Different Uses
of Onion You Didn’t Know About
You may think that onion is only used in cooking, but you are wrong. Onion has different uses and special properties you probably didn’t hear about !
1
In Your Ear
Place a piece of onion after peeling it in your ear hole and sleep with it. This tip may seem bizarre but it really does relieve pains, flu and even fever.
3
As you may know, Onion, like garlic, has an anti-inflammatory ability to fight many symptoms of the flu and other diseases.
2
Cleaning Your Grillers Onion can also work as a detergent to clean the grillers of BBQ and such since it has the ability to remove the grease that comes from grilling.
In Your Socks
Also, putting a slice of onion inside of your socks at the bottom of your feet works best to help relieve different pains.
Scientific Fact Onion enzymes will pass through nerve endings in the foot related to internal organs. Onion has also phosphoric acid that goes to your blood stream to help bacteria and viruses. SOURCE https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW55zuK3PV0DuLw_4u41w_Q

3 # Tip
1 # Tip Do any cardiovascular activity by running, fast walking , Cycling classes or join a Group class .
4 # Tip Good nutrition is the key to all of the above . For example, eat more vegetables than you think you need. Leafy greens such as Broccoli, kale , spinach, Lean Proteins. Nourish with good fruits. Drink plenty of water.
2 # Tip You must do some weight lifting 3-4 times per week. Cardio is not enough. Incorporating some weight training will help you see results much faster. After a few weeks, the contours of your muscles will be defined, and you'll have more energy than ever.
Pay attention to all of the muscle groups. Do weight training that focuses on your arms, back, shoulders, legs, and torso.
5 # Tip Join yoga classes Yoga tones your muscles, but it also detoxifies your body. The buildup of toxins can lead to water retention and weight gain, so it's important to expel them if you want to tone your body. Participating in a yoga class 2 3 times a week is a great way to get stronger and healthier.

1. Apply Concealer Under the Eyes, chin and forehead: Use a brush to apply powder/cream concealer under the eyes area, under your chin and a little in the middle of your forehead. Then go down with the concealer to the center of your nose. These are the places where they need to be highlighted.
OPTIONAL: To have a little sharp face, also apply under your jawline. Also, you can apply it in the corners of your lips and between your nose and lips.
2. Apply Contour on c h e e k b o n e s , forehead top and nose corners: a) Use a bigger brush to apply powder/cream contour and draw a line on your cheekbones and blend it. Later, apply the cream to your forehead top and blend upwards to the hairline. Then, apply on your nose corners and also the bottom of the nose to make it shorter. And blend everything with a sibel brush. b) A little tip is to use a little foundation to blend the edges of your contour, around it and on the contour. C) Use a powder all over the face then a bronzer on the cheekbones.
OPTIONAL: Apply a little on your jaw to make the face looks smaller depending on your face shape.

