In The Arms of Now Angels Happy Beautiful Christmas
In adventurous lands yonder our very own existence, lives a place where milkshake rivers run from high top mountains capped with snow and Ice. This special place is naturally prone to pine cones falling from trees covered in warm coconut sprinkling ready to eat. Many residents there use Christmas trees for transport locally and beyond. It is known that the trees vary from Spruce, to Fir, Canaan, and Concolor. The powerful evergreen is favourite to those who dwell in these lands. it is favourite due to its high-powered speed and how it sings merry as it goes. Collecting those warm coconut pine cones as it passes by to keep fuelled and bellies full. The evergreen is driven by the Christmas messengers. Speed, song, style and Christmas magic is much needed for the job that is so very important.
This job is the gift of giving. The gifts of sharing, The gifts of surprise. The very folk of the lands we speak off have a different view and carry many different virtues that they see as the truest of gifts. These gifts are ones that last lifetimes. They don’t just tire of gadgets and stuff, oh no not these folk.
Allow me to introduce MARIE, FRONT RUNNING ANGEL OF HOPE. JACKIE FRONT RUNNING ANGEL OF PEACE. SABRINA FRONT RUNNING ANGEL OF JOY. TREVOR FRONT RUNNING ANGEL OF LOVE.
These Christmas angels absolutely believe in the many offerings of our world and know they are to be enjoyed. Having said this, they are also of the strong belief that in order to really enjoy what our world has to offer we would benefit greatly in taking a moment to hear what they have to give. Christmas time and the new year await, so lets all listen up and see what great gifts are offered right now to you and to me.
MARIE, THE FRONT RUNNER OF HOPE. This gift she wants to offer is wrapped in abundance for every path walked and action taken. The angel of HOPE allows us all to receive a gentle warmth when, “Baby its cold outside” attitude.
She offers immense instrumental spirit and allows us to dance. More importantly she delights in us hoping for others to get what they need not what they want. The want is given when the need is understood. She offers us a strangers smile in the hope of restoration in each other. Her greatest hope is the offering of light over dark. When Marie is near, Hope is the gift she offers, and she hope you take it no matter what your circumstances.
JACKIE, THE FRONT RUNNER OF PEACE. What a gift to receive the magic of nothing and quite all round. The observation of stillness and
near, joy is laughing its way towards you, and will have you on playful ventures, be it adult or child.
the sights to be seen. PEACE brings you and me in a far of green where right or wrong do not belong. Freedom is tranquil and disturbance no more. She offers you to yourself, what a gift to get to know. This angel gives a wink of ok-ness and off we go. Harmonious. When Jackie is near, Peace is her gift to you in abundance once more take to see what is precious all around.
SABRINA, THE FRONT RUNNER OF JOY. Who can argue that this gift is one that brings everyone together. It is for sure certainly contagious. The crankiest of cranks smile secretly when joy is around and very apparent. It is unavoidable when present. JOY, Well lets be serious when joy is not meant to be serious yet serious it is. The encouragement of fun, laughter, and waiting in awe. The only seriousness in joy is getting to know it full stop. Thereafter you can have it anywhere at any time. When Sabrina is
TREVOR, THE FRONT RUNNER OF LOVE. Now he is the angel that offers many, the love to others, the love to life, the love to strangers, his most Imperative offering is the love he wants you to have for yourself. Loving your very own home, the home you live in with every breath you take. The home within. When you can love you, he offers the outpouring of love for others. Love has many measures; its intentions however are always just love. It is deep and wide and has room for absolutely everyone. The first room is to unlock your own. Love you and you will love in many different ways thereafter. When Trevor is near, Love is breathtakingly all round. It can hit sudden and profound. Let’s face it all together love is what makes the world go round. And so, it goes another year has passed and Christmas time at last with great festivities and gifts galore. It has been a pleasure this morning to wake to the frost and have HOPE, in my heart, with peace as I pour my coffee and the joyful thoughts ebb and flow. Love overwhelms me in many different measures. It has been my pleasure to tell you of the lands far from here. The adventurous legends that I have just shared. Now it’s up to you this Christmas and new year, in adults, and children and the children in adults go forth on evergreen trees and milkshake rivers, with pine cone coconuts and magical mountaintops BE HOPEFUL WITH PEACE AND LOOK FORWARD TO JOY, LOVE AS YOU GO WITH A TWINKLE IN YOUR EYE.

