I forgot the passcode for my iPhone! How can I remove it? Billy says: If you enter the wrong passcode in your iPhone more than six times it will be disabled. The only way to get it up and running is to erase the phone. So, I always recommend you back it to the iCloud and always have Find my iPhone enabled.
Method 1 From another device, go to icloud.com/find. If prompted, sign in with your Apple ID .Click All Devices at the top of your browser window. Select the device you want to erase. Click Erase [device] to erase your device and its passcode .Now you can either restore from a backup or set up as new Method 2 Connect your iOS device to your computer and open iTunes. While your device is connected, force restart it On an iPhone 6s and earlier, iPad, or iPod touch: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. Don't release when you see the Apple logo. Keep holding both buttons until you see the recovery mode screen. Whats the best 'Free to Air " (FTA) receiver to watch the TV Channels on
Billy says: There are two different types of free to air receivers on is a standard Free to Air which will give all the FTA Channels but it will not update automatically and there is no 7 Day guide. The other choice is called a freesat box which is more expensive but it has a 7day guide and updates automatically and if a new channel comes on out you will get it. You can also record with it using a usb stick or external hard drive. It has only a single tuner so you can only record one program at a time

Answer There are strict controls about importing pets into Ireland to ensure that diseases such as rabies are not introduced. The EU system of passports for pets allows cats, dogs and ferrets to travel between EU member states. You may bring your dog with you if you are moving to Ireland or coming on holiday (or any other movement that is not commercial and doesn’t involve the sale or change of ownership of the pet). Your dog must have an EU Pet Passport. This is available from private veterinary practices. The Passport certifies that the pet is travelling from an eligible country, is identified by an implanted microchip and has been vaccinated against rabies at least 21 days before travel. Dogs coming from countries other than the UK, Finland or Malta must be treated against tapeworm between 24 and 120 hours before travel. The time and date of treatment are entered on the passport. Treatment for ticks is not compulsory but it is advisable to get it at the same time as the tapeworm treatment. The operator of the airline or ferry company is legally obliged to send notice of the arrival of the animal to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine by email at least 24 hours before the journey to petmove@ agriculture.gov.ie. Further information is available from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (agriculture.gov.ie/ pets) and from the Citizens Information Centre below.

Hello my lovely beautiful friends, I hope you’re all having a fantastic week! As I said last week, I recently did makeup at the IFTAs in Dublin. It was such an amazing experience and I’m looking forward to do more events in the near future. I completed five totally different looks on the day on Actors & Editors. This week I’m sharing the look I did on Charlene McKenna, an Irish Actor. Charlene wanted a smokey look, inspired by a few of Jennifer Lawrence’s Red Carpet looks.

Lancôme, renowned for its expertise in skincare and creativity in make-up, will offer an exclusive red carpet make up, skincare and manicure service to the IFTA nominees, citation readers and guests who attend this year’s star-studded awards ceremony, to ensure a flawless red carpet appearance. The Lancôme team of professionals will be on hand to offer this personalized service at the official IFTA Awards Style Suite at the Westbury hotel, as well as at the stars’ homes or hotel suites on request. FITNESS!
HELLO MY STRONG FRIENDS, I HOPE YOU’RE ALL HAVING A FANTASTIC WEEK! This week I’m going to talk about my current glute & hamstring workout, one of my current favourites & you really feel the burn! I always start off my gym sessions with cardio, I know it’s supposed to be better to do weights first but it’s just the way I like doing things. So I start off with about 30 mins mixture of uphill walking/jogging and sprints.
