Betty Bauman, Ladies Let’s Go Fishing Founder, Wins Women Rocking the Web Award

etty Bauman, Founder of Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing (LLGF) was honored with the Women Rocking the Web award presented by WE Magazine and Women in Ecommerce, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The award was made to women who promote their organizations on the web using a variety of online strategies. WE magazine is published by Women in Ecommerce, the hub for women and organizations seeking to take their business to the next level. Betty Bauman commented, “I’m excited to be recognized for our immense online effort to locate and engage women interested in fishing and boating! Reaching aspiring anglers entails a creative strategy to target this elusive and valuable target, offering a great potential to increase the fishing and boating industries.” She continued, “Fishing provides quality time to spend with family and friends while engaging in a wholesome sport. Other benefits are the chance to focus on nature and escape everyday stress.” Bauman is the Founder of Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing, an organization whose mission is to engage and retain female anglers through educational programs including classes, hands-on practice, networking and a fishing experience. The org also conducts multiple virtual meetings with an educational and conservation element. Generating more than 9,000 graduates, LLGF is supported by sponsors and donors.