An Exclusive Interview
With
Steve Casino
S
teve Casino is not just an
artist, he is very unusual. He invents toys, makes art out of peanut and makes monsters, too. YOU! Newsletter had the pleasure to interview and to unveil the secrets behind his unusual art. YOU: You are a toy inventor, peanut painter and also a monster maker, how did you start this artistic journey? Steve Casino: I attended Rochester Institute Of Technology for Industrial Design. Was never great at design but really liked the model-building part and the illustration electives.
YOU: Have you always wanted to do such a thing? SC: I never had any set course in life but always had an appreciation for caricatures and toys. My brother and I used to read the Christmas catalogs cover-tocover. I knew what every toy in there did.
YOU: So you call yourself on your website, painter of nuts , how did you think of making paintings and art by using nuts (comment: that is really mind-blowing)? SC: I drew myself on a peanut shell with a Sharpie one day and it made my friend laugh. A light bulb went off. I had always dabbled in doing caricatures so I said to myself “these could be celebrities.” The first ones were pretty awful but I quickly got better at it. YOU: You created many well-known celebrities statues, Elvis Presley, Elton John among others, who you haven't done yet and looking forward to do them? SC: The good thing is that my art is very much in demand and I get hired a lot. The bad thing is that my time is limited. So much of what I do is now is based on people hiring me to make specific characters. If somebody wants to hire me to make a high-profile figure like Elvis, I jump
at the chance because in the end I make money from not only the art but also the photos that I sell of it to the press. If I get hired to make someone’s husband, I charge more because I can’t sell the photos. Once a year it seems I get a break and can make something for fun. This year I think it will be the rock group The Doors. They would be funny as peanuts because they were so serious as performers.
YOU: Who was the hardest celebrity to create? SC: Elton John, strangely enough. I also hadn’t much experience at that point.
YOU: What
other unique unknown
materials have you used so far to design the nut shell apart from the obvious materials? SC: Lately I’ve been using a lot of Super Sculpey polymer clay to make more elaborate designs.
YOU: It was mentioned in other interviews that you go through many nuts to find the perfect shell, how do you know which one is the perfect one for each person? What do you exactly look for? SC: The perfect posture and head-to
-torso ratio. YOU: How enjoyable is the process to you? Must be fun, right? SC: I love it. When I get into making a piece, it always shocks me that I’m actually good at doing this. It took me so long to become the artist that I wanted to be. I failed so many times before this. YOU: So you call yourself many names on your instagram profile, which one do you see yourself more in? Monster Maker is such a unique title , so from where did this come from (chuckling) do you consider your statues monsters as well? SC: I started making different sculptures called “infestations” where I take a well-known consumer package like a Coca-Cola
can and sculpt a figure peeking out of a hole in it. They’ve been amazingly successful on social media, even more than the peanuts. Apparently there are a lot of Coca-Cola collectors worldwide that I had no clue about but made these as a happy accident. I created videos of myself sculpting a monster inside of one and a Santa inside another. Millions of views. The day I posted the Santa I could have sold 300 of them. It has me rethinking
YOU: You photograph your mini statues in such a creative way, do you think photography and presentation plays a big part in your art? SC: It absolutely does. On social media, the photo or the video IS your art so it should be the most interesting presentation possible. If you look on Instagram, there are very few people with original ideas. One person does paintings using coffee and 100 more people doing coffee paintings pop up the next day. I don’t delude myself that my skills are the best out there but I’m blessed to have a very creative mind. So I use it to show people things they haven’t seen before. Like making a can of spray paint from a peanut then doing peanut graffiti with it. People can copy your art but they can’t copy originality.
YOU: So you turned your unique work of art into a profitable business, what was the turning point when you told yourself "I must sell these things?" SC: I literally experienced overnight success after posting my work on the web. I had been making the peanut art for several months and sharing it with family and friends on Facebook. One friend suggested that I take a group shot of all the work I’d done thus far and another told me I should make a video of my process. So I did that and posted

them on YouTube. Within a day the Today Show and Good Morning America contacted me to feature my stuff. It was really weird. I have been booked solid for work ever since.
YOU: How long did it take you to make that decision?

