KICK OFF TO SUMMER 420 State Fair at Nuwu

In a city as extravagant and always happening as Las Vegas, any cannabis consumer could assume that the city would go all out for 4/20 events and deals. And their assumptions would most definitely be correct, as nearly every dispensary, brand and now consumption lounge crafts some form of near fire sale or large event for the Highest of Holidays. All across the Las Vegas Valley and even up north in Tahoe and Reno and in every Nevada dispensary outside of Sin City, 4/20 and the many celebrations dedicated to Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg’s most favorite day is always a sight to behold in The Silver State. Funnily enough despite recently celebrating his 91st birthday, The Red Headed Stranger nevertheless performed an incredible show playing all his classics at the Laughlin Event Center on the always loved day.

For this most important 4/20, in a monumental year that’s already cemented itself in greater cannabis history only five months into the year, the experienced cannabis event planning expert and Cannect Hospitality founder Jenn Tramaglino partnered with the event ticketing and marketing platform found by renowned cannabis businessmen David Tran and James Zachodni to produce an event that was not only massive in terms of overall attendance and scope of the event, but also deeply and warmly nostalgic for any Southern kid such as myself who grew up regularly attending carnivals and the annual State Fair in all its deep fried glory.

“James from Farechild and I were on the phone talking about the 420 landscape in Vegas and started tossing around the idea of hosting something together.” Tramaglino explained. “First, we said it’d be cool to create a Cannabis County Fair, but because we love pulling off crazy shit, it turned into a full blown 420 State Fair real quick.”

This grandiose idea by Tramaglino was actually attempted to be properly planned during the calm before the storm that was the first few months of 2020. However, a global pandemic that stopped the world halted any ambitious plans for a consumptionfriendly state fair-themed celebration. Four years and a massive expansion of the hosting venue later, and the 420 State Fair became a very prosperous reality.

Hosted at the now legendary and expansive venue that has valiantly served as an innovator of public consumption events in Las Vegas for a number of years now, that of course being NuWu, the thousands of open and indoors square footage served as a perfect grounds for all the classically iconic carnival games such as ski ball, milk bottle toss and the absolute cornerstone event of any true State Fair, a pie eating contest. With the exception of a thoroughly greasy turkey leg, a roller coaster that’s seen better

days, and a plethora of foods that should never be deep fried yet were anyway, the 420 State Fair possessed everything that a quintessential state fair would have. And the whole extended cast of memorable characters from every carnival, everyone from the clown to the stilt walkers, were excitedly present. One such clown even wheeled himself across the Sky High Lounge in a Jigsaw-like hilariously small tricycle.

“It was really magical getting to meet guests who traveled to Las Vegas just for the party and see guests spend the whole day with us.” Tramaglino recollected. “We really feel the day was made possible with all the help of our great friends, organization partners and sponsors from the local cannabis community who all participated.”

While certainly not commonplace for the state fairs in several of the states located eastward of Nevada and California, the 420 State Fair was the pristine location of a Group Commitment Ceremony & Vow Renewal hosted by Minister Teresa Schmidt of the Vegas Wedding Chamber and Soul Connections 11:11 that began promptly at 4:20 PM where dozens of couple either renewed their vows or sentimentally expressed their love for one another. Not too long after, JC and Tony from Culture and Cannabis not only curated and coordinated but also hosted the Live Music Showcase.

The 420 State Fair also had a very special toast by one of Nevada cannabis’ most influential elected officials, former State Senator and current Clark County Commission member Tick Segerblom. At the forefront of everything Nevada cannabis business and legislation-related, Segerblom has earned the well deserved moniker of “The Godfather of Vegas Cannabis” and continues to be an ardent supporter of the cannabis industry and the several events that are hosted annually.

Another endlessly fun activity that differentiated from the traditional state fair format was the Puff and Paint section for VIP’s on the second floor of the Sky High Lounge that overlooked the entire state fair. Then again, anything cannabis-related in the slightest would have been strictly prohibited from any state fair or rodeo I grew up attending, so the concept of a cannabis-centric state fair would be instantly foreign to any state east of Nevada.

For the marketing and overall reach and success of the memorable event, the creative partnership with Farechild couldn’t have possibly been more beneficial.

“The 420 State Fair felt like the best culmination of 7 years spent creating crazy, over-the-top events with Farechild.” Tramaglino

stated. “Together we’ve thrown some of the best cannabis parties in Las Vegas, from the DOPE Golden Ticket to the iconic year end Dreamhouse or Shangri-la parties. This time around, Cannect actually co-hosted the 420 State Fair vs. staying behind the scenes doing concepting, fabrication and installations.”

With rescheduling officially on the horizon, Tramaglino knows the long-term and industry-changing ramifications if the federal government were to change or reschedule any substances.

“I definitely believe the rescheduling is going to bring on new laws and regulations related to the Schedule III classification. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out, and what new rules must be followed.

Fusion CBD Products Industry Spotlight

Vegas Cannabis and Wellness Magazine is excited to promote and share information with our readers regarding the most innovative, helpful and healing products. From plant medicine to general wellness, we thrive on the knowledge that these products assist in changing lives and open the minds of people who can benefit from their effects. Fusion CBD Products is all about feeling your best from the inside out. Made with the highest quality ingredients, Fusion products come in a variety of offerings from tinctures to edibles to topicals. I had the opportunity to talk with the Fusion team to find out more about their story, their inspiration, and their future.

Jennifer Walker: Tell us a little bit about your company and how the owner decided to get into the CBD and plant medicine space. Was there any specific reason he was inspired to promote CBD?

Fusion CBD Products: Established in 2019 by founder Danny Campolargo, Fusion CBD Products started off by formulating flavored CBD oil to compliment coffee, later discovering how CBD was benefiting the American lifestyle. We capitalized on this discovery and began formulating new innovative products with our partnered US manufacturers. With our FDA registered and GMP manufacturers partners, we can assure that every Fusion product is produced with the highest quality of USA grown hemp-derived CBD. As our success continued, we strived to prove that our products

worked and can improve daily life. Whether you're a sidewalk stroller or a competitive athlete, we have the products catered to your specific needs. Our brand has been trusted by several professional athletes in the combat sports industry and featured on national sports organizations, such as UFC Fight Pass, BKFC bare knuckle, Most Valuable Promotions, TMT Promotions and RJJ Boxing Promotions. Fusion may be the most recognizable CBD brand in U.S. combat sports right now!