THEN IT’S ONTO WEIGHTS…
Obviously the amount of weight each person can handle per exercise is different, so apply that to yourself. • • • • • • •
Sumo Romanian Deadlift 4 sets 12 reps - 50kg weight Romanian deadlifts 3 sets 12 reps - 50 kg weight Cable squat pull through 3 sets 12-15 reps - 17.5kg weight Step ups with 8kg dumbbells Walking lunges with bar 4 sets 12 reps Leg curl 4 sets 10-12 reps - 30kg Glute Kickback 3 sets 10-12 reps
Finish this and you will definitely feel it in your legs the next day I promise! Also for my guys & gals who are looking to get whey protein, I highly recommend the Myprotein Salted Caramel, Chocolate Brownie or Vanilla flavour! So yummy with almond milk and frozen spinach! WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED? Its ridiculously simple, astonishingly powerful and scientifically proven study after study. A few minutes physical activity a day can transform your health, body and mind. A
few minutes physical activity a day can transform your health, body and mind. In New Zealand a “green perscription” scheme that gets people moving outdoors has been running since 1998 and 8 out of every 10 GP’s have issued “green perscriptions” to patients. A recent survey of patients given “green perscriptions” found 72% noticed positive changes in their health, 67% improved their diet and more than 51% felt stronger and fitter. The latest guidelines for health professionals say that one in four patients would exercise more if advised to do so by a GP or nurse. Research in the British Medical Journal found that a “green perscription” can improve a patients quality of life over a year and help people live longer healthier lives. A leisurely walker takes about 115-120 steps per minute and will cover a mile approximately 17-18 minutes

ITALIAN TRAVEL AGENTS SAMPLE TRALEE’S DELIGHTS AND SAY ‘ECCELLENTE’! Representatives of one of Italy’s biggest tour operators, Francorosso, together with 17 of its top-producing travel agents, are visiting Kerry and Ireland this week. They are here as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland. The group is on a fact-finding visit, to experience at firsthand what Kerry has to offer Italian holidaymakers. The aim of their visit is to educate and enthuse them about Kerry, the Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland – so they are better equipped to sell the destination to their clients when they return home. The group’s packed itinerary included a walking tour of Dingle, as well as visits to the Dingle Distillery and to Gallarus Oratory. They also enjoyed lunch in Paudie’s Bar in the Dingle Bay Hotel. While in Tralee, the group stayed at The Rose Hotel and dined in Kirby’s Brogue Inn.
“Fact-finding visits like this are an important element of our overall promotional programme, as the travel agents get to experience at first-hand the wealth of things to see and do here for Italian holidaymakers. Our aim is to enthuse them about the destination and ensure that when they return home, they are better equipped to advise their clients about Kerry and Ireland, when planning and booking their holidays.” Niamh Kinsella continued: “Italy is a key market for tourism to the island of Ireland. 2016 was the best year ever for tourism from Italy to Ireland, when we welcomed almost 345,000 Italian visitors, up +7% compared on 2015. Tourism Ireland is determined to ensure that growth continues and we are rolling out a busy programme of promotions in Italy this year.”
Niamh Kinsella, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Italy, said: 24

LAUGHTER ....THE BEST MEDICINE ! A GUY IS TIED TO THE MAST OF A PIRATE SHIP
The captain is going to make him walk the plank. ‘Any last words?’ Asks the captain. ‘No, but I have a few questions’ replies the captured sailor. ‘Very well’ says the pirate ‘ask away.’ “Well, I was wondering how you ended up with a peg leg’ says the sailor. “I got thrown overboard, and a shark took me leg’ says the pirate. ‘Well what about your arm? How did you end up with the hook?’ Says the sailor. ‘I went to block a slash from an enemy cutlass, and lost me arm’ replies the pirate. ‘Well what about your eye? Why do you now wear a patch?’ Ask the sailor. ‘I was shouting orders to the crow’s nest one day, and a bird shit in me eye’ says the pirate “How did birdshit take out your eye?’ Ask the sailor. “Aye, it was me first day with the hook’ said the pirate.
KID VS BARBER
A young boy enters a barber shop and the barber whispers to his customer. ‘This is the dumbest kid in the world. Watch while I prove it you.’ The barber puts a dollar bill in one hand and two quarters in the other, then calls the boy over and asks, ‘Which do you want, son?’ The boy takes the quarters and leaves. ‘What did I tell you?’ said the barber. ‘That kid never learns!’ Later, when the customer leaves, he sees the same young boy coming out of the ice cream store. ‘Hey, son! May I ask you a question? Why did you take the quarters instead of the dollar bill?’ The boy licked his cone and replied, ‘Because the day I take the dollar, the game is over!’