gram. But at some point in the last few months they (Instagram) started posting my work in their “Explore Posts” section a lot. That really bumped me up in followers. I love it because I meet new people every day.
your art to buy it and who is your target audience in your opinion? SC: You have to contact me at itpopart@gmail.com to hire me. I don’t sell my work through any site like Etsy. If you want to buy a piece, contact me directly and I’ll send you a list of what’s for sale. My business is set up more for commissions than buying things that are already made. My target audience is very broad. I keep sex, violence, and profanity out of it. YOU: You get requests from family members, friends and even celebrities to make those statues, who are the celebrities that have requested from you, can you name a few? SC: Trent Reznor, The Johnny Cash Museum, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, MTV. YOU : Did you get any critique for your work? And how do you deal with them if any? SC: Every now and then someone rips on me because some of my peanut art has a lot of clay built on top of it to make a character. Usually it’s just a troll who is angry because his art isn’t featured on a site and mine is. Like “how is this peanut art? It’s 20% clay!” They didn’t know peanut art existed until 5 seconds before and they’re already critiquing it.
YOU: As lot of artists on instagram and other social media that has thousands of followers, what was the booming point in your art journey?
SC: I was doing well on Insta-
YOU: You succeed to make your art so much popular and likable in a world that is just hard to stand out, what is the secret of your popularity? SC: I try and do surprising, strange stuff that makes me happy to work on but is still family-friendly. My followers are as young as 10 and as old as 80-something. YOU: Name five qualities that every, artist, crafter and inventor should have? SC: 1). Perseverance. 2). Ability to accept rejection. 3). Acceptance that you’re not the best artist in the world. 4). Willingness to try new things all of the time. 5). The wisdom that copying another artist doesn’t make you that artist.
YOU : What are your future plans for 2016? What are the things that you still want to accomplish?
SC: I never really have a plan so it’s very cool that stuff always pops up for me to do. My peanuts are going to be featured in an international show in March. Then in April I get to have a piece in a Ramones art show in NYC along with some of the top artists in the world. Later in the year I’ll be in some of Gallery 1988’s shows in LA.
YOU! Personal Q&A YOU: Do you have any other things that you love to do, hobbies? What are they?
SC: I love just hanging out with my wife and two daughters. We enjoy Dr. Who and watch that together. Board games and puzzles are fun to do together.
YOU: What do you enjoy doing in your leisure time?
SC: I collect vintage toys, comic books, and records. Really love old comic strips.
YOU! Interview Game .”
YOU: If you had to choose between originality fame and money, which one would you rather choose and why?
SC: They both have their advantages and disadvantages. But I would go with fame. You can achieve money with fame but it’s really hard to achieve fame with money. I have made so many friends through my internet popularity but could never have done that with simply having money.
YOU: If you had to live somewhere else, where would you choose to live? SC: Probably LA by the beach.
YOU: If you had to go by a spaceship to a planet in the solar system, where would you go and why? SC: Mars, of course. We’ve heard about it all of our lives

LOVE And Spirituality By Cecian Boyce
he meaning of God (In monotheistic religions) the creator and ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority; the Supreme Being. (In certain other religions) a superhuman being or spirit worshipped as having power over nature or human fortunes; a deity. I sit and ponder about life, about God. God is real to me, as real as bread and butter, apples, joy, pain and the sunshine. I do not perceive Him or Her as belonging to a particular religion or philosophy. I do not perceive or understand
God as being a solid being. To me God is neither male nor female but a divine energy that has no boundaries and no limitations. An omnipresent energy or power. Like wind blowing, like rain falling and like sun shining. Similar to love, it is felt not seen, therefore it is misunderstood. I have learnt from society to relate to God as some entity outside of me, He who is greater than me. One who is outside of me. Is the one we call GOD outside of us? Is He separate from us? How can this be possible? Can only clergy or religious leaders understand and com-
mune with God? What qualifies a person to be able to communicate with God? My experiences and realizations have given me a different perception and understanding. God to me is within me, part of me and is me and you. I understand collective consciousness and the power of collective contagiousness. This may be different to each person as we are shaped by our experiences and our backgrounds or circumstances. We commune with God on a daily bases and we don't realize that we are part of this divine power.
I have adapted a concept about God and spiritual issues in a manner which I am comfortable with. For many years, I was confused about who is God or what is God. As a young child, I had adapted my families’ idea of God. Being born into a Christian family I was taught the Christian concept of God and Jesus. Then later on in my life I felt that there must be more to God, Jesus and what we call religion. I learnt to look at religion like politics in an objective manner. Not to personalize religion but to observe it. Observing something is to get to understand it and not to judge or criticise it. In that way I do not judge or criticize, label or own it. I believe that all religions or philosophies are valid and have interesting valuable messages. The joy of life is choice so there is no right or wrong on how we each perceive life or God. This is my realization; this is what makes us great creators. Even in our mistakes we are great creators as we can convince others of the authenticity of our belief. When you can convince people that they need religion, segregation and other separating concepts to live successful lives, then you are powerful and in most cases dangerous.

suasion abilities. If we just look at our creative capabilities as humans then we see that we are God’s creating collectively and individually. We are all capable of dreaming and creating and most of us have chosen to follow the leaders, to be influenced and led by the ones who are more inclined to lead or play the leadership role in our world. This is why we have different social classes. We, as humans, decide on what class we belong to by submitting a certain type of energy to create our individual reality. This is part of our creative and godly abilities. I do not conform to any religion as I do understand that we are all one and equal with different characteristics. We make collectively the sum of all who we call God. The energy I reflect outside and with me does create what type of life I will live. I am love and I choose to live in love.