As for the owner, he went through a 3 month Fight Camp after which he was supposed to fight in the BKFC promotion for MS awareness. Unfortunately, the fight did not happen, but he managed to experience what an actual professional fighter goes through mentally and physically. The products that he used during the fight camp are the same as the ones he suggested to all professional fighters to help them with weight cut, muscle recovery and mental focus. At the time of his fight camp, he was 45 years old and weighed 190 lbs. He couldn't run more than 400 meters without gasping for air. Within 30 days, he began feeling stronger mentally, his body began to recover faster, and he lost 10 lbs. By the time he completed fight camp, he was running 2 miles twice a day, putting in 2 sessions of boxing per day and weighed 165 lbs. With these results he stands by his products and understands why more athletes trust our brand. We have a slogan at Fusion: "We're not just a brand, We're a lifestyle". Our mission is to improve everyone's

Healing With Ayahuasca >>> An Interview with Najib Saab of 963 Tribe

Disclaimer: We do not encourage illegal activity, nor the sale or trade of illegal substances. Check with and adhere to your local laws. We do not claim psychedelics or plant medicine to be a substitute for professional medical care. Always consult with your doctor. The goal of this article is to promote safety and education.

There is something profoundly magical about the transformative power of ayahuasca, and few people understand this better than Najib Saab. As the founder of 963 Tribe, a vibrant local religious community and organization specializing in sacred plant ceremonies, Najib has guided countless souls through life-changing ayahuasca journeys.

We had the pleasure of speaking with Najib, and talked about what makes ayahuasca so unique, explored what 963 Tribe ceremonies entail, and discussed how he nurtures his community and curates a safe and beautiful experience for each participant. Whether you're new to ayahuasca or a seasoned psychonaut, Najib's insights offer a fresh and inspiring perspective to this ancient practice.

From Tragedy to Transformation

ceremony for them in San Diego. It was during this journey that Najib finally discovered his purpose: to heal himself so that he could one day facilitate in the healing of others.

“I began traveling to learn everything I could about ayahuasca ceremonies,” he explains.

Najib’s journey to becoming a facilitator began with a life-changing accident that left him questioning his purpose. “I left work late one rainy night, and on my drive home, a car hit me and we both spun out. Shortly after I got out to check on the other car, I was struck by another driver in a Hummer. Luckily someone pulled me out of the road and got me to a hospital,“ he recalls. “The first time I looked in a mirror after the accident, I was surprised to find that I was okay for the most part. I remember laughing hysterically, then crying and asking God: why am I alive?”

During the following months, the subject of ayahuasca made its way onto Najib’s radar, repeatedly coming up until a friend booked a

“After gathering a wealth of knowledge about the practice, I went back to the person who facilitated my journey, a man who was studying within the Shipibo lineage out of Pucallpa, Peru, and he took me on as a student.”

Sacred Plant Ceremony

When we asked how ayahuasca differs from other psychedelics, Najib described the sacred plant’s energy as an embrace from a loving grandmother. The sacrament consists of two plants, the Banisteriopsis caapi vine and the leaf of the chacruna plant, which together, are brewed into a tea. "It comes from the earth, and is consumed in its purest form,” he says.

“When you commune with these plants, you end up meeting an energy or entity called

Ayahuasca. And it knows you—all your trauma, all your experiences, everything. It knows you better than you know you. And it shows you what you need to know however you best receive the information.”

In the weeks prior to the ceremony, Najib encourages participants to follow a specific diet that eliminates salt, sugar, animal products, and other stimulants. This process helps them mentally and emotionally prepare for their journey, while simultaneously uncovering any dependencies they might have. "These sacrifices create a form of reverence for the plants," Najib says. “Each time we are made to release these things, we are reminded of our intention for the journey ahead. It also provides us the chance to differentiate what’s healing from what’s habitual.”

When it’s finally time, the ceremony begins with a beautiful orientation put on by Najib and other facilitators. Participants are then guided through a series of rituals over the next 4 to 6 hours, including an opening prayer, an optional second dose after 2 hours, and ikaros—a medicine song with the purpose of healing and moving energy.

Najib ensures that every participant feels supported throughout the experience by curating a safe and beautiful journey for each individual. Within this compassionate environment, he offers guidance and provides them with a safe space to explore and release what no longer serves them while embracing the love and gratitude that emerges from their healing process.

The Impact of Ayahuasca

Over the years, Najib has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of ayahuasca ceremonies for individuals struggling with addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, and even suicidal ideation.

16 Nevada's Original Cannabis Resource // Since 2014
>>> BY JADEN RAE & Andrea Caple

“Sitting with the sacrament directly helps them in profound ways. I’ve witnessed people successfully detach from SSRIs, Adderall, methamphetamines, as well as other hard drugs and alcohol. I’ve even seen people who’d attempted suicide just weeks prior get a whole new lease on life, and go from just surviving to thriving.”

Najib says participants often discover that their issues originate outside of where they thought they did. "For some, it goes further back, whether that's in their personal history, past lives, or with their ancestors," Najib reveals.

Ayahuasca seems to know just what each individual needs to see through their conscious mind, helping them release negative energies in a process called purging. While many people associate purging with vomiting, Najib says it can manifest in various forms like yawning, crying, and laughter, but oftentimes, it’s a gentler release of thoughts, limiting beliefs, responsibilities for things outside of your control— whatever is holding you back in life.

About 963 Tribe

963 Tribe Church is a 508(c)(1)(a) nonprofit religious institution, and its name is rooted in the Solfeggio Frequency, also known as the "God frequency" (963 Hz), a sacred sound that is believed to connect individuals to the Creator, Spirit, Source, or whatever one personally resonates with.

Currently, the tribe consists of over 300 members and hosts 5 to 6 regular ayahuasca ceremonies every month, including a larger ceremony at the end of each month. They also offer private and semiprivate sessions, along with more intensive 4 to 6-day retreats.

Najib and his team guide participants using Ayahuasca (or in some cases, Bufo), and provide integration support through community events where members can share a meal and discuss their healing journeys. Najib describes the community as “an amazing space where people can come together to share their experiences and support one another."