TORQUING CARS! CAR ADVICE WITH HONEST JOHN (DAILY TELEGRAPH)
If your car has developed a fault, turn Honest John by emailing honestadvice@ telegraph.co.uk
to
THE BIG IDEA
You recently advised CG to replace his Audi A6 Avant diesel with “something with a petrol engine”, but that is easier said than done if you want a large estate. I am concerned about this because I would like to change my Mercedes E-class estate, but with some major cities planning bans diesels could soon be rendered unsaleable. Are manufacturers planning to reintroduce petrol or hybrid versions of their large estates? SB HJ.....The Ford Mondeo and Skoda Superb are both available as turbocharged 2.0 petrol estates. The Mondeo is also available as a petrol hybrid and the VW Passat GTE is a plug-in petrol hybrid estate. Within a year, petrol plug-in hybrid estates will be available from Audi, BMW and Mercedes.
CABLE CAR
I have an eight-year-old Toyota Avensis 1.8 with conventional handbrake, which I wish to replace with a car with similar characteristics. These include a large boot, comfortable seating and quiet ride. The replacement, two or three years old, does not have to be a hatchback. The old-style handbrake is a must. EC Unfortunately, conventional lever-type parking brakes are going out of style because electromechanical rear brakes are more compatible with autonomous braking. The Ford Focus still has a lever handbrake, mind, as do Skoda Octavias.
URBAN WORRIER
I want to change my Mercedes E220 diesel for a similar new car (Mercedes, BMW, Audi etc). Having now retired I drive only about 3,000 miles a year, mostly short urban trips. Can you help, please? RJ A petrol hybrid makes the most sense. You could consider a VW Passat GTE, a Lexus IS300h or a Kia Optima PHEV.
FOR £53,000, IS THIS MERCEDES-BENZ V-CLASS MARCO POLO THE PERFECT LUXURY CAMPER VAN FOR SUMMER ADVENTURES?
Wanderlust. It’s a difficult, little-understood condition known to strike people of all ages, with symptoms often continuing for months or even years. It can be exacerbated by prolonged exposure to the office, commuting by rail, going back to work after a bank holiday, other people’s holiday photographs and the news, while those who have used up their entire holiday allowance for the financial year tend to be the worst affected. Previously, treatments have involved the use of aircraft, but these have recently been shown to have worrying side-effects. In their place, we recommend a tried-and-tested traditional remedy – the camper van. This one isn’t cheap. At £53,180 for the basic model, and with prices rising to around £60,000 for the top of the range AMG Line version with all the trimmings, the Mercedes-Benz V-class Marco Polo is very much the opposite of a Ryanair flight and three nights in a hostel bunk bed. Travellers on a budget might prefer something like the SsangYong Turismo Tourist, a similar camper that costs around half as much. But for buyers in search of a premium ‘glamper van’ experience, the Marco Polo is difficult to beat. It’s based on the V-class, a strong – if expensive – MPV choice in the van segment that has formed the backbone of Europe’s airport shuttle fleet since its introduction in 2003. As such, it’s pretty van-like to look at and it’ll be van-like to drive, but that’s a small price to pay for the flexibility afforded by a real camper van. You have seating for four people, which can be converted into sleeping arrangements for two couples (or two sets of amicable homies). You also have a simple galley kitchen and a eating space, as well as a stowed table and chairs for al fresco dining.Of course, it’s not as straightforward as this. Cooking, eating and sleeping in a confined space is difficult in a practical and psychological sense, while Alex Robbins became familiar with the realities of campervan life when he took a VW California to Norway. That leaves two glaring faults left – the £53,000 price tag, and the total lack of lavatory. People who have £53,000 to spend don’t always enjoy going to the loo outside. But for those who have the cash to splash, the V-class Marco Polo ticks a lot of boxes on paper. Expect to see a steady stream of these campers trundling through Calais in 2017.

