Letter From The Editor #263 of the Carolinas ‘Full Throttle Magazine. In spite of all the cancelations and postponements, life goes on. This in no way means that we are diminishing the effect that this “pandemic” has had on some people and our country in general, but it does seem like we are beginning to realize the easing of some of the draconian “Executive Orders” that, arguably, have caused more damage than the virus itself. In North Carolina, Governor Cooper, has finally granted his permission to begin “Phase Two” of his recovery plan. I cannot go into all the details, but it has allowed more businesses to open, with restrictions, of course. That has provided some relief to certain businesses and that is good news for everyone. Many “bikers” have been out and about enjoying their expanded opportunities to socialize within the “guidelines.” In South Carolina, we understand that there has been more progress made toward returning to “normal” and we are getting reports of many people riding to Myrtle Beach for some recreational time. Good for all of you! I am trying not to make this a political statement nor belittlement of anyone. If you are not comfortable, please exercise your right to stay at home or to venture out to whatever degree you are comfortable. It may be different for everyone. That being said, please respect each other’s choices so as many as possible can feel comfortable in each setting. Moving on, we would like to invite everyone to come out on June16th when the Carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine will host our first bike night of 2020 at 711 West Main Street in Jamestown, NC. From 6-9pm, with free beer, music, vendors, best bike on the lot contest, and more. See the ad in this issue or visit FullThrottleMagazine.com for more information. We hope that you will join us on June 16th for a “freedom” party” Hopefully, we may even be in “Phase Three” by then and more “restrictions” will be lifted. At any rate, we hope to see you then and, as always, be careful out there. ou are reading issue