He advises those curious about ayahuasca to approach it with an open heart and mind, and release any expectations. "The whole purpose of the ceremony is to find whatever truth the sacrament has for you," he says. “But don't seek to do it alone. If you're struggling or suffering, we're here for you.”

You can follow Najib’s journey at 963 Tribe's website, 963tribe.com, or on Instagram at @963tribe.

>>> The Human Impact of Point of Sale System OutageS in Cannabis and Ways to Avoid Them

Transaction management, payment processing, sales, reporting, inventory, customer data- these are a few things under the control of a point of sale system. When the system experiences an outage, the customer experience is negatively impacted, especially on high volume days.

Imagine Walmart experiencing an outage on Black Friday. Amazon going down on Prime Day. Apple crashing on the day an iPhone is released. This happened in the cannabis industry for the third year in a row.

Over 6,000 operators experienced a point of sale system outage on April 20, 2024, impacting dispensary sales across the United States and Canada. Customers hopeful about shopping deals were frustrated. Management was upset about this happening again. The point of sale system provider was getting blasted all over social media. Budtenders were left attempting to mitigate tension.

Point of Sale Outages and the Impact on Customers and Employees

Cannabis retail employees went to LinkedIn, X, and Instagram, and MJBizDaily and provided insight about the outage that lasted more than six hours. The outage disabled online menus, prevented adultuse consumers and medical patients from placing online orders, and erased preprogrammed deals. For some cannabis retailers, the point of sale system outage negatively impacted planned events, product promotions, and discounts.

Imagine the difficulties Budtenders faced as they had to let customers know that they couldn’t process transactions. The face of the customer that heard this for the third year in a row. The buyer and/or manager contacting the point of sale provider and finding no solutions.

In various social media posts, Budtenders sounded off about having to complete transactions using paper and pencil, long wait times, apologizing for an issue they didn’t create, and how their wages were affected over lack of tips.

Volume and Reliability Testing to Prevent a Point of Sales Outage

Retail Technology Group, a retail technology company says business owners have to act on the first sign of the problem.

“Rethink Retail”, a business podcast says: “Don’t make the mistake of waiting until it’s too late.” They shared insight into a study by

PricewaterhouseCoopers. The study found that one in three consumers said they will walk away from a brand they love after a bad experience.

While one industry point of sale system has experienced years of outages on 4/20, others have reported zero outages on 4/20. Some providers build with an outage/ failure in mind. This is something which Cova Software, a cannabis retail software company, does. They say: “The secret is not about never having outages but always building with many back ups in mind.”

Cova Software reported 100% uptime on 4/20 for the 7th year in a row. They say that while reliability is hard to prove in a demo, volume testing isn’t:

“Technology teams should continually monitor, test, and improve systems so that there are no surprises on high volume days. It’s not just 4/20, there is also: Canada Day (7/1), Green Wednesday (the day before Thanksgiving), and Christmas Day.”

For retailers who are nervous about the next big cannabis retail day and think they are stuck with their current point of sale provider, Cova Software says: “you don’t have to be, there are other choices”.

Chamber of Cannabis Hosts Poker Night Fundraiser Raise the Stakes

The Chamber of Cannabis is delighted to announce our annual summer fundraiser on July 20th, featuring our first-ever Poker Night! This vibrant event is designed to unite the community, raise vital funds to ignite positive change, and create unforgettable memories for all attendees.

Combining an elegant poker room and a sophisticated lounge for networking and socializing, the dynamic environment offers everyone a chance to get involved. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, all skill levels are welcome. There will be various tables to accommodate everyone hosted by professional dealers. With ample opportunities to win prizes, both poker and non-poker players are in for a treat.

As a non-profit, the Chamber depends on fundraisers to support our mission and fuel our advocacy efforts to create a thriving and inclusive cannabis industry. Poker Night offers a fantastic opportunity to come together, have fun, and support a cause that impacts us all.

The funds raised from this event are essential for driving legislative initiatives that bring about positive change. In the past, our fundraisers have enabled the Chamber to achieve significant milestones, such as the passing of AB341 in 2021. This groundbreaking bill established state-regulated consumption lounges, creating a new line of commerce for the industry, and defined social equity in the state statute for the first time. Additionally, past funding has helped facilitate the passage of SB277 in 2023, which increased daily purchasing limits and expanded commerce opportunities by consolidating licensing fees and refining specific definitions of the plant. The bill also lowered barriers for entry into the legal cannabis industry, offering more sensible regulations for those with certain convictions.

Dedicated to advocating for the needs of the industry at large, our committees meet monthly to address the concerns of the community and industry stakeholders. Our Commerce Committee diligently attends every CCB meeting and workshop, working alongside them, ensuring proper legislative language and advocating for community needs. The Chamber continuously works to better NCCRs addressing key community concerns, including working to lower the cost of agent cards, as well as testing and labeling requirements.

To further our advocacy for legislative change and the enhancement of the cannabis industry, we need your support. Despite our past successes, our work is far from complete, and much remains to be done. Funds raised from this event will directly support our initiatives aimed at creating a fairer, more just legislative environment in the 2025 legislative session. Your participation is crucial to making these efforts possible.

We invite the entire community to join us for an unforgettable night of fun, connection, and impact. Come for poker, stay for the camaraderie, and leave knowing you've contributed to a meaningful cause. Everyone is invited to Poker Night! Bring your friends, meet new people, and be part of something special. Your presence makes a difference. Let’s have fun raising funds together!

Please visit cofclv.org/go/event-page to join us for Poker Night and explore future events. Limited tickets are available, so don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to support the Chamber of Cannabis and make a difference. We look forward to seeing you there!

To secure critical funding for our advocacy efforts for the 2025 legislative session, the Chamber is seeking sponsors for Poker Night. Sponsorship packages offer a range of benefits, including prominent exposure and recognition at the event. By partnering with us, you can elevate your brand while contributing to meaningful change.

>>>INTERVIEWS BY rocky hernandez jorrell ellis

What made you want to join the cannabis industry and what was your first industry job?

I already loved cannabis and wanted to help others discover the right cannabis product for them! My first industry job was at Nuwu Cannabis Marketplace as a budtender.

Have your views/thoughts about cannabis changed since becoming a budtender?

Yes, I thought I knew everything about cannabis but realized I didn’t and that it’s still a growing industry. I also used to think that cannabis is for everyone but the reality of it is, it’s not, and that’s okay!

