1. Assemble all equipment needed for this process.

2. Place the reel of thread onto the cotton stand.

Now take the thread up towards the eyelet bar.

5. Now take the thread around the tension disk in an anti-clockwise direction.

3. Feed the thread through the eyelet bar.

6. Take the thread down the pre-tention bar, threading through the eyelet. Then around the bar and through the second eyelet.

4. Pull the thread down to the spool pin, feed from back to front through the hole situated just below the tension disk.

7. Pull the thread down and around the tension disk. Ensure the thread sits fully between the disks.

8. Take the thread under the bar and up through the retaining clip towards the take-up leaver.

11. Hook the thread around the guide just above the needle bar.

9. Pass the thread through the eyelet in the lever, from right to left.

12. Take the thread down through the hole on the needle bar.

10. Continue to guide the thread down through the retaining clip to the needle bar.

13. Finish by threading the needle left to right.

14. You are ready to sew.
