What’s Happening
CRESSWIND LADIES GOLF CLUB By Jill Loftus
Even when we are not playing golf, we are still playing golf. The Ladies Golf Club had a wonderful Christmas Party at Top Golf in Buford. We enjoyed seeing who could actually get the ball in the highest scoring hole and a wonderful lunch was provided by Top Golf. We had a White Elephant exchange which consisted of old golf equipment that you have not been using. It was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The Ladies Golf Club hosted our annual kick-off meeting February 7th at 11am. If you ever wanted to play golf or you haven’t played in years this is the group of Ladies you want to join. We have fun, we have laughs and we learn a little bit about golf. This 2022 season we will be playing at Royal Lakes Country Club in Oakwood. Our first T-time is around 10am. We play nine holes, sometimes we add a game to our play,
it may be best ball, closest to the pin, who kept the ball in the fairway etc. All for fun. Many of us get together for lunch either at the club or another restaurant afterwards. Plans are being made to occasionally play at Chattahoochee Golf Club with an 8am T-time. Nine and Dine will be taking place at Chattahoochee Golf Club. So, bring your husband or date for this event. It’s nine holes of play followed by a wonderful meal served at the club by a brand-new chef. More details on this to follow. Some of us keep score, some don’t, it doesn’t matter. We are out there to have fun and enjoy the sport. Please let us know if you would like to join us. Contact: Jill_Pastrick@yahoo.com.

Joninas, Treasurer -- Denise Samples. Our terrific group of board members have met and are planning some fun and creative activities for this year. Our “Kick Off Event” was an evening to Meet and Mingle at Cork It on the Gainesville Square. It was a fun time to re-connect, laugh, and share a glass of wine and stories with friends. We participated in our Cresswind Mardi Gras Parade and added some fun to the festivities. A few of our club ideas for this year include table decorating tips, a visit to Gibbs Gardens with lunch, attending a local theater performance, a styling in our jean’s presentation, our annual trip to AmericasMart Atlanta, and our Fall Fashion Show. So come join the fun and continue enjoying your Living Stylishly events with your wonderful Cresswind friends and neighbors. Dues -- $5 for the year, please make check payable to LSWN and drop in Living Stylishly mailbox in Clubhouse. Remember: good times with fun friends make the best memories!
