University funding*
Loans for Master’s degrees are now available to support postgraduate study. Available to UK students*, the loan provides up to £11,570 (2021/22) for taught and research Master’s courses in all subject areas for those studying full-time, part-time or via distance learning.
At the University of Bedfordshire we try to make financing your studies as simple and affordable as possible by offering a wide variety of financial support in the form of bursaries, scholarships and studentships. There are also discretionary funds available to help students, such as the Access to Learning Fund.
Postgraduate Taught Degree Tuition Fee Alumni Discount* If you have previously completed your Honours Degree at the University of Bedfordshire (including the University of Luton and DMU’s Bedford campus) you could be entitled to a 20% alumni discount on full- and part-time Master's courses.
Sports scholarships* If you would like to compete, coach or officiate at the highest level in your sport of interest, or you have already achieved a high standard in your favourite sport, then you could be eligible for one of our Sports Scholarships – available to full-time postgraduate students. Worth up to £1,000, they also offer great additional sporting benefits.

Part-time employment Some of our students decide to top-up their income by working part-time during their studies. Our on-campus Careers and Employability Service is on hand to help you find employment.
Employer sponsorship Your employer may have a budget for staff development and may consider paying all, or part, of the course fees. Employer sponsorship could also extend to a contribution to the cost of books and materials, day release to attend classes or the provision of study time.
