I hope you all are having a good time relaxing and enjoying yourself. If you are busy with a job or school work, you can do it! Make sure get started on community service hours by attending service events. Sheldon will also be having a Snobites fundraiser and a summer social this month, so look forward to that! Again, I hope you all are having an amazing summer and stay safe on 4th of July!

Happy reading,

Monsters of the Month

Member and officer of the month Member of the Month - Michelle Nguyen Michelle Nguyen truly plants the seeds of service in not only hers, but everyone's daily lives. She is always present at our club meetings no matter how small or big they are. She is one of the most dedicated members of our club as she always comes to our community service events even if she is the only one in her group of friends that is going. She is a flower that just blossomed after her first year in Key Club. During appointed officer interviews, everyone in the waiting room could see her love and dedication-- her intense studying, her eyes glued to her goals. Unfortunately, she was not appointed, but that is because there are higher heights which she will soar to. Ultimately, she is a member who is often times unrecognized, but is destined for a beautiful future in service. Page 16

Officer of the Month - tracy ly Tracy Ly is a girl who does not sleep. School is over, so you would think that life is much easier. Instead, this girl drowned herself in her Key Club duties. As a newly appointed BE, she worked extremely hard night and day to ensure her first newsletter was gold. Sometimes, she would stay up late as 3 AM. Of course, she hit many obstacles, such as having so few pictures and so little time, but that did not stop her. In about a week, she completed June's Monsters’ Mark. Not only did she revolutionize the layout and entire Sheldon newsletter format, but she made it so inclusive that everyone in our club was about to enjoy every aspect of it. She even did her research and made sure that she could qualify for distinguished newsletter at DCON. In addition to her excelling officer qualities, this girl is a golden friend. Staying up late to reply to officer texts, emotional support, team cooperation... Man, does this girl have it all.
