We do not keep grudges and secrets as we always discuss on challenges we face and topics that makes us unhappy at that time to clear the air. Most of my inspiration comes from the virtuous women in the bible mainly Rachel. She inspires me in many ways with her humbleness, hard work and wisdom. I have also learnt that no one can distruct a woman with a vision and never to underestimate the power of a praying woman. I value and treasure my family who has helped me to build my brand and I give glory unto the Most High God who has and remains faithful to me. My message to women out there is start something of your own, and be your own boss, identify your talent, passion and persue it, it can be farming, chicken rearing, buying and selling etc. These days men wants women that can chip in and help out in some areas not dependent women.
Remember to do business that is not harmful to others or community e.g selling drugs etc. Stay humble and pray for your family. My favourite say is Pray, Hustle & Mind your own

Madzimai Corner LOVE & SEX
Knowing the difference makes the difference. Welcome to Madzimai CORNER đ&#x;”ž Once again we take you deeper into the bedroom. Let's talk about SEX & LOVE. Most people confuse the two. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LOVE
AND SEX. When two individuals make love, their vulnerability levels are pretty high. This is often a result of sharing emotions and words that they may not have done before. Both persons tend to let their guard down and risk and reward come into play. During love making, one experiences unique closeness with their partner and find it difficult imagining other moments happening without them. On the other hand when you are having sex with someone, although the vulnerability still plays a role, it is of a different kind. Namely, one may be afraid of the sexual intercourse not being good or losing the needed chemistry. Also, one may question if his/her sexual needs will be received well or not. Love and sex are two different things. Some believe that the two are almost interchangeable. They assume that if sex is present, then love is as well. This can lead down some very rough roads. Others believe that the two aren't connected at all. They believe that you can easily have
one without the other without any lasting effects. Sexual desire and love lead to some of the same reactions in your brain. That means it can be easy to confuse what you are experiencing. This is why some people struggle to think that they are in love after they have sex when the other person doesn't. Sexual desire is one way to show love to another person, however you can have sex without love being present, but then sex is just sex. There is nothing more to it. Even if you physically enjoy it, there will be a level of emptiness that comes with making love when love is absent. There is no real meaning to it. You know that it leads to nothing else. But when you love the person that you are with, it takes the sexual experience to a deeper level because emotional needs are being met as well as physical needs. People Try Unsuccessful to Fill the Void of Love with Sex.
short- term. There is no lasting positive impact from one- night stand or empty sex. However, if this person starts to experience a loving relationship, they don't have to go out hunting for the next hookup. Whether they want to admit it or not, they are filling the void of love in their life with sex. If you believe that love and sex are the same things , and not just Connected, you will be led into sexual experiences because you are seeking love and believe you will find it by making love. This is only setting yourself up to be hurt. Love and sex are Connected but not the same. Many people will have sex with you to try to meet their needs, even if they have no feelings of love for you. FACT IS, you either use people or get used by people- when you are in a loving relationship, you both want the same thing which eventually promotes your sexual compatibility. Your sexual experiences are deepening your relationship and you want to please each other both in bed and out of bed. Examples of 2 different people who just wants sex for sex.
Some people are constantly on the lookout for one - night stands. They aren't even looking for a relationship they are just looking to hook up. There is no love involved in these types of connections, it is poorly sexual. The reason for this person has to keep searching for the next experience is that sexual fulfilment is

1) Someone can just want sex when he/ she feels sad because he/ she likes the comfort the physical holding provides. Some people wants to be held when they are sad, infact the need to be held when one feels sad is biologically programed into our brains. 2) Some people desire sex when they are lonely. They believe it is weak to let someone know that they feel lonely and wants company. Alternatively, they think it is acceptable to find and ask for sex, which satisfies their need for human connection.

