The Missing Watch Farmer Duncan noticed to his immense disappointment that he had lost his watch in the barn. He was deeply distressed as the watch carried much sentimental value. After searching thoroughly among the hay to no avail, he decided to enlist the assistance of the children playing outside the barn. He promised that whoever found the watch would be greatly rewarded.

The children hurried inside the barn and searched through the entire mound of hay but they still could not find the watch. Just when the farmer and the children were giving up, a little boy approached the farmer and asked to be given another chance.

The boy replied, “I didn’t really do anything but just sat on the ground and listened and in the silence, I heard the clock ticking and then searched in that direction!”

A peaceful mind can think and work better than a mind full of worry and stress – give yourself a few minutes of silence and relaxation each day and you will see how you will be able to shift your focus and enjoy life to its fullest!

The farmer gave his permission and allowed the little boy back into the barn.

After a short while, the boy came out with the farmer’s watch in his hand. The farmer was ecstatic and also surprised how the boy had succeeded where the rest of them had failed.

D.I.Y Bath Tub Paint Recipe Let the bath time fun begin….

Ingredients: • 1 cup dish detergent* • 1/2 cup cornstarch • 1/2 cup boiling water • Food Coloring (liquid kind is best) NOTE: *Antibacterial scented hand soap can also be used.

Remember, you kids will coat themselves with the substance so ensure that you use a brand that they are not allergic to.

Directions: In a sauce pan, mix the cornstarch into the hot water until it is dissolved and the consistency is pasty. Add the soap and mix until there are no chunks. Leave heat on medium until the mixture boils. NOTE: The soap should have a gel-like consistency as it cools. Add the food coloring and store in an airtight container. The paint may separate slightly when stored, so be sure to stir before use. Test the paint on a patch of your tub to ensure that your food coloring does not stain and have fun!

Google is helping track animal poachers in Africa!

Google is slowly integrating themselves into every opportunity involving technology, which is an excellent business move in this day and age. The $5 Million donation was a part of Google’s Global Giving Awards to help develop a software that uses UAV drones to scan areas in Africa and Asia notorious for poaching.

Poaching (hunting endangered animals) has become such an issue in the world that it’s estimated that between $7 to $10 billion worth of poached goods are sold on the international market every year. The World Wildlife Fund recognized this problem, and started the program in 2012, with the help of Nepal.

With the help of Google’s money, the project has expanded to having unmanned drones scan a region for any sort of large groups of life forms. The drone will then send an alarm to people monitoring the drones cameras, and inspect the situation to see if local authorities need to be contacted!
