Vernal Avenue, the center is among the newest and most impressive buildings in Vernal. Run by the Uintah Recreation Special Service District, it is managed by Robin O’Driscoll. Everything from a massive indoor swimming pool, complete with water slides, to an indoor gymnasium and state-ofthe-art workout rooms can be found inside. They also feature a large climbing wall for people to give rock-climbing a try. For all the great things to do at the center, they were nominated as the “Favorite Fitness Center” of the Uintah Basin for 2016.
