Xtreme Wings -N- Things Reopening Party

e’ve all been out riding on these beautiful
days without our normal watering holes as stops. It made for some plan changes and hopefully new roads and scenic destinations were found. Much to our pleasure Xtreme Wings -N- Things along with some other NC business were allowed to reopen their doors May 22nd at 5pm. Opening wasn’t easy with the smothering
restrictions that are in place, rules and warnings, which don’t sit well with bikers, were posted and shared as to what you could expect, like lower occupancy numbers and smaller menus. But the Xtreme team worked it out to make the best reopening that could be had. The sun was out on Saturday, May 23rd so I figured that Xtreme would be a good destination for the afternoon. When I turned onto Myer Lee Dr. I could see the line of bikes parked in the street 100 yards away. A beautiful, gleaming row of chrome on either side of the street in front of the business was a great sight. I pulled down into Smokin’ Harley-Davidson’s parking lot who shares the building with Xtreme Wings- N- Things and walked up the walkway to join the party. Guitar Dave was set up on the side of the building playing his ass off like usual. Dave is a hell of a showman and keeps the crowd going. He took a break in the song to announce that the “Carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine was in the house”, thanks, as always, Dave! Xtreme had roped off their parking lot to extend their patio and allow for more patrons to safely gather. Biker Gear and More was set up under their huge tent and were hocking all kinds of biker needs. I’m always on the hunt for cool pins and patches, so I gave them a look. To further accommodate the crowd there was an outside beer tub with ice cold beer that can only