QUESTION Is having sex and making love the same? No When having sex, the intimacy has to do with merging physical needs and body parts with the other partner, whereas love making is more about connecting your minds and souls through the act of sexual intercourse. QUESTION Can someone have sex with someone for more than a year without falling in love? Yes You can have a year of steamy casual sex with someone and never fall in love. QUESTION Does sex increase love? Sexual excitement is a core emotion. And each core emotion has a program, this program causes specific physical sensations and impulses to arise inside us at the moment when a particular emotion is triggered. Sexual excitement is often physically felt as sensations in the groin are with an impulse to seek orgasmic release. Sadness, anxiety, loneliness, anger , and dear are other emotions that can combine with sexual excitement. The mixture of the tender emotions with sexual excitement is the brilliant way the mind can make sure core human needs are met consciously covert yet culturally acceptable ways.
Sex in a monogamous relationship increases your level of commitment and emotional connection with the other person. Expressing love through sex increases the likelihood of couples staying together. As a result sex positively associated with a lower divorce rate. TO BE CONTINUED...... TEENAGE PREGNANCIES ON THE RISE IN AFRICA
eenage pregnancy continues to be a challenge for most countries especially those in Africa. When girls and women give birth early they reduce their chances of getting academically empowered and most of their career opportunities are stripped off them.
.Violence against women are among the factors associated with a higher likelihood of unintended inpregnancies.
So far due to the Pendemic (Covid-19) there has been a significant rise in teenage pregnancies. WHAT IS TEENAGE PREGNANCY? Teenage pregnancy is when a woman under 20 years old gets pregnant. It usually refers to teens between the ages of 15-19. But it can include girls as young as 9. It’s also called adolescent pregnancy. WHAT IS THE MINIMUM LEGAL FRAMEWORK AROUND MARRIAGE IN ZIMBABWE ? On Wednesday 20 January 2016, the Constitutional court ruled that section 22 of the Marriage Act is unconstitutional and therefore “ no person , girl or boy should be married before the age of 18”. The ruling includes marriages under Customary Marriages Act which had previously not had a minimum age requirement. SOME OF THE FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO TEENAGE PREGNANCY 1. AT COMMUNITY LEVEL .Poverty .Rural residence .Cultural norms that foster gender inequality
V I C I O U S CO L L E C T I O N S I S S U E 0 7
2. AT HOUSEHOLD FAMILY LEVEL .Poverty (lack of family support) .Death of Parents .Lack of communication with parents about sex encounters .Single parent family structure are associated with early- unintended pregnancies. 3. STRUCTURAL FACTORS associated with the increased level of early pregnancy include .Restrictive policies such as laws on age of concern for contraceptives .Healthcare systems failures .Inadequate access to contraceptives as well as epileptic availability and access to reproductive healthcare services. PEER PRESSURE Peer pressure could influence the typical teenager’s perception about sexuality so much so that teenagers tend to conform to the norms about sexual behavior which are deemed acceptable to the peer group to which she belongs. Peer pressure has been found to significantly influence teenage pregnancy. Parents and guardians should be mindful of the friends their children associate with.
20
Educators, counsellors and stakeholders in the school setting should pay close attention to teenagers in this crucial stage of their development and apply tact in giving reorientation to pupils who exhibit character traits that are symptomatic of deficiencies in parental upbringing as this can curtail the influence they may have in their peers. ABSENT PARENTS A father’s absence ups a daughter’s risk for early sexual activity and teenage pregnancy, according to a recent long term study. Previous research has attributed a girl’s increased risk of pregnancy to the possible consequences of a father leaving - lower family income, conflict and
a weak parental monitoring. POVERTY In rural areas girls are sometimes married off to reduce their perceived economic burden, with their bride price (lobola) used by families as a means of survival. Usually girls from Zimbabwe’s poorest households are more likely to marry before the age of 18 than girls living in the richest households. Some of these teenagers become parents to their siblings when their parents die and these teenagers are forced to drop out of school and look after the younger ones. Sleeping in empty stomachs leads some of these teenagers to engage into sexual intercourse in exchange of money , groceries and paying bills for the family.