What are some misconceptions about budtending?

People think that it’s easy but really there’s so much research that a budtender would have to do to match the right product with the right customer.

What’s the most satisfying part of budtending?

I absolutely love when I have returning customers telling me what I recommended was great and that they trust in my recommendations.

What kind of challenges have you faced that you didn’t expect when you first joined the cannabis industry?

Learning about different terpenes and how it affects people. People always want the highest THC, myrcene, limonene, etc. so it was hard for me to make mental notes of specific products to recommend for my picky connoisseurs.

What’s your favorite topic you like to educate patients on? Tinctures and Topicals!

How do you stay up to date and informed on new products? By going to vendor training at work and also searching up brands/products that I see are new at work.

What do you think budtenders need more of to make the job easier/better? They need to go through crash courses about terpenes and extractions in an interactive class setting, especially if they are new in the industry. It can be overwhelming to learn about products if you don’t have prior knowledge.

Do you see yourself having a long career in the cannabis industry? If so, what’s your long term goals?

I do see myself having a long career in cannabis, I hope to one day help manage a consumption lounge and host exciting events!

What are some of the things you enjoy outside of work?

I love going to raves and trying new foodie spots.

You said you have a passion for fitness, how does cannabis complement your healthy lifestyle?

I love going for a swim/working out and coming home to a nice fat blunt after. It really takes away from feeling sore.

What’s your favorite way to consume?

I’m definitely a blunt type of girl. I roll up fat Backwoods all day!

Do you have any favorite cannabis brands?

Shout out to The Grower Circle, Redwood, and Nature’s Chemistry- great quality all around and I’ve never been disappointed.

Do you prefer a high THC content or a really good terpene profile?

Both. But if I had to pick I would rather have a good terpene profile. That 18% flower might slap more than the highestTHC if it has a good terp profile.

What have you been smoking on?

Head Cheese by Polaris. It has high myrcene which is great for my pain/aches and helps aid with my anxiety.

ALS and cannabis >>> A Day in the Life of a Patient

This is Pam, my daughter-n-law, the mother of my grandchildren, and the wife of my oldest son. She has ALS, the SOD1 gene mutation. Six members of her family have passed from this terrible disease.

ALS Awareness Month: The logistics of ALS

(Written by an ALS patient)

ALS as a medical condition requires an advanced degree in medical logistics; this is due to the ridiculous amount of medical supplies and equipment needed to support a patient. What each patient needs to sustain their health and quality of life differs for each individual. Compounding the complexity of the logistics is the disparity in access to resources of each patient. Inadequate health insurance can make it nearly impossible to obtain needed supplies and equipment. This is why ALS can ruin families- it's a complex and expensive condition to care for.

Here is a laundry list of items needed to maintain a decent quality of life:

Medications: a slew of them, depending on the symptoms one is experiencing. Supplements, mostly antioxidants, are recommended to fight the oxidative process damaging the nerves. DEPENDS, catheters, catheter bags, clean wipes, CHUX or bed liners. This is just a short list of medical supplies.

Equipment: A walker or rollator for when you start having trouble walking, a wheelchair, a power wheelchair if you can get one, a Hoyer lift, a bed cane, grab bars for the toilet and grab bars for the shower. Also needed are a shower chair, a bedside toilet, bedpans and urinals.

When your respiration begins to deteriorate, you need a ventilator otherwise known as a BiPAP, a cough assist, an Aflow-vest and ultimately a tracheotomy. Side note- only 5% of American ALS patients choose to get a tracheotomy. Why you ask? Sadly, it's because it's very expensive to care for a patient with a tracheotomy. Many patients feel it's too much of a burden on the family logistically and financially, so many opt out and prefer to simply pass when the time comes. There's a lot of guilt associated with this final and irreversible procedure.

Does that sound like a lot? Because, it is. If you decide to modify or build a new home, it has to meet ADA standards and has to have ramps leading out of the house at least at two locations, for egress purposes. Eventually, the patient will need either a hospital bed or an adjustable bed. A major expense is a wheelchair accessible vehicle. All of these items are needed not just to provide care to the patient, but to also enhance their quality of life and allow them to continue as active members of the family and their community.

Before I forget, let me share with you what I believed to be two of the most important devices to an ALS patient, aside from the ventilator, more or less from a psychological perspective. First, an augmentative

communication device, better known as an Eye-Gazing Computer. This allows an ALS patient that has lost their voice to continue communicating with their surroundings. Last but not least (and don't laugh at me) my bidet! You see, all we want is to maintain any shred of dignity and independence for as long as possible. Using a bidet assists in that process.

Others have added: Suprapubic catheter and colostomy surgery, their recovery time, and expensive chair lifts for people that have multi-story homes. The countless purchases of medical equipment that end up not working out for your particular situation or end up not working for long since the disease is constantly progressing.

How Does Cannabis Benefit ALS?

Because of the very rapid progression of ALS in the majority of patients, understanding how cannabis could help in the alleviation of symptoms is incredibly important for ALS sufferers.

The available body of evidence suggests that besides the lessening of symptoms, cannabis is also capable of slowing down the overall rate of progression of this horrible condition.

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a vast network of cannabinoid receptors and correlative cells that are activated by these receptors, located in the brain, spinal cord and in vital organs and other tissues. The ECS plays an important role in managing numerous processes, ranging from sleep, mood, immune functions, metabolism, movement and pain.

It ensures that the whole body is in homeostasis, which is an evolutionary trait of living organisms to produce equilibrium and stability in its interdependent elements, and therefore in itself.

Our body produces internal cannabinoids and endocannabinoids, and the compounds from the cannabis plant access the ECS in a similar manner as our own endocannabinoids.

This is how the psychoactive intoxication with THC affects our brain, and this same pathway is activated for the many other medical benefits cannabis has to offer.

Research has identified that even though the primary pathology of ALS is motor neuron degeneration, other non-neuronal cells also contribute to the swift advancement of this disease, particularly the inflammation processes that accompany it. Cannabinoid-based medication helps with slowing down the progression of ALS by lessening the inflammation and hyperalgesia.

In 2010, another pre-clinical study was also conducted on mice, and

30 Nevada's Original Cannabis Resource // Since 2014

published in the American Journal of Hospice and Palliative Care. The results of this research showed even more evidence for the effect of cannabis against the rapid onset of the disease, and also for the overall lessening of ALS symptoms.

