Garlic Lemon Green Beans These Garlic Lemon Green Beans are the perfect side dish or a healthy snack! Ingredients: • 1.5 lb green beans, cleaned and trimmed • 1-2 tbsp olive oil (depending on pan size; enough to cover pan and coat green beans) • 4 tbsp butter, salted • 4 tbsp fresh lemon juice • ½ tsp garlic powder or more according to taste • A few pinches of salt and ground black pepper to taste Directions: 1. Prepare a large bowl of ice water and set aside. 2. In a large pot of boiling, salted water, cook green beans for approximately 3 minutes. 3. Drain beans and then transfer them to the bowl of ice water. 4. Allow beans to cool completely and once cool, drain beans and proceed to next steps. 5. Beans can be stored – (covered) in refrigerator for a couple of days until ready to finish cooking. 6. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add green beans and butter to pan, tossing to coat with oil and butter. Add lemon juice, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Continue to toss, and cook for about 3 minutes. 7. Add additional salt and pepper as needed to taste.

A subterrene is a type of tunneling machine, similar to that of a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM). A subterrene works by utilizing forward pressure and massive amounts of heat to push through rock. Patents issued in the 1970s show that U.S. scientists had planned on utilizing nuclear power to liquefy lithium metal and circulate it to the front of the machine. The process is supposed to be cheaper and the benefit of the initial tunnel liner also helps reduce costs as it is beneficial as is. The machines use a lot of energy, though, and their safety and reliability is unknown.