If a girl engages in pre- marital sex, is seen with a boyfriend or returns home late, she is sometimes forced to marry to mitigate the shame. Some girls who fall pregnant choose to enter customary marriages because they are afraid their family will abuse them for dishonourable behaviour. c) TRADITIONAL CUSTOMS Virginity testing is still practiced in some parts of Zimbabwe. Girls who are found to no longer be virgins are shamed into wearing a mark on their forehead and are required to find another virgin for their husband to marry as compensation. OBSERVATIONS Adolescent sexual and reproductive health is an issue of immense concern globally and is part of the overall objective to achieve universal access to efficient healthcare services. Social, cultural, religious and economic factors have an important impact on the progress of sexual and reproductive health among adolescents. There is a growing number of unexpected pregnancies among secondary school students, translating into school drop outs, unsafe abortion, early marriages, child abandonment and different health issues associated with early age child bearing including martenal mortality. Discussions about providing secondary with condoms have intiated to promote safe reproductive and sexual health among secondary school students. There are uncertainties in regard to the future of the growing generation , on both sides of claimers , where some want to protect youth against risky sexual behaviours, while others want to preserve social and cultural norms, which are among the country’s identity. Other people recognize distributing condoms as a last resort needed as a solution to protecting and promoting the sexual and reproductive health rights of the youth in secondary schools. As adolescents are considered to be sexually active and providing them with condoms is considered as the lack of societal norms and would mean that parents (and educators ) have failed their responsibilities.
LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND SUPERVISION Many adolescent girls become pregnant because they lack the information needed to make informed decisions about their sexuality, family planning, and their reproductive health services , while other are coerced into sex and require protection and access to health services and support. FORCED MARRIAGES a) RELIGION Some churches still encourages girls as young as 10 to marry much older men for “spiritual guidance” Men in some of these churches are entitled to marry girls to shield them from pre-marital sex. b) FAMILY HONOUR

That’s the “MILLION DOLLAR “question of the decade.
Obviously abstinence is the wish, but that’s not the reality.
It is important to acknowledge that different socio- economic factors play a big role in youth intiation to sexual activity and this may be different from developed and developing countries. Having said the above , below are some of the responses we got from different people in Zimbabwe about the topic (SHOULD CONDOMS BE DISTRIBUTED IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS?) N.M YES No matter how much we try to hide, the fact is that kids are engaging in sex much earlier than parents/guardians/young adults think. Its much better for them to be educated about the use of protection and prevention of diseases and mostly pregnancy. Having a baby changes dreams and best-laid plans.
T.K NO! It’s a no for me, instead pads should be distributed I’m schools instead. A.F YES In response to TK’s answers , it’s rather better to give out condoms than pads, just looking at the rate of teenage pregnancy cases during this lockdown period makes us believe this can be one of the solutions to these teenage pregnancy issue. As I speak a number of teenage girls are going to school pregnant in my neighborhood. E.E NO! Distribution of condoms in schools It’s a no for me. It’s better for them to collect these condoms from health centres or for parents to collect on their behalf and give them at home. A.S NO! Let’s be practical who in their right minds as parents would give their kids condoms? Most parents fail to teach their own children about puberty and menstruation amongst other things, and you think they can sit down with their kids and talk about sex ? S.S YES! As for me its a big YES, you know why? Because its better to teach those teens how to practice safe sex than to start teaching them and giving them condoms after they get pregnant. You should know that these kids have already started indulging in sexual activities anyway. Someone said give them pads instead but are pads ways of protecting a child from getting pregnant?

ALEX BULAWAYO NO! ITS A BIG NO FOR ME! Before I go deeper into this topic, let’s all take this moment and visualize what iam about to say. Imagine giving your child a condom as she goes to school everyday. Imagine the exchange of glances between you and her and imagine the words you tell her as you give her the condom or place it in her satchel or uniform pocket. So far how do you feel? I guess you felt the discomfort as you were reading and picturing that scenario. So there you have your perfect answer. Let all parents feel that same feeling you felt as you imagined giving your own child a condom. We say actions speak louder that words right?.