A team of scientists in charge of the study concluded that cannabinoids from cannabis possess the versatile effects needed to fight the intricate and complex nature of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

These effects are:

• Antioxidative characteristics

• Anti-inflammatory characteristics

• Neuroprotective characteristics

According to their findings, cannabis increased glutamate uptake which controls the excitability of the brain cells and improved mitochondrial function (mitochondria is an organelle, a part of the cell that creates energy for that specific cell).

Cannabinoids also enhance neurotrophic growth factors, molecules that aid the survival and growth of both new and mature neurons.

Improved engagement of microglial cells is also one of the functions of cannabis that is beneficial for ALS symptoms. Microglias are immune system cells, located specifically in the brain and the spinal cord.

Lastly, the study concluded that cannabis enhanced the activity of antiapoptotic agents, which are in charge of preventing cell-death, also known as apoptosis.

This study pointed out that cannabis may have other useful mechanisms for alleviating ALS symptoms, including saliva reduction, aiding with sleep, an increase in appetite, pain reduction, relaxation of the muscles and bronchodilation effects.

“With respect to the treatment of ALS, from both a disease modifying and symptom management viewpoint, clinical trials with cannabis are the next logical step. Based on the currently available scientific data, it is reasonable to think that cannabis might significantly slow the progression of ALS, potentially extending life expectancy and substantially reducing the overall burden of the disease.”

Cannabinoids from cannabis possess antioxidative, neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory attributes, and are able to obstruct the progression of ALS, while at the same lessening numerous symptoms associated with this illness.

Consuming the entire plant is much more beneficial because of the “entourage effect” produced.

This phrase describes how cannabinoids and terpenes interact to diminish each other’s negative effects (for instance CBD lessens the psychoactivity of THC).

Research performed on human ALS patients showed that cannabis alleviates pain, depression, but also issues with appetite and spasticity. Significant improvements in speech, twitching, swallowing and stool were also reported.

Cannabidiol (CBD) and ALS

As the nature of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis requires several functions of cannabis to happen at the same time, including antioxidative, antiinflammatory and neuroprotective mechanisms, treating ALS with only one isolated cannabinoid (either THC or CBD) wouldn’t be effective because of the lack of the entourage effect.

CBD could offer some relief, but for the full effect, whole-flower extracts should be used because they contain both cannabinoids and terpenes. What is the best strain for ALS?

Choosing the perfect strain for ALS is difficult, because of the complicated nature of the disease. There are a few things that a patient needs to consider for the best possible results.

First, consuming pure sativas or sativa-dominant hybrids is most likely a bad choice because of the energizing trait of these strains.

Secondly, the reason indicas are likely a better choice is the unique combination of THC and healing terpenes found in those strains.

The third and final factor is CBD. The presence of both cannabinoids seems crucial for ALS patients because each provides their own distinct benefits, which are required for the alleviation of complex ALS symptoms.

Additional clinical studies will surely reveal new promising benefits of cannabis for ALS and help us understand the mechanisms behind it with more precision. Let’s continue to hope, pray and research for a cure! To access medical grade hemp derived cannabis products, click the QR code below.

TOURED TO DEATH

Much like yourself, I had no idea that one of the most eminent up-and-coming writers of horror and psychedelic psychological thrillers lives here in Las Vegas. He lives here while preparing himself for Hell, as the writer/musician/ artist proclaims. He lives here when he’s not on the road performing punk rock with his two-piece band, John Wayne Is Dead, or driving endlessly across our decrepit and deprived country to play solo shows in forgotten towns most wouldn’t go to if they were paid a million dollars, much less for the money that a punk rocker makes. He even fits in time to do book signings for his prolific collection of macabre tales. This raconteur I speak of is John Wayne Comunale. He is not only a hard rocking, hard living guitarist and singer, the tattoo-covered artist is also a skilled wordsmith and an exceptional storyteller. His writing captivates you with creepiness and sends your heart racing as you devour each page like a deviant addled savage, hungry for every drop of blood available. Comunale has perfected the craft of writing and his narrative artistry is magnificent. His latest book, Toured To Death, is a backstage pass to a supernatural shadow-world of music that Comunale has experienced, both in reality and in a booze and drug filled fever-dream. Toured To Death takes you on a journey through sordid perils from a road-ragged rock n’ roller crossing over into the twilight zone.

Each chapter is a tour date. Comunale is playing his guitar solo and rolls from one nefarious town to the next. Just trying to play his music and get paid. Along with, hopefully, receiving a handful of drink tickets and free beer in the green room. While on tour with Comunale we cross paths with a vengeful lead singer whose band only sucks a little less than the singer himself. On another date of the tour, Comunale arrives at a show a few minutes late, with no inclination that he will soon have to deal with a hostile soundman who will torment the singer all the way to his next gig. Comunale’s description of waking up with a splitting migraine in a bed that isn’t his hotel bed, with a person he has no recollection meeting, can happen to many people who live on the road and party harder than others might admit to. Comunale gets pulled into a spine-tingling psychotic drug dealer's attempt to retrieve his stash, with guns blazing and a head full of an unknown, lava-like white powder. One of his tour stops along the way, Comunale is caged by a sinister bar owner and forced to do horrific ungodly labor with malformed inbred Frankenstein freaks. All for a private party of monstrous disfigured guests leaving Comunale no hope for escape.

Throughout the tour, Comunale describes living on the road and being a dive bar performer in a way that hits the nail on the head for bands that have been on tour. Those that have not had these musical adventures can envision the experience in detail because Comunale’s intoxicating writing style puts the reader dead center in an environment that a musician deals with on the regular. Like wild women. Toured To Death has its share of wild women. But some women can be too wild, especially if they put you in life or death situations. Romance on the road is like a flash of lightning that can shock and burn like any blast of electricity. Even the close friendships Comunale develops along the way can get out of hand and crazy. One minute you’re drinking beer and doing lines, the next minute you’re running for your life. But it’s invariably the backwoods bullies, with evil in their grotesque eyes and torture on their squalid small mind, that are the most frightening. These are just a few of the stops along the tour…

The squeamish stories in Toured To Death are so haunting that John Wayne Comunale may very well be dead and writing them from the other-side. Although, some say he never even existed to begin with. Nonetheless, if you have ever toured in a band, love disturbing supernatural stories, or just want to read one of the greatest up-and-coming writers of our time before everyone else, then I highly suggest you spark up a bowl and kick back with a copy of Toured To Death for yourself. This book is worth Reading Lit!