TALKING SPORT WITH THE TRALEE ADVERTISER
with “The Voice” Pat Harnett
FAI NATIONAl P.R.O. OF THE YEAR NOT THE TIME TO BE A HURLER ON THE DITCH! I am the first to admit that while I always try to include hurling in my column maybe I have not put them to the fore as much as I should. I will say at this stage the my father was born in Lixnaw so the fortunes of that club are always talked about, even though my father is now 89 and has been gone from Lixnaw for over 60 years! So this week I am putting the Kerry hurlers to the fore as they enter a very important few weeks of their season. Having just lost out to Laois by the minimum after extra time they will have put that out of their minds. This Sunday at Pairc Tailteann they face Meath in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship Round Robin First Round with a place in the Leinster quarter final for the top two in the group. Westmeath and Laois are the other sides in the 4 team competition. And like any four team competition the first game is vital. If you lose you are really up against it to make the top 2. Of course Meath will be thinking the same thing and will hope Kerry will be suffering a relegation hangover. But Kerry manager Fintan O’Connor and his management team will be working hard to ensure this is not the case. Kerry will have gained a lot of experience from their Munster and National League games against top flight opposition and are relishing the chance to put the League behind them. O’Connor says that “none of the players are happy with the way things worked out and they are itching to put things right. They want to go out and make the championship the story of the year. They have trained hard and put in a huge commitment over Easter.” “We want to go one better than last year and escape from the round robin and obviously we are aiming for a quarter final.” Kerry have been hit with the bad news this week that Kilmoyley’s Daniel Collins is out
32
TRALEE ADVERTISER
of the campaign with a grade two hamstring tear. He has been in great form all year and will be a big loss. Meath are in Division 2B having gained promotion and have recent victories in the Christy Leahy Cup finals. However Kerry should have enough to see them off and get the Round Robin off to a good start. Westmeath caught Kerry out last year in a game the Kingdom would have expected to win. And this year Westmeath will be at home in Mullingar. However it can be said that they did not push on to the levels expected and finished this year’s League behind Antrim and Carlow, two side Kerry would be expected to beat. Laois and Kerry are certainly two counties who paths are crossing regularly and their clash in Tralee could be one of two things. Hopefully they will have defeated the other two teams in the Group and will be going into the Kerry game already qualified as hopefully will Kerry! The other possibility is that both sides will need to win to progress and what a game that would be. Either way these are exciting time for Kerry hurling and Kerry hurling supporters. And I will attempt to give them more of the coverage they deserve here in this column! Senior Hurling League: Round 2 of the Tralee Credit Union County Senior League takes place this weekend while the Celtic Challenge for the u17’s begins on Wednesday March 3rd.. MINOR’S WIN BUT U21’S LOSE: The Kerry minor quest to retain their Munster and All Ireland titles got off to the perfect start with a big 2-16 to 1-6 win over Clare. Peter Keane and his management team will be happy the side have a game under their belts but will quickly file this away as they know there are bigger tests ahead. And one of those is from Cork who were impressive in their win over Tipperary. Now one thing about the Minor Championship is that

the powers that be do not make it straight forward. By having a rule that prevents a repeat of the pairings in the previous year’s semi-final it means that it is not yet certain if it will be a Kerry v Cork semi-final. What is the need for this rule as the vast majority of minors are new to the team every year? Anyway if Waterford comes through the ‘back door’ against Clare and Tipperary they cannot face Limerick again so there will have to be a draw to see who faces Kerry. All this is as clear as mud but won’t be bothering the minors too much as they will be working away on preparations for whoever they will meet. The less said about the u21’s the better as the players and managers will still be trying to come to terms of where it all went wrong. From the lightening start made by Galway the Kingdom did make a game of it in the second half but were unable to close the gap. It just shows that on the day of a game anything can happen. County Football Championship Reviews: Now that the Championship season is underway we will have a look at who’s in and whose out from a Tralee point of view after each round. County Intermediate Club Championship: John Mitchel’s were the big casualties of the 1st Round going down to Ardfert by the minimum in a low scoring game 0-07 to 0-08. Ardefert are never easy to beat come Championship and here again they proved that. Mitchels had the wind in the first half but were only leading 4 points to 2 at the break. This put the home side in the driving seat but it took them until late to secure the win. Dual star John Egan was the hero hitting the winning score. Ardfert will be away to An Ghaeltacht on Monday May 1st at 3pm. COUNTY PREMIER JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP: Na Gaeil are into Round 2 and a