Snooker Legends In New Year’s Exhibition Match For Local Cancer Support Charity
SNOOKER legends, Ken Doherty and Jimmy White, are gearing up for a very special New Year’s reunion in Killarney in January as they take part in a charity exhibition match in aid of Recovery Haven Kerry Cancer Support House.
The renowned snooker legends will appear at Killarney’s Eviston House Hotel on Monday, January 2nd for this very special event, organised by local man Connie O’Sullivan and hotel owner Patrick Eviston. Patrick wanted to host the event in memory of his late wife Linda, who received valuable support form Recovery Haven prior to her death.
Tickets for the event are already selling quickly, with two ticket options available: a standard entry ticket priced at €20 or a VIP ticket for €50, which entitles the buyer to a meet-and-greet with the players prior to the match, as well as priority seating.
The event also marks the 25th anniversary of Ken Doherty’s World Championship win, with the Dubliner is set to bring along his coveted trophy on the night.
As well as the match itself, there will also be a raffle on the night in aid of
Recovery Haven Kerry, featuring a host of keenly sought-after items, including a signed cue from each player, as well as a cue signed by the late, great, Alex Higgins.
Thanking organisers Connie and Patrick for choosing Recovery Haven Kerry as the beneficiaries of this exciting event, PRO Marisa Reidy said that there is huge excitement around the meeting of two great legends.
“When Connie came to us and explained what he had been planning we were absolutely delighted to be part of it. We only announced the event a few days ago and already people are really excited about it and cannot wait to see two such legends of the game in Killarney town,” she said.
The action gets underway at 8pm sharp, with the VIP reception kicking off at 7pm. Tickets are now available online at www.ticketstop.ie (search Ken Doherty & Jimmy White) or from Recovery Haven Kerry, The Eviston House Hotel, the Cue Club Killarney and Tralee Snooker Club.

Tralee Still Fizzing with Festive Fun
By Georgie DownesWere you there? Were you one of the hundreds of families milling around, soaking up the atmosphere of the Christmas Market at the Island of Geese last Friday and Saturday night? What a resounding success and something that’s sure to become a Christmas tradition for Tralee going forward. We had seasonal singing from the choirs of Presentation SC, Scoil Eoin and Listellick NS and performances by the brilliant members of the Kerry Choral Union and the Oliver Hurley Stage School Choir. Not to mention the food, the drink, the crafts, the yuletide fun. Everything you need to get you into the holiday spirit. But while the Christmas Market might be over, there is still plenty of festive cheer to be had in town.
The Elf Trail, in partnership
with Cara Credit Union, will be in operation on Saturday 17th Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th of December from 12pm to 4pm on the Saturdays and 2pm to 5pm on Friday. Explore the wooden cabins of four of Santa’s elves located in Russell Street, The Square, The Mall and Castle Street and find out if you’re on Santa’s naughty list or not. And if you’re little ones have a letter for St Nicholas himself, bring it along to ‘Jingle’ at the North Pole cabin and he’ll make sure the big guy gets it. And keep a look out for that mischievous giant elf that’s been showing up all over the place. If you spot him, you could win a €1000 gift voucher and luxury hamper just in time for Christmas. Performances of Santa Claus, The Show will resume on Saturday 17th December in
The Square at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm and again on Christmas Eve at 2pm and 3.30pm. The show is light and fun and free and features many favourite musical numbers from Christmas movies.

Football Final at the weekend against Newcastle West.
KERINS O RAHILLYS NEWS
Kerins O’Rahillys won their first Munster club senior football title at a sunny Mallow. Tommy Walsh was the toast of Strand Road as his aerial ability at the edge of the square was the winning of this Munster Club SFC final in Mallow.A first senior provincial title for Kerins O’Rahillys in only their second final, Walsh was a constant threat to Newcastle West and turned the game early in the second half. The former young footballer of the year was integral to both O’Rahillys’ goals in that period, scoring the first in the 34th minute when he caught a Jack Savage diagonal ball and fired home, and setting up the second five minutes later, again collecting a direct ball and offloading for Barry John Keane to finish. That goal immediately cancelled out a Mike McMahon three-pointer seconds before, the target man availing of Cian Sheehan’s effort coming off the post and sliding the ball under Shane Foley.Kerins O’Rahillys, who didn’t score from play in the opening half, didn’t trouble the scoreboard for the remainder but Newcastle West’s four points, all Eoin Hurley frees, weren’t enough.Facing the low sun in the first half, O’Rahillys opened the scoring in the first minute when Jack Savage sent over a free won by Gavin O’Brien as he was about to fire towards the posts. Savage sent over a 50-metre free in the 13th minute to square matters but Newcastle West were back in front when Hurley converted another free earned by the roving Sheehan.
The only goal chance of the half fell to Tommy Walsh in the 23rd minute when he caught and turned only for his shot to be blocked. Savage then dropped another long-range free short and in a moment that summed up O’Rahillys’ frustrations and had shades of the semi-final David Moran was penalised for charging. Registering five first-half wides, Newcastle West themselves were edgy but they looked sharper with ball in hand and Iain Corbett shot a mighty point to double their lead in the 29th minute. David Moran and Gavin O’Brien and Tommy Walsh won vital possessions in additional time to lift the siege on O’Rahillys. An All-Ireland semi-final against Kilmacud Crokes will focus minds over the Christmas, but we will enjoy this early present first. The team arrived back to Strand Road and were met by a huge crowd of supporters young and old as the celebrations continued late into the night.
