU. PSAU means that the public sector is underwriting, then CPSE means Central Public Sector Enterprises. Both are meant to be from governmentowned companies. According to the definition given in the Companies Act, 2013, the companies in which more than 50 percent equity shares are from the central government. If the subsidiaries of these companies are registered in the Government of India, they also classify them in CPSE.

Every Delhite is smoking 6-7 cigarettes a day including children KUMUD This is really a bad and unfortunate news for non-smoking children, old men and women in the National Capital for a breaking scientific research that unveiled a sour truth that even a Nonsmoker also indirectly smoke 6-7 cigarettes everyday even by an open breathe in the toxic air Condition of Delhi. Delhi’s doctors, scientists and environmentalists say that the level of air pollution in the national capital has reached the extent that the non-smokers are also smoking six to seven cigarettes daily when the non smoker comes out of home on the streets of Delhi. An Environmentalist, Jaidhaar Gupta told IANS: “PM 2.5 are nano particles, which are smaller than 2.5 microns, they are born from burning fuel, industrial pollution, smoke from vehicles. But the black carbon that sticks up is PM 2.5. It includes in the air of our National Capital. “ In this regard the said scientist further urged, “According to WHO standards, its safe level is 15 µg / cubic meter, whereas in 2016, the average of the year was 143 microgram per cubic meter, which was more than 90 percent. If the PM 2.5 level is 22 µgm / cubic meter, then it is equal to one cigarette. According to that, when the number is divided by 143, then about 6 to 7 cigarettes a day only when we breath. ” Jayadar Gupta said, “When winter starts burning and when its smoke arrive

Breathing in Delhi’s toxic air is equivalent to smoking 6-7 cigarettes a day even by those who don’t smoke including little children, women and elderly

also much in the air , the PM 2.5 level in the national capital reaches 1000 to 1200 microgram per cubic meter, then the number increases that is equal to 40 50 cigarette. “ On the question of protection from this dangerous air pollution, the environmentalist said, “The only way to avoid this is the N-95 mask, besides which people of Delhi have not any other option. If we have to finish it then only then can this situation be dealt with. “ He told that a few days ago, Dr.

Arvind Kumar, President of Long Care Foundation, had said that till 10 years ago, I used to see that 90 per cent of lung cancer cases were of those who smoked. But now its number is 50 percent. Because 50 per cent of the cases are coming to Non smokers who are suffering from lung cancer. Dr Kumar, in an interview with IANS, said: “Recently America’s Berkeley Earth Association has done a study, in which the ability of PM 2.5 to damage the lungs and other parts of the body, along with cigarette smoke, co- It was concluded that their 22-microgram cubit meter PM 2.5 is equal to one cigarette”. On the question of getting some help from the government in this matter, he said, “I do not know anything about what the government will do.Two-three years ago, Delhi’s Health Minister Satyendra Jain Called his office and said me for five lakh masks, when I asked what he would do with so many masks, he said that we will distribute it among the people to get rid immense air pollution level of the Capital City. “ He said, “On this I asked how many rupees had a mask if he wanted to say 10-15 rupees. Then I told him that he is fine, but what you are doing is only vote bank politics, because 10 to 15 rupees. The mask will not save anyone’s health, then it will be thrown into the trash, and it will be set in a sloping house and will be set on fire, which will cause more pollution, so I refused. ”

Hon’ble Prime Minister, Who are non-repatriated companies of Millions of bank Loans, Who are their Bosses?

Faridabad (NCR) 16-30 September, 2018 www.theasianchronicle.com

Can the prime minister of world’s largest Democracy take the names of those companies who took loan from the deposits of the Republic of India at cheap rates and did not care to return 10 lakh crore of loan to Bank? Can Finance Minister take the names of those companies? Can Amit Shah take the names? Can Rahul Gandhi or Mr. Chidambaram of Indian National Congress party take the names? When these leaders can not reveal

Ravish Kumar Ravish Kumar is an anchor with NDTV India.

the names of those escaped fugitives, then what is the matter being debated across the country? The people should understand that NPA dispute is being handled in the same way as the way Hindu-Muslim Controversy is created for the vested political interest. If this political controversy is an economic offence against the national interest, then should not their names be unearthed who left out of the country taking as much as 10 Lakh Crore of Public’s hard earned money using tactical means of escape velocity. Under whose rule the loan is given and how the loan was given has not mentioned at all. Now a day, every second leader claims himself to be a strong leader then why they afraid to tell who they are and which are these companies those did not repay millions of loans to our banks. Has our political parties accepted the slavery of these corporate Houses? Then how can you trust these political parties to save the great Indian democracy? Is not it embarrassing? Why does the Reserve Bank of India not ready to tell who are the loan defaulters? Why did the Reserve Bank even refuse to disclose

