te o N s ’ r o Edit It’s a Diverse World...
We are living in a world that is full of diversity. One of the important things about diversity is culture! That is why I decided to make the issue of this spring season about Cultural Diversity.
My physics class has taught me an important thing in life that opposite magnets attract each other. And it’s true. We tend to be attracted to the people and cultures different from us because we want to be exposed to things beyond what we are used to.

Do You Take Water Labels Seriously? A
lot of people are too thirsty to
read water labels, let alone taking them seriously. You may not know this, but bottled water actually contains many added chemicals that may affect your health adversely if they were increased than the acceptable level.
To take an example of an added chemical, Sulfate is a chemical that is added to enhance taste and odor of water. This substance is usually not more than 250 mg per liter. However, if this amount increased for whatever reason, this can risk having diarrhea and dehydration.
Another chemicals that were found are such as chlorine, fluoride, Dioxin and Mercury among others. Consuming such chemicals can cause respiratory problems and even increase the chances of cancer on the long run.
This is not to scare you, but to let you know what you are really drinking and why reading water labels is important at times.

P hosphine Gas Hazards A
recent documentary film about
Phosphine has gone popular on the Saudi You Tube page. The director of the film showed a saddening story about a father who lost two of his kids because of it. Then the film went on explaining the risks of such gas from a medical perspective.
Phosphine is known to act as a pesticide to kill mice and some bugs. It commercially comes as grey-colored and circle-shaped.
.
The only concern with this substance is that it reacts with humidity to create what is known as the phosphine gas that has an odor of a rotten egg. This gas is considered a deadly poison.
If one’s inhaled the gas, they would experience symptoms such as Headache, nausea, light-headedness and shortness of breath.

Refusing to explore further, we as humans tend to make up these answers for ourselves and this is how stereotypes come about. Misconceptions born of our own ignorance and judgments based on what little knowledge we have. Thousands of cultures and traditions have been co-existing for years and it is when individuals embrace others rather than trying to project their own onto others that the learning begins.