You can pick up a copy of Toured To Death by John Wayne Comunale at Avantpop Bookstore or at bookshop.org/shop/avantpop

Cooking with Cannabis

Infused Peach, Arugula, and Blue Cheese Salad

Paired with a THC Infused Peach Sweet Tea

Hello cannabis friends! It's finally summer and Angel and I would love you to indulge in a delightful summer meal with our THC-infused culinary creations. Try this refreshing Peach, Arugula, and Blue Cheese Salad, where juicy peaches meet peppery arugula, tangy blue cheese, and a subtly elevated vinaigrette. Pair that with a cool, relaxing THCinfused Peach Sweet Tea, perfectly complementing the flavors while providing a blissful, uplifting experience. Enjoy responsibly and savor every bite and sip! As always, Bon Appetit!

INFUSED PEACH, ARUGULA AND BLUE CHEESE SUMMER SALAD

INGREDIENTS:

• 4 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced

• 6 cups fresh arugula

• 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese

• 1/4 cup toasted pecans or walnuts (optional)

• 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion

• Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

• 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

• 2 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar or apple cider vinegar

• 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

• 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

• Desired dosage of THC tincture or THC-infused honey (adjust to your preference and legal limits)

• Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

PREPARATION:

Salad: Wash and dry the arugula thoroughly. Place it in a large salad bowl. Pit and slice the peaches. Arrange the peach slices over the arugula. Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese evenly over the salad. Add the thinly sliced red onion on top. If using, add the toasted pecans or walnuts for extra crunch and flavor.

THC-Infused Vinaigrette: In a small mixing bowl, combine the white balsamic vinegar (or apple cider vinegar), honey (or maple syrup), and Dijon mustard. Whisk together until well combined. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while continuing to whisk until the vinaigrette is emulsified and smooth. Add the desired dosage of THC tincture or THC-infused honey. Whisk again to ensure even distribution of the THC. Season the vinaigrette with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Assemble the salad and, just before serving, pour the THC-infused vinaigrette over the salad. Toss gently to combine, ensuring all ingredients are coated with the dressing.

• 4 cups water

• 3 black tea bags

• 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

• 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

• Ice cubes

• THC-Infused Syrup:

• 1/2 cup water

• 1/2 cup granulated sugar

• Desired dosage of THC tincture or THC-infused honey (adjust to your preference and legal limits)

• Fresh mint leaves for garnish

• Peach slices for garnish

• 2 oz bourbon or vodka (optional, for the cocktail version)

PREPARATION:

Peach Sweet Tea Base: Peel and pit the peaches, then cut them into small chunks. In a medium saucepan, combine the peach chunks with 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until the peaches are soft. Remove from heat, add the black tea bags, and let steep for 5-7 minutes. Remove the tea bags and strain the peach mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, pressing the peaches to extract as much juice as possible. Stir in the sugar and lemon juice until the sugar is fully dissolved. Allow to cool, then refrigerate until well chilled.

THC-Infused Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Stir in the desired dosage of THC tincture or THC-infused honey. Mix well to ensure even distribution. Let the syrup cool completely before using.

Mocktail: In a large pitcher, combine the chilled peach sweet tea with the THC-infused syrup. Stir well to mix. Fill tall glasses with ice cubes. Pour the peach sweet tea mixture over the ice. Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves and a slice of peach.

>>> >>> Ask Sarah...

Do you have a question about cannabis and wellness? We have the answers. Email your questions to ask.sarah.vcm@gmail.com.

Hi Sarah,

I use cannabis for pain relief, and I know you do too, so I’m hoping you can help. My question is, what are your 3 favorite strains to reduce pain that you like? I have a few that I like, but oftentimes the recommendation of the budtenders doesn’t really work out, so I tend to stick to the same two strains, but when they run out, I don’t get the relief I need. Thanks Sarah!

Jordan

Hi Jordan,

Thank you so much for writing in and I am happy to help guide you in the right direction. As a patient and research analyst, I’ve learned that the name of the strain means absolutely nothing. Great news though, while I do not have a favorite strain to recommend, I do have favorite terpenes that are great at relieving pain. Terpenes are responsible for not just the scent and taste of our cannabis, but also contribute to the effects we feel. In Nevada, we thankfully have the most dominant terpenes easily found on the label, allowing us to accurately choose our products. My personal favorites are products that have myrcene, linalool, and caryophyllene for pain relief. Furthermore, when you smoke flower or use a product that really helps you, I want you to take note of the terpene percentages present in the cannabis. Next time your dispensary runs out of your go-to strains, you can easily find a different strain, with similar terpenes that will deliver the same effects. This helps you first and foremost not run out of the plant medicine you need; and also allows you to shop around different cultivators and strains. I once only relied on a strain called grape stomper and came to find out, I just really needed a high myrcene strain. I hope this helps you find relief and the flower you need.

Dear Sarah, I used to use cannabis when I was younger and stayed away from it for many

years. However, I want to try using it again to help with my appetite, the aches and pains of aging, and my sleep. Though, I don’t want to smoke it. What kind of products do you think I could try that could possibly help?

Thank you. Also, I love the magazine and your column.

Shirley

Hi Shirley,

Thank you so much for writing in and reading the column. Cannabis and hemp alike can be wonderful for helping with appetite, sleep, and pain. There are many ways to gain the benefits the plants have to offer without smoking them. To begin, you can try using an ingestible product, such as edibles, teas, or tinctures. When choosing ingestible products be sure to use products without added sugars as this can combat the relief you are trying to achieve. A tincture is a great option to get cannabinoids in your body for consistent relief. Furthermore, you can try using topicals to bring relief to a specific area. There are also CBD suppositories that are great for relieving pain and reducing stomach discomfort. When choosing a product, you can try both CBD and THC products as both have the ability to reduce pain, aid in appetite, and help with sleep. You may find a combination of both works best for you or may prefer one over the other. Though if you want to avoid euphoria, CBD does not induce a “high” feeling like THC does. I hope this helps you find a product that brings the support you need.