By giving your child that condom, are you not encouraging her to go and have sex? And tell me, will you be able to look her in the eye and say ‘my daughter take this’ and give her every single day of your life? Aren’t you portraying your daughter as a sex addict or encouraging her to be one? Parents are role models to their children and when you give your child a condom, won’t she feel it’s alright to indulge in sex at that age and before marriage? Will she then value her virginity after this? Hence you the person she looks up to for advise and career guidance is giving her the go ahead to have
sex tool? If you then catch your child watching pornography what then will you say to her? Will you stop her from watching or? I feel that giving condoms to school children is also promoting those that haven’t indulged in sex to start planning to do so to feed their curiosity. This is how i visualize this, as it’s always best to visualize everything first to feel the impact, when you put yourself in the situation. G.G NO! Distributing condoms in schools is a motive for children to practise sex at school. The primary purpose of going to school is learning and doing sports, so they shouldn’t have time for sex. Most of these sexual active teenagers do not indulge in sex activities at school but homes and other secret places. So maybe these condoms should be accessible from community stores not in schools. T.S NO Teach them about God yes and also teach them about safe sex and abstaining. The real problem in parents is, you are never open and honest with your children. Do not tell the child not to indulge in sex only but tell them the disadvantages of having sex at their age and give them examples of people in the community who indulged and ended up pregnant, infected and maybe who died trying to abort or committed suicide. Sometimes it’s better to show your true experience with your teenage child, If you were a victim of these teenage pregnancy or if you indulged in sex in your teenage stage tell her the truth and what happened to you after, lying to her that you were straightforward and never indulged in sex in your teenage life is a disaster because when she finds out that you lied to her she can become rebellious. The problem is most mothers wants to potray themselves as saints yet they might have been wild during their time and they cannot talk about their past experiences to their children to protect their statuses. Let’s remind each other to keep planting trees especially this rainy season trees grow very well. Let’s make it upon ourselves to plant at least 5 trees this season. This month I will be talking about Mango tree. Mango trees are deep- rooted plants that may become large specimens in the landscape. The antioxidant and antimicrobial properties of mango leaves can help treat various ailments effectively. Here are 10 surprising benefits of mango leaves that you may have not known. 1. WHAT IS YOUR BLOOD TYPE?
Most people are actually realising that they do not know their blood type. Knowing your blood type can be crucial in a medical emergency, but it can also offer some interesting insight into your health. See how your blood type might play a role in your well-being, based on results of some recent studies. Blood types are determined by the presence or absence of certain antigens (proteins on the red blood cells) – substances that can trigger an immune response (cause your body to fight) if they are foreign to the body. There are four major blood groups determined by the presence or absence of two antigens – A and B – on the surface of red blood cells. In addition to the A and B antigens, there is a protein called the Rh factor, which can be either present (+) or absent (–), creating the 8 most common blood types (A+; A-; AB+; AB-; B+; B-; O+& O-) Your blood group is determined by the genes you inherit from your parents. Each biological parent donates one of two ABO genes to their child. The A and B genes are dominant and the O gene is recessive. For example, if an O gene is paired with an A gene, the blood type will be A. Other possible combinations of parents and outcome blood type below:-
Is it possible to have a different blood type from both your parents? Yes as illustrated below
Heart Disease Of the eight main blood types, people with type O have the lowest risk for heart disease. People with blood types AB and B are at the greatest risk, which could be a result of higher rates of inflammation for these blood types. A hearty health lifestyle is particularly important for people with types AB and B blood. Cancer Studies have found that people with blood type A or AB are at higher risk for stomach cancer. Additionally, if you have A, B or AB blood types, you may have an increased risk for pancreatic cancer. If you fall in this grouping, stock up on caner fighting foods, which can help reduce the risk for developing cancer. The best cancer-fighting foods • Apples. • Berries. • Cruciferous vegetables.
