The South Carolina Biker Hall Of Fame Induction Party 2021 By: Lincoln Infield here are exemplary people in all arenas of life and
sacred halls in which these people are enshrined. Cleveland has the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame, Canton has Pro Football Hall Of Fame, Cooperstown hosts the Baseball Hall Of Fame, but Murrells Inlet is the home of the SC Bikers Hall Of Fame. Designated for bikers who have made an impact on the people and communities of the great state of South Carolina, the SC Bikers Hall Of Fame is housed in none other than Suck Bang Blow, the most famous biker bar in the world. It was probably a week before the induction when Wahl E. Walker called us up at Carolinas’ Full Throttle HQ to make sure we were coming down to take in the festivities. Well let’s see: a Saturday Night at SBB, SC Biker Hall Of Fame and a personal invitation from the oldest living Wall of Death rider. How do you turn that down? Did I mention, SBB was serving steak dinner? Yeah…the deal is sealed. It was a beautiful day to ride to Myrtle Beach, but since I was bringing down 30+ more bundles of magazines to restock, I was on four wheels, cussin’ all the lucky assholes that got to ride that day. but like I said, it was a beautiful day. Dinner was at 6, or so I thought, I showed up and looking for a table when I got stopped by the Legendary Brother Speed, who was not only part of the HOF class of 2014 but has been riding hard

since time began and has all the stories that go along with that achievement. Next thing ya know, I was shaking hands with Wahl E. Walker and talking about his time riding the Wall. Wahl E. has been thrilling crowds and keeping this historical piece of motorcycle folk lore alive since 1985. Hell of a good guy, Wahl E. even invited me to party and camp in the Wall Of Death if I ever needed a place to crash at a rally. Cuss yeah! They say things happen in threes, so when I turned around, I ran into Judy Ellis of In The Wind Bar (Huntersville, NC) who was down there with a friend and her other half Bert Patterson of In the Wind Too ( Garden City, SC ). It’s always good to catch up with friends and see some familiar faces! It wasn’t long before SC Biker HOF founder and SBB events coordinator, Bill Barber took the stage to introduce the event, get the band and the night started. By now, the bar area was full of folks, the waitresses were taking dinner orders and the ever-present clanking of empty beer bottles was only topped by the band cranking up. Joe Santana’s Kingfish usually play the induction ceremony party, but due to some scheduling difficulties they were unavailable, and the Winchesters took up the cause and put on a hell of a quality show. The bar area was dressed up for the occasion and tables were reserved for the 2021 inductees and other biker community dignitaries. As before mentioned, SBB had steak dinner on the menu that night with local shrimp, salads and other tasty options. The Winchesters serenaded the diners with some good old outlaw country. When the first set was over, Bill took the stage again to induct the first two members of the 2021 HOF Class. First up was Bill Fuller, a legislative warrior who has fought for the rights of South Carolina bikers in the Continued On Page 28
