I want to put Umeboshi in all onigiri!! I like Ume onigiri among onigiri the best. Do you know umeboshi? It’s salted plum in English. Umeboshi has good points for your health. Ume onigiri means umeboshi put in onigiri. Umeboshi is so salty and sour. But the taste fits rice very much. My favorite kind of Umeboshi is made by my grandmother. My grandmother makes it every year. The Umeboshi is much sourer than any umeboshi I have eaten. But the taste becomes addictive.
Now Ume onigiri sells the most at the convenience stores. I like Ume onigiri in Seven Eleven the best in all convenience stores. Seven Eleven’s onigiri is good proportion in rice and umeboshi. And the convenience store is delicious for crispy seaweed. It wasn’t crispy when I always make onigiri that is covered with seaweed. And the seaweed is flavored at Western Japan. In East Japan the seaweed isn’t flavored at the same convenience stores. I’m happy to live in West Japan. I sometimes buy it. I get a craving to eat this occasionally. The onigiri is charming for me.