• Carrots. • Fatty fish bream • Legumes: beans, peas Stress If you have type A blood, you may have more trouble handling stress. Those with type A tend to have heightened levels of cortisol, the stress hormone, in the body. There are small steps to reduce anxiety and stress and how to stay healthy. Like exercises, talking about it, downloading apps that help dealing with stress and playing with toys like spinners.Knowing your blood type is one more way to better understand and manage your health. While your blood type is a genetic gift that cannot be altered, making healthy choices can help you reduce the risks to your health. Can blood type affect fertility? A woman's blood group could influence her chances of getting pregnant, scientists have found. Those with blood type O may struggle to conceive due to a lower egg count and poorer egg quality, while those with blood group A seem to be more fertile. FSH levels greater than 10 suggest a woman will have more difficulty conceiving than those whose levels are under 10. A high FSH level indicates a diminished ovarian reserve, which refers to both egg quality and the number of eggs left available for fertilisation. Ovarian reserve tends to decline significantly as a woman reaches her middle and late 30s and faster in the early 40s. The study found that women who were blood type O were twice as likely to have an FSH level greater than 10 as those in any other blood group. The findings held true even when a woman's age was taken into account and the fact the women came from two different clinics. Meanwhile, those with blood group A were "significantly less likely" to have an FSH level greater than 10 than those who were blood group O. Is there a blood type that causes miscarriage? Blood Incompatibility When the mother has type O blood and the baby has B blood type or A blood type (from the father), research has found that there's a 20 percent incompatibility rate which could result in new born jaundice or a possible miscarriage. Which blood groups should not marry? People with Rh compound are termed as Rh positive and people without the Rh compound are known as Rh negative. It is very important that couples get their Rh checked before getting married or having a child, as it can raise complications in the baby. If the mother is rhesus negative and the father is rhesus positive, the baby can be rhesus positive causing the mother to be sensitised during delivery. This will cause miscarriages in future pregnancies.

5 THINGS PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT TEETH WHITENING. What causes teeth to look yellow? Food & Drink Coffee, tea and red wine are some major staining culprits. What do they have in common? Intense color pigments called chromogens that attach to the white, outer part of your tooth (enamel) Tobacco Use Two chemicals found in tobacco create stubborn stains (tar and nicotine). Tar is naturally dark. Nicotine is colorless untill it’s mixed with oxygen. Then, it turns into a yellowish, surface-staining substance. Age Below the hard, white outer shell of your teeth(enamel) is a softner area called dentin . Over time, the outer enamel layer gets thinner with brushing and more of the yellowish denti shows through. Trauma If you’ve been hit in the mouth, your tooth may change color because it reacts to an injury by laying down more dentin, which is a darker layer under the enamel. Medications Tooth darkening can be a side effect of certain antihistamines, antipsychotics and high blood pressure medications. Young children who are exposed to antibiotics like tetracycline and doxycycline when their teeth are forming (either in the womb or as a baby) may have discoloration of their adult teeth later in life. Chemotherapy and head and neck radiation can also darken teeth.
you should notice difference in the appearance of your teeth overtime. Instructions Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 2 teaspoons of water and brush your teeth with the paste. You can do this a few times per week. Eating Fruits and Vegetables A diet high in fruits and vegetables may be good for both your body and your teeth. While they’re no substitute for brushing them, crunchy, raw fruits and vegetables can help rub plaque away as you chew.
