The Hidden Gems of Saudi Everyday my appreciation for the Saudi Arabian beauty deepens. Since last year, the hidden gems of Saudi started to be discovered and local tourism has flourished more than ever. It's only fair to say that beauty has always been there, but now it is finally revealed. From all four sides, our country has got everything, literally! The gems of Saudi stretches from North to South and from west to east. There are idyllic beaches, breezy mountains, green valleys, wide oases, high waterfalls, purple trees, golden sand dunes, and ancient civilizations. What's more? It is hard to count these gems in just a note. I wouldn't do them justice, but I am happy to dedicate an issue. When we made a cover photo contest, it was difficult to choose a cover photo about Saudi because they were equally beautiful. Enjoy browsing this summer's edition of beauty, health, and looking into Saudi heritage in an exclusive feature. With Love,

This happened!
June 23rd was a day to remember. I was thrilled to be part of this amazing initiative to color Jeddah Walk, such a wish come true. I have always wanted to do something for my city. Coloring this walk and turning an ordinary street into an art piece was gratifying to me. I felt a sense of togetherness working with this great volunteering community. Lastly, I would say I loved this experience on so many levels. Something to be proud of, a painted mark!

BEAUTY FOR YOU
Face
When we go to the beach, we tend to forget to take care of our hair. Chlorine and salty water can damage your hair. Using a cream before going for a swim is a good idea.

tip
When it comes to the face, it is crucial to apply sunscreens when exposed to the sun. That goes without saying, right? The essential information here is to look for SPF (Sun Protection Factor) number.
tip
Apply oil replacement products, a hair conditioner or mask.
For the face, you need a sunscreen of SPF +50 to get maximum protection. Many of you only apply on the face, but forget that lips are also part of the face that needs protection. Your lip balm should also have an SPF, preferably with that number, too.

Look no further, we'll tell you all about how each skin type reacts to the sun differently, what the Fitzpatrick Scale is and all other things you need!
Let's begin with the Fitzpatrick scale! It is a numerical system for human skin color. On the scale, each skin color is classified into a type number In total, there are six different types of skins. This classification is based on the amount of melanin that exists in your skin which also measures your sun sensitivity. The more melanin your skin contains, the less sensitive to the sun your skin becomes and vice versa. But why does knowing this help you? Well, being aware of your skin type will help you decide whether or not sunbathing is good for you. Getting a golden tan can be charming, but getting a sunburn can be damaging to your skin health! It is better to be well-prepared.

One art event, in its first edition, was held at Tasami Creative Lab in Serafi Mall in Jeddah, which coincided with another event in At-Turaif Historical District in Diriyah in association with Al Diriyah Gate Development Authority. Through these events, three winners were awarded in-kind and financial prizes.
Every year, 'World Heritage Day' takes place on the 18th of April, also known as 'International Day of Monuments and Sites.' The day is celebrated globally by making various activities and events. International Council of Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), headquartered in Paris, is a non-governmental organization aimed at preserving World’s monuments with branches worldwide.