Dear Sarah, I started using edibles to relax after work and they’ve been great. I was asking various budtenders how long they should last, and unfortunately got a range of opinions. I just never want to run into the issue when I still feel an edible when I

don’t want to. I hope that makes sense. Thanks Sarah!

Stephen

Hi Stephen,

That absolutely makes sense, and I am happy to help clarify how long edibles typically last. The effects of edibles can differ for everyone and are influenced by various factors, such as metabolism. When taking an edible, generally it takes 60 to 180 minutes to feel the effects, lasting around 6 to 8 hours on average. I’d recommend having 6 to 8 hours after you partake in an edible, until you truly know how they affect you personally.

The Ultimate Festival-Goers Survival Guide: >>> What to Bring for an Epic Experience

Festival season is here!

Seasoned music fest pro? First-timer? Doesn’t matter. We've got you covered with this essential festival-goers guide to keep your vibes high and your experience smooth. From blister cushions to phone batteries and everything in between, consider this your festival survival checklist.

The List

Many new festival-goers arrive with one thing in mind: looking good. But veteran festival-heads know there’s a lot more to keeping the experience safe, fun, and worry-free while you’re dancing your ass off. To save you from having to learn the hard way, here are a few things that can help you have the best festival experience possible:

Lighted Totem: We’ve all been there. You arrive with friends, get separated, and spend the rest of the day looking for them. Bringing a unique beacon of bright light will help you easily locate your crew (especially after sunset) and serve as a reliable point of reference throughout the festival grounds. For a cheap version, insert glow sticks into balloons and tape it to a long bamboo stick.

Light Up Finger Gloves, Glow Sticks or Fairy Lights: Light shows are so much fun and these vibrant options are the perfect way to illuminate your moves while connecting with the crowd.

Backup Battery for Phone: A dead phone means you can’t keep in touch with your crew, you can’t capture those epic moments you know you’ll want proof of later, and you can’t summon an Uber or Lyft at the end of the night. Bring a fully charged backup battery to stay connected.

Anti-theft Backpack or Fanny Pack with Inside Zipper: Theft is a real problem at festivals. Keep your essentials safe and secure with an anti-theft bag. Whether it’s an inside zipper or a hidden pocket, peace of mind is priceless in the chaos of a festival.

Blister Cushions for Your Feet: Dancing all day (and night) can take a toll on your tootsies. With a couple blister cushions, you’ll be comfortable and able to keep dancing without a hitch.

Ear Plugs: Hearing loss is no joke, and it can happen sooner than you think from exposing yourself to a barrage of loud sounds. Protect your ears while still feeling the beat with a pair of quality ear plugs. Your future self will thank you.

Electrolytes: Staying hydrated is KEY at festivals, especially when you're moving and grooving under the sun. Bring a packet (or a few) of Liquid IV to add to your water so you can stay hydrated and keep your energy levels up.

Write Down Phone Numbers: In the rare but frantic chance that you lose your phone entirely, having important phone numbers on your person will help you reach out to friends or call for assistance, even from a borrowed device.

Disposable Funnels for the Ladies: Festival toilets and porta potties can be rough, and it’s even more gross for those of us without the… equipment to stand while we pee. It might sound totally strange, but urinary funnels might be the best festival decision you can make. With a device that allows you to wee while standing, you can avoid direct contact with unsanitary surfaces, handle your business with ease, and then chuck that thing right in the trash.

Alka-Seltzer: Whether you're nursing a hangover or battling an upset stomach from festival food, a few Alka-Seltzer tablets can be a great quick fix (though it’s advised NOT to take them with alcohol).

Share Your Location with Your Friends: Another great way to avoid getting lost at a festival is to enable location sharing with your friends so you can track each other. Apps like Life360 or Find My Friends (for iPhone users) are perfect for keeping tabs on your crew.

Rave Wear: Look the part and feel comfortable while you dance the night away. Deja Vu’s Adult Emporium on Tropicana in Las Vegas has a great selection of festival wear that’ll help you stand out and express your style.

Zippered Scrunchie: For added security, get yourself a zippered scrunchy to stash your keys and chapstick in. The hideaway compartment will ensure all your small essentials stay close to your person in an inconspicuous way, so it’s less likely to be targeted by pickpockets.

Bug Spray: Festivals unfortunately coincide with a lot of flying pests, including mosquitos. Bring a small can of bug spray (or look up natural solutions) to ensure you don't end up as a bug buffet.

Test Kit: If you’re planning to partake, ALWAYS bring a test kit to make sure that what you’re indulging in is what you think it is. Fentanyl is a serious and growing issue you can’t afford to gamble with. You can order test kits from dancesafe.org.

And there you have it! We hope this comprehensive list of festival must-haves allows you to have the best experience possible this festival season. Stay safe and have fun!

JUNE HOROSCOPES

ARIES (MARCH 19 – APRIL 19)

A strong urge to explore new horizons and embark on exciting adventures makes it difficult to focus on work this month. While lingering commitments may cramp your style, it’s important to take space from these obligations wherever you can fit it in. Don’t be afraid to go out with friends on a weeknight if you need to blow off some steam. Consider planning a vacation to satisfy your wanderlust if you can’t break away. The monotony of work leaves you feeling restless and eager for excitement. Try not to let this restlessness manifest as irritability or impatience, as this could lead to future regrets. It’s an ideal time to fill your cup with creative endeavors that challenge your critical thinking. Embrace enriching activities that equate to progress so you don’t feel so stuck such as redecorating or reviving neglected hobbies.

TAURUS (APRIL 19 – MAY 20)

Be cautious of overthinking things as you may find yourself fighting a pessimistic outlook. Long standing emotional barriers and unresolved issues may resurface, potentially triggering feelings of depression. You will likely come face to face with feelings of jealousy, especially when confronted with the success of others or tantalizing advertisements for luxury vacations. It’s essential to shift your focus away from comparisons and instead appreciate the blessings and comforts that currently exist in your life. Rather than succumbing to despair, view this as a valuable opportunity for transformation. When Mars enters Taurus on the 8th, you’ll find yourself empowered to harness the inner strength to pursue your goals with patience, persistence, and practicality. By staying grounded, open to new possibilities, you can make significant progress towards achieving your desires instead of falling victim to the same cycles of the past.