BELOW ARE SIMPLE WAYS YOU CAN NATURALLY USE TO WHITEN YOUR TEETH OIL PULLING Oil pulling is a traditional Indian folk remedy meant to improve oral hygiene and remove toxins from the body. The practice involves swishing oil around in your mouth to remove bacteria which can turn to plaque and cause teeth to look yellow. Instructions Put 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in your mouth and push and pull through your teeth for 15 to 20minutes. Practicing this daily can reduce plaque and may brighten your teeth. Brush with Baking Soda Baking soda has natural whitening properties, which is why it’s a popular ingredient in commercial toothpaste. It’s a mild abrasive that can help scrub away surface stains on teeth. Additionally, baking soda creates an alkaline environment in your mouth, which prevents bacteria from growing. This is not a remedy that will whiten your teeth overnight, but

Strawberries and pineapple are two fruits that have been claimed to help whiten your teeth. Strawberries Whitening your teeth with a strawberry and baking soda mixture is a natural remedy that has been made popular by celebrities. Proponents of this method claim that the malic acid found in strawberries will remove discoloration on your teeth, while baking soda will buff away stains. Pineaple Some claim that pineapple can whiten teeth. A study found that a toothpaste containing bromelain, an enzyme found in pineapples, was significantly more effective at removing tooth stains than a standard toothpaste. Other few natural teeth whitening methods that are not proven include 1. Activated Charcoal Brushing with powdered charcoal supposedly pulls toxins from the mouth and removes stains from teeth. 2. Kaolin Clay Proponents of this method claim that brushing with clay helps remove stains from teeth. 3. Fruit Peels Rubbing orange, lemon or banana peels on your teeth is claimed to make them whiter. 4. Apple Cider Vinegar There is no evidence that using vinegar as a mouthwash helps whiten your teeth. On the contrary, it weaknens the enamel and promotes tooth decay.
Advocates of these methods claim they make teeth significantly whiter, but no studies have evaluated their effectiveness. This also means that they have not been tested for side effects when used on teeth. TEETH BLEACHING How does teeth bleaching work? Teeth bleaching is a simple process, whitening products contain one of two tooth bleaches(hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide). These bleaches break stains into smaller pieces which makes the color less concentrates and your teeth brighter. Does Whitening Work on All Teeth No. Which is why it’s important to talk to your dentist before deciding to bleach your teeth, as whiteners may not correct, all types of discoloration. For example, yellow teeth will probably bleach well, brown teeth may not respond as well and teeth with gray tones may not bleach at all. Whitening will not work on caps, veneers, crowns or fillings. It will also won’t be effective if your tooth discoloration is caused by medications or a tooth injury. Are There Any Side Effects from Teeth Whitening? Some people who use teeth bleaches may experience tooth sensitivity. That happens when the peroxide in the bleach gets through the enamel to the soft layer of dentin and irritates the nerve of your tooth. Overuse of teeth bleaches can also damage the tooth enamel or gums, so be sure to follow directions and talk to your dentist.

A Word from United Women in Music on GBV Article compied by Tsitsi Ndabani
Tsitsi Ndabambi Observing the 16 days of activism against gender based violence, which is from 25 November to 10 December, Zimbabwean women in arts had these wise words to share with the world concerning the increasing gender based violence in this land. This year’s theme is “Orange the World.” Chioneso Rutsito, "If talking it out is not working, fighting it and toughening it out can be harmful and dangerous, walking out is always a better option. Say No to any form of GBV. You are precious." Bethen Pasinwako, "Women and girls have been beaten, raped and tortured each year in their thousands and these are quite atrocitious statistics. It's unimaginable the rate at which this keeps happening and something needs to be done to put an end to cruelty. We all need to take action to bring to attention issues of GBV, the situation
is quite dire and a lot needs to be done. WE MUST ALL ACT!!" Kessia Masona Aka Muchaneta "Take heart and remain courageous and do not lose hope. Life is too short to live in misery, like a snail that regenerates it's skin after encountering scares so can you. Always know that I care for you and that there are women who care. Best of luck in your knew beginning." Novuyo, "Let us make sure perpetrators of gender based violence don't buy their way out. Corruption and GBV have a close relationship ... # Stop GBV#Fighting." Tendai Chimombe, "GBV will not stop if you don't report. Mwana asingacheme anofira mumbereko!!!" D-Blok Keislim,"You are not alone. We are here standing with and for you." Nasibo, "Ngatizive kwekuno mhan'ara kana tambunyikidzwa kodzero dzedu mudzimba mumabasa nemunharaunda matinenge tiri.#No to gender based violence. Lady Vee, "When angry with your

spouse take a time to cool off, take a walk and calm down and discuss the issue later. Do not avoid the issue and think it will solve itself, find the appropriate time or the appropriate third person to discuss the issue with." Leoba Sibanda, "Strength doesn't come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't...Talk things through there is no need to fight." Caychi, "Violence against women and girls (VAWG), violence against LGBTI people, intimate partner violence (IPV), Domestic violence( DV), Sexual Violence( SV) Indirect structural violence. We must stop GBV men and boys may also be victims of GBV. Listen with compassion and do not judge!" Brity Yonly, "dear Women ,never forget that walking away from something unhealthy is brave even if you stumble a little on your way out." Fungai TB Chinogaramombe "We are all human,we coexist and depend on each other .Gender based violence destroys the beautiful harmony of mankind. Let's stop it today."