meeting at home to Churchill after knocking out a fancied Beaufort 1-15 to 1-11. Seamus O’Neill put the Tralee side 1-08 to 0-05 ahead and they increased that to 1-11 to 0-05 at the break. However in the end they had to see off a big Beaufort fight back to take the win. Ballydonoghue’s loss was the surprise of the round as they lost out to Churchill 2-10 to 1-10. They were without some key players and missed a penalty to lose on the road despite a Brian Cremin goal putting them 1-05 to 0-01 ahead. Stacks and Crokes in Club Championship Round 1: Any time Killarney and Tralee’s Black and Amber meet it will create lots of interest. They meet this Sunday in Killarney at 2.30pm in the Club championship. While this is certainly a secondary competition to the County Senior Championship both sides will be looking for a win. And what kind of Dr Crokes side will be on duty is also the subject of much speculation. KERRY U17 FOOTBALLERS: As always when talking about a ‘conflict’ between GAA and soccer I declare my interest and work in the latter. The Kerry u17 footballers are in action this week under the same management as the minors. They play Tipperary on May 2nd in Austin Stack Park. According to the GAA the u17 competition is to give inter-county competition to a group of players who would otherwise have missed out on inter-county activity due to the lowering of the Minor age group to 17 in 2018. But the question is would this be in place if the FAI did not introduce a League of Ireland at u17’s and coming down the track at u15’s? Reducing the minor age puts the sports in direct conflict and what it will mean is that players will have to choose football or soccer at a much younger age. It is true that the Kerry minors are still the big draw for the majority of u16 and u17 players but if soccer can put the right product in place at u17’s as it is doing and also possibly at u15’s it will become a bigger draw to the teenagers both codes are targeting. We are certainly at the level where there can be no elite dual players at u16’s /u17’s. KERIN’S O’RAHILLYS NOTES: The clash with neighbours Austin Stacks in the final of the Tralee Town Board League saw both sides putting out strong line-ups. Barry John Keane was on fire in the game hitting 1-09, with 5 points coming from frees. However there was just a point between the sides at the break. Stacks opened the second half brightly and hit three points but again Barry John and

TALKING SPORT WITH THE TRALEE ADVERTISER Tommy Walsh led the line to see Rahilly’s take the win by 4 points 2-15 to 1-14 in a game that will do both teams the power of good ahead of the upcoming Senior Club championship. The Senior team are at home to Kenmare in that championship this Sunday April 23rd at 2.30pmand are hoping for a big home crowd. The first round of the County Championship has a familiar ring to it as the club faces South Kerry for the fourth time in 5 years. The game will be played on the weekend of May 13th and 14th most likely in Austin Stacks Park. Junior Blues: After having Easter Sunday off the Junior Blues are back in action this Sunday at Ballyrickard at 11am. The u14’s qualifying group began this week. The u12 girls are in weekly training and will play Na Gaeil this Friday night, April 21st. They are also due to face Dingle over the next few days. The u14’s were in action against Moyvane on Thursday night. The u16’s played Churchill the same night. Minors: The minors were defeated by Austin Stacks in the Town Board League and have Killarney Legion next in the County League this Friday night, April 21st. Footballers know their Golf: The Masters Golf Challenge was a major fundraising success and the winner on -26 was Pat Foley. Sean O’Leary was the runner-up one shot behind with Henry Burrows third on -24. Club Lotto: There was no winner of the Lotto from the numbers drawn 11,19,26 and 31 with the next Jackpot being e7,100. ST PAT’S NEWS: There was no winner of the Lotto from the numbers drawn 5,6,12 and 27 and the next jackpot will be e4,700 with the draw in Keane’s Bar this Sunday night. The Lotto promotion celebrating 20 years of the fundraiser runs until June. Juvenile Academy: The younger stars had Easter Sunday off and will be back this Sunday at 10.30am. The u12’s were in Croke Park last Thursday and what a great day out they had playing on the hallowed turf plus a visit to the wonderful GAA Museum. The u14’s went down to Currow 4-07 to 5-21 in a game where they were well down at half time and despite a strong second half the gap was too wide. They were away to Listowel Emmets in a Feile qualifying group game. The u16’s had an impressive Central League win over Stacks B winning 8-7 to 0-03. The Minors play tonight Friday April 21st in the semi-final of the Division 6B with Asdee/ Ballylongford as their opponents.