The people should understand that NPA dispute is being handled in the same way as the way Hindu-Muslim Controversy is created for the vested political interest. the names, while the Reserve Bank of India has ordered the names of any arbitrator to be printed with photographs in the newspaper. If you go and look in the banks yourself, I bet that you must not find. Has the Reserve Bank also got bogged down? In the Rafal case, Rahul Gandhi took the name of Ambani and his company. It is so rare that the leaders take the names of the owners of the companies who have attained the status of the family. But this is an exception. By doing this, the company files a case of defamation against a political party for 5000 million. Defamation is a new weapon for silence. But the Prime Minister is afraid of what. Amit Shah has said that the BJP will rule for 50 years. Then why don’t both the leader put forward the complete chart of this scam in front of people of India? Which company, How Much Loan, How much NPA and who are their owners along with at whose time of rule it happened? Ten lakh crores of public sector banks money have not been paid. This is called non-performing asset. In the Lok Sabha on April 6, 2018, Minister of State for Finance, Shiv Pratap Shukla had told that in March 2015, the NPA of the banks was 2 lakh 67 thousand crores

which turned 6 million 89 thousand crores on June 30, 2017. More than four lakh crores in two years. In whose government did this happen? How much loan was given in UPA and how much loan was given at the time of Modi Government? Isn’t it your right to know where the democratic government is other wise also known as , by the people, of the people and for the people? A banker has revealed that when loan is declared as NPA,the interest is not imposed on it. Therefore, the new amount of NPA you see is alike a new loan. If this is correct, then did NPA increase during Modi-Sarkaar?If it is truth, then is it absolutely loud and clear that the NPA increased hugely during ‘MODI-SARKAAR’in an unprecedented way? Do you know ,corporate loan defaulters at the time of UPA has given the loan again during NDA reign or denied ? Without knowing all this, what are you arguing about NPA? Has any political party guts to command their workers to show their posters sticking these fraud stars pic.on placards and posters who did not pay back the hard earned public money? Tearing posters and initiating protest against public meeting is quite easy but they can not able to do it.

Vijay Mallya will come to India tomorrow. After returning to home land, the government will show their victory over corruption. But there are also many other who had fled from the nation digesting people’s money through bank loans. Jatin Mehta has run away with a loan of Rs 6,712 crore. When will he come? What happened to Lalit Modi? The tale of Khusbah Narayan published in the Indian Express in the recent past.Nirvav Modi was trying to take citizenship of the country named Vanatu three months before he escaped. This is a small island. Tell us, all these are leaving the country and leaders are making people the people just fool. Mehul became a citizen of Surigao Antigua. The story of Lalit Modi disappeared both from the screen of electronic media and print media. In March 2018,a Press Conference of the Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri had appeared in the Hindu Business Line. Modi government’s minister Hardeep Puri had alleged that Congress helped Mehta escape. Mehta has given full details of when and how much loan was given by the bank between 2010 and 2013.Interestingly he is not the finance minister, he is the urban development minister of this country.

According to him, Jayesh Mehta had taken citizenship of Saint Kitts and Nevis on November 10, 2012. In December 2014, Jatin Mehta surrendered India's passport in front of the Indian High Commission in Singapore. If the Congress government helped Jatin Mehta to escape, then Lalit Modi, Nirav Modi, Mehul Chowkishi, Vijay Mallya, without help of any body, how could leave the country taking ran a loan of 13, 500, 9000 crores? Secondly, this press conference also proves that when the government avails the space to save it’s reputation, it tells the name of one or two names of defaulters and the amount of loan and even when the loan is given. Then why are the Prime Ministers of India not taking names of these companies and their owners, why Amit Shah and Rahul Gandhi are not unveiling the names they know? If this debate is being made without any name, then it is better to switch off the TV and turned down the News Paper. Translated from the Hindi original by Anjan K Samal.

They allege that the government is doing this only to get the minorities out of the state. Minorities organizations have alleged that the process of confirming citizenship is not impeccable.