Ratidzo Wekare. "Greatness doesn't come from fighting. When you become violent it means you have stopped reasoning which you will think of when you have destroyed your loved ones. Don't answer back or take action when you are angry, seek understanding and solve matters peacefully." Joy Nyikadzino, "GBV has become an everyday concern in our communities. One characteristic of gender-based violence is that it knows no social or economic boundaries and affects women and girls of all socio-economic backgrounds: this issue needs to be addressed in both developing and developed countries. To those who have
been victims or those with relatives or close ones who have been through the effects of GBV, we want them to know that we are with them and we say no to violence and also they should stand up for themselves and start afresh. Together we can beat this and rise!!" Rudo R Makaya, "Listen. One of the primary things a survivor of violence needs is for you to just sit and listen sincerely. Listen without judging and listen without fixating over what you are going to say next. The reason why most people bottle in stuff or decide to suffer in silence is because they are afraid of being judged. So if the victim gives you certain boundaries it’s important to respect them." MamoeVee, "Yes I am a girl but I have

brains too, yes I’m a woman but I feel the pain too, when I cry please hear my cry ,when i speak please hear me too. Let’s make the world a better place for everyone. Bongani, "us women should stand up fo each other and fight, we should work as one being a woman doesnt mean we should be abused and bullied. I SALUTE EVERY SURVIVOR OF GBV DONT BE AFRAID TO SPEAK OUT." Anonymous, "It is ok to leave, it is ok to tell someone, never die inside and suffer on your own. If you are being abused speak out you are not alone."
Kidznet Corner My Neighbours Compiled by Ryan Muzamhindo. “Drop me at the Golden house, the old lady seated next to me shouted, and her voice woke me from daydreaming. The golden house was also my bus stop, I followed the old lady out as she got off the combi. The Golden house as everyone in the neighborhood preferred to call it, was the biggest house in my hometown , Chitungwiza. The house is beautiful for sure but the people who reside in this house were very mean and too proud of themselves. They felt like Kings and Queens and they treated workers and people in the neighborhood like slaves. These are the Mutanda family. They own an inherited fortune from their grand parents. The Mutanda family thought money was everything and felt that they didn’t need anyone as money could buy them anything they wanted .
But that did not last for long . When the head of their family Mr Mutanda and his 2 sons died in a fatal accident. The wife and her 2 daughters felt so lost and miserable. We all felt pity for and offered them physically , mentally and emotionally support. They felt so embarrassed that the same people they considered as useless, unworthy and low class could still help them in their crisis. From that day they learnt that neighbors are the closest relatives anyone can have and that in a neighborhood we should work together like a spam of oxen ploughing land for farming . Their behavior changed, and became kind, caring and generous. The Mutanda family now give people water from their borehole and give clothes and food to the poor and to neighbors . And from that experience we all became a patched up neighborhood like a herd of cattle .

What is the difference between passion and career? Should your passion be your career? "Follow your passion" has become a defining piece of career advice. The idea is that the key to finding a great career is to identify your greatest interest (your passion) and pursue a career involving that interest. It's an attractive message just to commit to following your passion, and you will have a great career.
Nesta Bway who had to leave everything behind (his passion and family to look for greener pastures). Chris recently released Chelete (money) a song that is now liked and played by many Zimbabweans in the Diaspora.

