PROGRESS MADE? “I beg you, please spread my story! It might serve as a lesson for others, especially Chatzos partners.” That was the request in a message we received a short while ago. The story relates to a distinguished talmud chacham who was unfortunately going through a hard time with his daughter, who had fallen in with a wrong group of friends. Within a short time she was behaving and dressing inappropriately, much to the dismay and anguish of her worried parents. In response, they turned to “Kollel Chatzos” and signed up as yearly partners and submitted their daughter’s name for a positive transformation. “The Zohar Hakodesh writes that through the power of chatzos you will merit pious children” the man continued “have her in mind, learn and pray for her, that she should be pulled out of this dark abyss”. Being enrolled as chatzos partners for an extended period, they had the opportunity to “interchange” the names and requests. After a month, seeing no progress and no improvement in the situation, they decided to change the name to their son, who was in need of assistance at the time. A short while later, he called us back with a new request: “I made a mistake! I want to add to my partnership and resubmit my daughter’s name!” He told us
that he had just completed a conversation with a counselor who was working with his daughter and her friend, and relayed that although there seemed to be no improvement with the “friend”, their daughter was making strides for the better! “Charge my card” he concluded “because I want to keep both of my kids on your list. With “Kollel Chatzos’s” help we have seen tremendous miracles for our children!” Topic Source: They will Merit Holy and Pious Children! ()זוהר הק' ויקרא י"ב

The Baal Shem Tov’s Whisper (2) Continued from yesterday: The Chassidim approached the simple Yid at the inn and ask him to share with them what the Baal Shem tov whispered in his ear… The man grew decidedly uncomfortable and after a few minutes hesitation he agreed to divulge his story. “I live in little town and my best friend lives opposite me. He is a peddler and travels a lot to the surrounding areas to sell his wares. Whenever he returns from a long journey, we, his friends and neighbors gather at his house to welcome him back. One time after a unusably long trip, I went over to welcome him. I was the first guest and the house was empty. His wife mentioned that he was not home but would be right back. I wanted to smoke my pipe while I waited and I opened the cupboard where he kept his tobacco. Yet, the first thing that caught my eye was his wallet which was full of money. I was shocked that my friend left his wallet so exposed and decided to teach him a lesson and put it in my pocket. I thought then he would see its missing, I would give it right back just so he would learn how to look after his money. I waited a while but my friend did not return. I returned to my house to take care of a few things. Meanwhile, things did not go as planned. My friend returned home and discovered his missing wallet. He shouted and screamed and his wife burst into tears.

The whole family turned the house upside down as they searched for the missing wallet. I returned to my friend’s house and a heavy sadness prevailed. I did not have the courage to confess what I had done and figured I would return the wallet at a more suitable time. Yet one day followed another and soon several months had passed an opportunity to return the wallet never arose. My friend was struggling financially and I became afraid to return the wallet for the fear of being labeled a thief. After much time, I did not know what to do and decided to invest the money in some profitable enterprise. I resale I could not do this in my town as everyone knew my financial situation. I decided to go off to a distant location and invest the money. I arrived in this town at the time of the wedding. When the Baal Shem Tov saw me last night he whispered into my ear, “It’s not too late to rectify. Go home and return the money. I promise that your friend will believe you. If necessary, I will even come and testify what your true intention was. Yet, don’t delay, if yes, it may just be too late.” After hearing his words, I felt instantly relieved, I am now setting out to return home and do exactly as the Baal Shem Tov instructed me. Magnesium May Be More Important to Kids’ Bone Health than Calcium
“Lots of nutrients are key for children to have healthy bones. One of these appears to be magnesium,” said lead author Steven A. Abrams MD, FAAP, professor of pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. “Calcium is important, but, except for those children and adolescents with very low intakes, may not be more important than magnesium.”
were given scales to weigh their child’s food for three days at home after the first inpatient stay and for three days at home prior to the second inpatient stay so that dietary intake of calcium and magnesium could be calculated accurately. While hospitalized, children’s levels of calcium and magnesium were measured. Bone mineral content and density were measured using total body dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry.
TIP!
While it is known that magnesium is important for bone health in adults, few studies have looked at whether magnesium intake and absorption are related to bone mineral content in young Want a healthier alternative children. This study aimed to to soda? Try 1 oz. of apple fill that gap.
cider vinegar with cold
Results showed that the amounts of magnesium consumed and absorbed were key predictors of how much bone children had. Dietary calcium intake, however, was not significantly associated with total bone mineral content or density.
Researchers recruited 63 carbonated water & some healthy children ages 4 to 8 stevia or other sweetener! years old who were not taking any multivitamins or minerals to participate in the study. “We believe it is important Children were hospitalized overnight twice for children to have a balanced, healthy so their calcium and magnesium levels diet with good sources of minerals, could be measured. including both calcium and magnesium,” Participants filled out food diaries prior to hospitalization. All foods and beverages served during their hospital stay contained the same amount of calcium and magnesium they consumed in a typical day based on the diaries. Foods and beverages were weighed before and after each meal to determine how much calcium and magnesium the subjects actually consumed. In addition, parents
Dr. Abrams concluded.

Despite 89% of wine in the US being produced in California, all 50 states produce wine! While America may not be known for it’s fabulous wine, every single state produces, or attempts to produce, different wines. European settlers first introduced wine in North America over 300 years ago. Although there are grapes native to the continent, the majority of the wine produced comes from the European grape strain Vitis vinifera, which led to the growth of the wine making industry. America is the fourth largest wine producing country in the world, surpassed only by France, Italy, and Spain. While eighty-nine percent of all wine in the country is made in California, wine production throughout the country has been steadily growing. American wines were never considered fine wines, but recently native products, especially from California, have been increasingly competing with fine European wines.
