like lure som barn. I alle fall nesten.
Everyone in Crow’s Nest Kindergarden is ready for a yellow theme-party. Before the party can start the children have to go Easter Egg hunting for an egg that Elin and Sven have hidden in a very clever place. It’s very hard for Leon and Livia, Crow’s Nest’s own detectives, to track down the egg. There are rhymed hints and lots of tricks involved because sometimes adults can be just as clever as children. Almost as clever, anyway.

The story
by Tor Fretheim and Øyvind Torseter (ill.)
A clever picture book on the creation of a story and how difficult it can be to capture it on paper, about how it originates as an idea in the author’s mind and becomes a finished story that eventually belongs to the reader. We meet a writer who is fed up with sitting alone in front of a blank sheet of paper and who goes out on the street hunting for inspiration and an adventure. People soon start following him, excited to see if he will find his story. Tor Fretheim (1946–2018) wrote mostly for children and young adults, his books have been translated into several languages. His breakthrough was The angels stop at the fairy tale bridge, for which he received the Norwegian Critics’ Award. Lost
by Rune Johan Andersson
NORLA selected title 2019
In this slightly eerie picture book Lost, Rune Johan Andersson shows us the world from a child’s perspective. Where are mum and dad? Where am I? The book is a story about getting lost in the woods and being found again. Perhaps it wasn’t so frightening in the woods after all?

Anderssons expressive and original illustrations reinforces and gives the book meaning and provides a completely unique style. This is an innovative and rich book where the illustrations carry most of the meaning. Lost is a slightly unnerving picture book about getting lost, but also about finding one’s way home.