However there are a certain type of people who have no concern for money and what it can do for them. They find no pleasure in luxuries such as expensive watches, fine clothes and a big house. Their only aim in life is to follow their passion and create things even if it means to live from hand- tomouth. And on the other end, there are people who have no passion in life but to chase money. Tell us a bit about yourself?
My name is Christopher White, I was born in a family of two, on the 10th of November 1986 in Harare at Parirenyatwa Hospital. I was always a humble, respectful boy growing up. I went to Courtney Selous Primary and Oriel Boys High School respectively. I used to love football the most growing up having been born in a football family but injuries slowed down my soccer career. What inspired you to record this song Chelete? It's a long story but will cut it short. As you all know, some of our fathers, brothers, sisters, mothers have left their beloved families in search of greener pastures in other foreign countries (Diaspora) due to our country's economic situation in search of money to feed their families. I for one am in the same situation, I left Zimbabwe for South Africa in search for a job, and i mean any type of job, just to make a living. At one time back in Zimbabwe I was financially stable, had a good paying job and lived an admirable life, but one day my world came crumbling down on me when the company I worked for suddenly shut down. My life changed from the months that followed, life became unbearable, I could not afford to pay rent, pay bills and feed my family. One of my uncles called me to South Africa to look for a job after one of my cousins told him about the bad state I and my family were in. I sold nearly everything that I had to buy a bus ticket, and gave my wife the remaining dollars to look after our children whilst I was gone. I left for Pretoria SA, and during the first months things were really tough, to be precise jobs were difficult to find, and at one time I thought of returning back home but then I remembered that I had sold everything I had and my family was looking up to me. I had no choice but to keep hustling and hunting for jobs. One of my brother in-laws encouraged me to go to Durban to try my luck there. I got to Durban and met guys who were into construction and they offered me a job as a brick boy and manual cement mixer. It was a very tough job I tell you. The only thing that motivated me to keep going was the vision I had of owning and
running my own company in the years to come. I then went into tree cutting after a year or so just to make ends meet. Being a strong believer I knew God will answer my prayers one day and this kept me going. One day I received a phone call from an IT company to come for an interview. I went and passed the interview and got a job right away. That is when my life started changing and making sense. I worked for the IT company for two years and had saved up enough money to start up my own Computer shop CTECH COMPUTERS IT. It has always been the career I had always wanted to pursue. My company is now doing well in the suburbs of Bluff Durban. So 'Chelete' was composed to motivate and inspire people who are in the process of building their career, who are jobless in foreign lands and who are going through hardships abroad trying to fend for their families to keep looking ahead and keep hustling as one day God will make a way for them, just like he did for me , he can do for you. Our God is an awesome God.

My name is Trish Degwa aka trixiedee. Born and raised in Kwekwe in a family of four. I’m a Film, Radio and Television Production student at the University of Zimbabwe. Learning at UZ marked my first ever experience with the camera. I love making people happy. I believe that people feed off from the energy we give. Therefore, I try my best to be in the best mood possible. Your happiness is my happiness. I’m a very energetic person. Sometimes I ask myself where I get the energy from, but then I remember that I’ve seen my father work so hard all his life to the extent that I learnt from it. I believe that life is not a destination, it is a way of life. Life is what you make it. I started acting in 2018 after my University application at the University of Zimbabwe was accepted, that’s when I started my journey in the film industry. A nerve wrecking experience that made me fall in love with the camera. The First film I featured in was Husband Matters, a short film by Innocent Mwapangira. When it comes to other talents, I just have to mention, I was the best mid fielder (WA) in netball looking back to 2014, they used to call me the Sparrow. My voice can also do wonders, simply put, I can sing. Another one of my talents is modelling, both runway and commercial modelling. “What can I say, I love fashion and looking good”, she giggles An outstanding project I have done was acting in a short film, Chipo Rugare, by Kudzaishe Gwasera. This short film showcased how people living with disabilities go through life from a different angle. This was an eye opening experience. What I can tell you is that life is a continuous rotating wheel. Where you are now is not where you’ll always be, things change. *The question is, will you let it change for the better or for the worst?.
