FESTIVE SEASON WITHOUT THE FUSS

We, the ladies of Wanaka Upper Clutha Lions, would like to take some of the stress out of preparing for the festive season.

These Christmas Cakes are made exclusively for Lions by the well known New Zealand Company Couplands and they mean no more shopping for ingredients, no more soaking the dried fruit, no more making the cake and worrying whether it will turn out or not. All you have to decide is whether you want to ice it or not. As well as meeting your personal needs, these lovely cakes make great Christmas presents for family and friends as well as the ideal rewards for your staff. Through these fund-raising projects and your generosity, the Wanaka Upper Clutha Lions Club are able to support groups in our Community.

In the last two months, we have donated to the local Gymnastic Club, the Mount Aspiring Sailing Team and to one of our local talented skiers. All the profit from this project goes into meeting Community needs.

You can order the cakes directly, or they will be on sale at the Wanaka hub, the Wanaka Sunday Markets on 17 and 24 November, Aspiring Village Market on Friday 6 December and the Luggate Market on 15 December.