GEMINI (MAY 20 – JUNE 20)

You're the life of the party this month Gemini! No wonder, with your witty banter and quick witted remarks you will have the rest of the zodiac at your fingertips. In fact, it’s an ideal time to inquire about a salary increase at work or similar desirable benefits. With Mercury moving into Gemini on June 3rd, this period presents prime opportunities for expanding your skills and excelling in your professional endeavors. Your rhetoric is sharp and you easily capture the attention of superiors for your effective communication. However, it’s crucial to exercise caution, as Mercury’s influence can be unpredictable leading to potential pitfalls if relied upon too heavily. You may be tempted to resort to deceitful tactics that others are slow to pick up on but just know it will always catch up to you.

CANCER (JUNE 20 – JULY 22)

The planets align for a month that feels really good for you starting with Venus entering Cancer on the 16th, followed by Mercury on the 17th, and

the Sun on the 20th. You exude confidence and magnetism, captivating others with your irresistible charm and allure. Things feel right and you aren’t questioning yourself as much. Embrace this heightened sense of self assurance and don’t hesitate to act on your desires, whether forging new connections or indulging in playful flirts. Your tender demeanor and nurturing instincts will leave a lasting impression in your relationships, drawing admirers to your side and deepening connections you may already have. Heightened levels of tenderness and care may open you up for others to exploit your generosity. Exercise caution avoiding involvement in projects where your efforts may go unnoticed or undervalued.

LEO (JULY 22 – AUGUST 22)

In June, you will find yourself grappling with heightened emotional intensity and a tendency toward reactive behavior. Situations may arise that trigger strong emotions, leading to outbursts that are difficult to control. You may find yourself taking things more personally than usual. Under the influence of Mars, you will experience heightened unpredictability and nervousness throughout the month. While this may lead to difficulties in maintaining composure in the face of negativity from others, it also fuels your drive and initiative. Despite these challenges, you’ll be infused with an abundance of energy propelling you towards success in any physical endeavors. Embrace this potential and consider participating in competitions to blow off some steam.

VIRGO (AUG 22 – SEPT 22)

You are struggling with a sense of dissatisfaction and stagnation in various aspects of life. Despite efforts to shift your mindset, feelings may lead to a downward spiral of negativity. This mood may become palpable to those around you, resulting in friends and acquaintances distancing themselves. This month you struggle with demotivation and nervousness, particularly in your professional endeavors, likely manifesting as a reduction in productivity and increase in errors. Criticism from others won’t help. It’s important to take responsibility for your emotions and not blame those around you. Take proactive steps to address your inner turmoil by seeking solace in nature where the tranquility of the outdoors can provide much needed peace. Cultivate a more positive outlook by remembering that no one has it all figured out.

LIBRA (SEP 22 – OCT 22)

You may find yourself struggling with a pervasive sense of uncertainty and self doubt. The need for constant validation and reassurance from others may become tiresome to those around you, leading to feelings of boredom and frustration. Mounting anxieties may hinder concentration and productivity posing challenges to effective time management. Amidst these challenges, you can find solace and support in those people who offer unwavering encouragement during trying times. It’s important to be selective over who you allow access to you but you also need to communicate your needs clearly. Don’t hesitate to seek comfort when it’s needed. It’s crucial to prioritize self care as you deal with the underlying nervousness that

46 Nevada's Original Cannabis Resource // Since 2014

complicates things this month.

SCORPIO (OCT 22 – NOV 21)

Buckle up! It’s a roller coaster of feelings this month thanks to the transition to Cancer season and the planets in signs that intensify your emotions. These feelings will dominate your interactions and perceptions. Try not to take things personally and take time before reacting as you are likely to be highly sensitive. It’s essential not to take things too seriously during this time, as this could potentially strain relationships. Steer clear of situations that may trigger you and instead focus on activities that bring genuine joy and fulfillment. Exploring your spiritual side whether through literature, workshops, meditations, or immersive nature experiences can be helpful for channeling emotional energy constructively during this intense period.

SAGITTARIUS (NOV 21 – DEC 21)

This month presents an opportune time to declutter and reorganize your space and life in general. Take time to purge belongings that no longer serve a purpose and donate them to those in need. This will improve your karma and help provide a harmonious environment encouraging clarity. A significant encounter with someone who serves as a guiding light will illuminate your path forward, offering valuable insights and guidance for the road ahead. They will help you embark on a transformative journey of releasing the past and embracing the present moment. Be cautious of overexertion as you may be prone to injuries. Set realistic goals for yourself and try more slow paced physical activities such as hiking and yoga.

CAPRICORN (DEC 21 – JAN 20)

Fortunate opportunities are on the horizon, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. You will experience a surge of tenderness and emotional depth, igniting a longing for more stable and meaningful relationships. You are able to captivate even those you least expect but your focus will be on establishing genuine connections, encouraging mindfulness and caution when meeting new people. You are in a social mood and are feeling more outwardly supportive than usual which may help you rekindle old friendships. Your progress and achievements will impress these past connections, improving your confidence. The Full Moon in Capricorn on the 21st may put you in a critical mood. You will want to take proactive measures around this time to manage stress and emotional strain by keeping to yourself.

AQUARIUS (JAN 20 – FEB 18)

You are feeling free and nothing can stop you! Your restless spirit is seeking attention and adventure, leading to a whirlwind of experiences. Parties and social gatherings will be abundant, offering the opportunity to live life spontaneously. Your sense of humor

draws the attention of many admirers who are captivated by your charisma. Be cautious of overusing this to your advantage, as you may find yourself in troublesome situations without a clear exit strategy. Despite your carefree demeanor, it’s crucial not to neglect your responsibilities entirely. Postponing too much could result in a pile up of tasks later on, disrupting your freedom and independence. Strike a balance between enjoyment and accountability to make the most of this dynamic and eventful month.

PISCES (FEB 18 – MAR 19)

Everything feels easier this month, even though you encounter a whirlwind of changes presenting both opportunities and challenges. How you approach these situations will determine how they impact your life. Your straightforward nature allows you to navigate things without compromise. You should do exactly what you feel like and trust your intuition to take you to where you need to be. Embrace spontaneity and indulge in adventurous pursuits. Fateful events and significant opportunities are on their way to you if you seize the moment, especially when it comes to career prospects and connections with those around you. A single action could lead to life altering outcomes so remain open to new possibilities.
