TULSA HBA & REASOR’S DONATE $5,000 TO FOOD FOR KIDS PROGRAM This year Tulsa HBA, Reasor’s, and KOTV were honored to present $5,000 and an additional $1,000 from Reasor’s to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma’s Food for Kids program. We are grateful to every attendee that took the time to purchase a bouquet of flowers at the 2020 Greater Tulsa Home & Garden Show. Your support is what helps us continue to make our community a better place! The Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa partnered with Reasor’s to sell bouquets of flowers at the Tulsa Home & Garden Show. All proceeds went to supporting the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma’s Food for Kids Program. Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma’s Food for Kids program specifically addresses childhood hunger and ensures food-insecure children in our communities have a reliable resource for nutritious meals throughout the year.
PWB COUNCIL PARTNERS WITH R&G GROCERS TO MEET LOCAL NEEDS
The Professional Women in Building Council partnered with R&G Family Grocers to donate and fill the gap during the COVID-19 shutdown so that under-served communities would have access to groceries and food. Their mission is to enhance the health of northeast Oklahoma through food-based community revitalization.
have distributed 23,760 bundles of food to 11,880 households. Their goal is to pack and distribute an additional 1800 bundles of food to 900 households. The PWB council was thrilled to partner with this worthy organization to provide meals and nutrition to those who need it the most.
