JAX + LUX Mike Jones Mike Jones developed his passion and technical skill in woodworking at a young age. His Grandfather first introduced him to shop life when he was three. From his Grandfather, he learned to appreciate the craftsmanship and process that goes into handmade items. Today, Mike continues his love for woodworking and currently 140 • United Colours of Design Magazine explores his interest in guitar construction and design.
Logan Bales Logan Bales graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design in 2015 with a BFA. While attending OCAD she took various fabrication courses and made use of the wood, metal, and ceramic workshops available to her. After graduation, Logan interned with Informa Global Exhibitions, helping some of Canada’s largest art and craft shows. Today, she is the founding curator at a new gallery located in York Region.
