MISSION STATEMENT
Timuquana will offer its members, their families and guests exceptional social, golf and recreational experiences, which foster enduring friendships and preserve community.
The holiday season is upon us once again and soon the Club will be adorned with our beautiful, grand Christmas decorations. From Thanksgiving to New Year’s, we have special events planned for every member of the family to enjoy, including our annual Open House Party on Wednesday, December 4. Make sure you read through our Club communications, so you don’t miss out on the many festive events we offer to celebrate the best time of the year. Please take the time to enjoy this edition of the newsletter and all it has to offer.
This is also the time of year that our TCC staff enjoys the warmth of generosity from our kind and caring membership through the contributions made to our annual Christmas Fund. This wonderful Club tradition means a great deal to all of our employees, whether they are new to the TCC family or have been with us for several decades. This year we celebrate a number of our senior staff members who have reached important milestones of service, including Alan Brown, Kelly Woody and Rusty Nicholas. Their individual contributions over the years have made a considerable impact on the membership and their fellow team members, and their longevity is a true testament to the strong culture that has been built at TCC.
Additionally, I want to thank those who generously contributed to our Timuquana Cares Employee Foundation, our 501(c)(3) tax deductible organization, now in its third year. As of the writing of this, I am proud to announce that through that effort last month, the Fund raised $37,425 and now has a total value of $125,000. These funds will be allocated for employee and employee-family academic scholarships, as well as aid to our staff in times of extreme financial crisis. Through our members generosity, we have been able to expand our scholarship program to include a spring scholarship opportunity in addition to our fall program.
In keeping with our holiday tradition, we will take the opportunity at our annual employee appreciation breakfast on November 27 to recognize staff who have reached significant milestones of employment at Timuquana Country Club. Below are the names, along with their years of service, of the 2024 recipients. Please be sure to thank them for all of their hard work and dedication over the years!
Again, on behalf of the staff of the Club, thank you for your support and generosity this Christmas season and all year long. We hope you enjoy the many Club offerings available to you this winter.
Respectfully,
Greg Sheara General Manager
From the Membership Office
Kate Nolte, Director of Membership and Employee Engagement
This time of year is always a great reminder to reflect and to be thankful for the people who matter most in our lives. At Timuquana, we’re thankful for our members and the generations of families who share in the memories made here at the Club.
We’re also grateful for all of the new member families who’ve joined the Club this year. As of October, we have welcomed 22 new families and have a total of 30 on our waitlist. This is a true testament to the exemplary service and offerings we are honored to provide to our members and their families. I continually hear from so many that what brought them to TCC was our warm welcoming membership and staff, friends and family, and the sense of warm hospitality that feels like home when they are here.
Although we do have families on the waitlist, we still encourage prospective members to apply. Completed applications are held in the order of which they are received, securing a place on the preliminary list. Once a date becomes available, prospective members are invited to attend a lunch or dinner with two members of the Membership Committee with the Board Cocktail Reception the following month.
Sponsors and applicants are always welcome to contact the Membership Office for an update on their estimated wait time. These wait times are only an estimate and cannot be guaranteed. If you have questions or would like to sponsor a new member, feel free to contact me at knolte@timuquana.net.

Customs and Traditions Reminder
We would like to share a friendly reminder about some of our policies and expectations when enjoying a dining experience in the Pow Wow Room. Please remember that members are responsible for the actions of their family and guests and should remind them of the Club’s policies ahead of visiting the Club.
Care of Children
• Children 9 years of age and younger must be in the care and supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.
• In the Pow Wow Family Dining Room, please be courteous to other members dining. We ask that children remain at their table and should not be running about the dining room unattended. Also, please aid the staff in keeping tables neat and the floors free from excessive waste.
Dress Code
• Collared shirts and ladies’ equivalent dress required for members and guests after 5:30 p.m., with the exception of children 12 years of age and younger.
• Gentlemen must remove hats while in the dining room. Ladies do not need to remove dress hats, but other hats should be removed.
Cell Phones
The use of cell phones and similar devices should be conducted in a way that is respectful to others. All electronic devices must be placed on silent while on Club property. Silent communications, such as text messaging and emailing, are permitted. Voice communications are not permitted in the Clubhouse with the exception of private function rooms.
Thank you for helping us ensure that all members have an enjoyable experience with their families and guests.

FROG SONG ORGANICS PARTNERSHIP
At TCC we are committed to providing our members with the best-quality food options with the freshest flavors, which is why we are partnering with Frog Song Organics. Frog Song is a diversified, certified organic production farm, focused on providing high-quality, nutrient dense, and flavorful food to the community. They also support a dozen or more regional organic farms through a partner producer program and serve as a food hub to help other growers distribute their product to local farmers markets and restaurants. Keep your eyes on our weekly specials and Chef’s Features section to see how Chef Lewis is using the local produce.
ALLOCATED BOURBON CLUB
Don’t miss the opportunity to become a member of our exclusive Allocated Bourbon Club. We have room for only 20 people to secure a taste of some of the rarest and most allocated bourbons in the world. Every 2 months a new bottle will be available to Allocated Bourbon Club members only. If you were to find each one of the bottles offered in the wild, be prepared to spend more than $25,000 to secure them. Each member will get a 1oz pour from each bottle. The annual membership is $525 per person. To join, email Simon Muldoon at smuldoon@timuquana.net. Memberships can be purchased beginning Friday, November 1.

We had another phenomenal week for our fourth annual Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS event. It was another surreal week seeing numerous Hall of Famers and some of the greatest players to ever play the game compete at our course. It was another historical week for our Club and one we should all be proud of. We look forward to another exciting and fun filled week next fall as Rocco Mediate comes back to Timuquana to defend his title as the Constellation FURYK & FRIENDS champion.
As a reminder, Daylight Savings time ends Sunday, November 3. Beginning on this day, the Golf Shop hours will be 7 a.m.–5 p.m.

Trainer Tip
Why Should We Warm Up Before a Workout?
A proper warm-up helps transition your body from everyday activity to athletic performance. The goal? To optimize your workout. A good warm-up does more than raise your body temperature—it enhances joint mobility, coordination, and overall athleticism. It also adds variety to your routine, helping you build a well-rounded body that’s not only stronger and better-looking but also more mobile and agile. Aim to complete your warm-up in under 10 minutes.
A complete warm-up consists of three key components:
• Activation Exercises: Glute Bridges, Bodyweight Squats, Plank to Downward Dog, Arm Circles
• Mobility Exercises: Hip Circles, Leg Swings, Thoracic Spine Rotations, Ankle Rolls
• Potentiation Exercises: Jump Squats, High Knees, Bounding, Power Skips