CAMOGIE NEWS: There was heartbreak for the Kerry camogie side as they went down by 0-06 to 0-04 in the Littlewoods National Camogie League Division 3 semi-final. The u18’s are in the Strike for Glory Championship final this Saturday at 2pm in Nenagh. This side has had some notable wins in the run up to the final, the first for a minor side since 2012. The panel of 27 girls are very experienced with 15 of them tasting All Ireland success back in 2013 when the won the Sophie Brack U14 All Ireland Division 4 Cup. The squad is managed by Owen Lawlor assisted by Joe Walsh, Teresa Reil O’Connor and Fiona Lawlor. Kerry camogie is hosting an Administration Workshop for all Officers and Team management on Tuesday April 25th from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. It will cover items such as Grant applications, planning and implementing of fixtures and the taking and delivering of Minutes. Anyone interested must contact secretarykerry@camogie.ie as the workshop needs a minimum number to go ahead. PARNELLS NEWS: The kids on the Easter Camp were delighted to get a visit from Clare hurler Cian Dillon on the last day of the camp. He took questions, offered words of advice and showed the young boys and girls some great skills to practice as well as signing many hurleys. Over 60 kids attended a great camp run by coordinator David O’Dea and his fellow coaches. The u16 boys enjoyed a great win over Causeway in the County League. They face Kilmoyley in midweek. The u12 Girls are still on a high after trip to Croke Park and their games on the hallowed turf. It was a great day for all involved with the adults enjoying things as much as the girls. The u12 boys won a keenly contested game against Dr Crokes in a game played in challenging wet conditions. The club congratulates all its members who have lined out with Kerry in recent games at various ages. 5 Parnells players played for the Kerry u17’s against Clare in the Munster Championship which is a great achievement for the club and its coaches. May 20th is the day to get waxed! The club will host a fundraiser – a leg waxing with a difference on Saturday May 20th with more details to come. u17’s will be looking to build on their 1-1 draw away to UCD in their last game. This is one that travelling up on the day manager Darren Aherne and his assistants Tony O’Neill, Tim Collins and Graham Spring would have taken a point. But the sides played very well and ex Tralee Dynamos player Dillon Robinson put Kerry in front mid-way through the first quarter. And Kerry will rue fact that they did not take their opportunities to extend the lead as they were pegged back by a dubious late on penalty. Now they have a chance to build on their first point in their opening three games when they welcome Cabinteely to Mounthawk Park in Tralee this Sunday with a 2pm kick-off. Cabinteely have lost 2 of their opening games going down to Shamrock Rovers and Bray Wanderers but they have recorded a very good 2-1 win at home to Cork City. Looking at their results they don’t score a lot but also are very tight at the back. Come along to Mounthawk Park at 2pm to see the U17’s in their second home game of their season. DYNAMOS BOYS IN GREEN: Two former Tralee Dynamos players are continuing to impress in the Green of Ireland. Sean Kennedy is in the Czech Republic with the u15’s and scored twice in their 4-1win over Norway. They will also being playing their hosts during the week. And also getting ready for another trip with Ireland is Rian O’Sullivan who is now with Brighton and Hove Albion. And it is a great time to be with the club as they have just been promoted to the Premier League. Rian is on Jim Crawford’s u18 squad who are heading to the Slovakia Cup where they will face the Czech Republic next Monday, April 24th, Russia on the 25th, Turkey on the 27th and a classification match on Friday. PARK LIFE: St Brendan’s Park Academy Coaches Needed: With the new Academy season having just kicked off, now would be a great time for new volunteers to join the club in bringing football and fun to all. The team finished in 8th place at the Las Vegas 7s, the second successive tournament in a row that the side to made the QuarterFinals. Galvin joins up with a13 player squad and is one of 3 new additions. TRALEE HARRIERS WINNERS AT COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS: Luke O’Carroll had a good day in the Junior category winning gold in the 100m, 200m and long jump. In the Senior Women’s Tralee Harriers took two titles – Aoife O’Carroll in the 400m and Aoibheann O’Brien in the Long Jump.
