1. Assemble all pieces needed for this process.
4. Press the long and short placket pieces in half.
2. Mark the position of the placket on the hindarm of the sleeve.
5. With the wrong sides facing up, line the long placket piece up with the placket opening.
3. Cut the opening of the placket in preparation for sewing.
6. Repeat to the shorter placket.

7. Ensure notches are aligned. 8. On the short placket, sew a 1cm seam from the notch to the bottom edge of the placket. 9. Repeat to the long placket.
10. Make a diagonal cut from the end of the placket opening to the end of the stitching. Cut to, not through the last stitch. 11. Repeat to the other side. This creates a V-shaped seam allowance at the end of the placket. 12. Turn the long placket onto the right side of the sleeve.

13. Press the seam towards the placket.
16. Edgestitch the placket into position.
14. Repeat to the shorter placket.
17. Finishing stitching at the same point as the previous stitch line.
15. Fold over the seam allowance on the placket edge and press.

18. From the right side of the sleeve, attach the top of the short placket to the V-shaped seam allowance created by the snipping.

19. Press the seam allowance up towards the top of the sleeve. 20. Bag out the top of the long placket. 21. Turn through and press. From the right side, edgestitch the placket into position ensuring the previous stitchline is covered. 22. 23. Continue to sew around the top end of the placket to create a box of stitching. Make sure the seam allowance of the short placket is completely covered. 24. Lightly press 25. Finished sleeve placket.
