Coaching Communication using IKEBANA art
-
IKEBANA, represents the most representative embodiment of the cult of beauty in the Japanese spiritual universe; -- IKEBANA has become an art of the aesthetic sense of the Japanese;
-
- the floral elements are placed in a vase with the intention of transposing them into a new life.
The arrangement of flowers is an expression of vitality, of the uninterrupted competition between life and death. When arranging flowers, follow some specific and necessary rules such as: imperfect shape, irregularity, simple appearance, poor, but at the same time delicate and fragile. -appeared in the 6th century and were first used to decorate Buddhist temples in Japan; -- these arrangements enjoyed the same respect as Buddha.
-
According to a certain aesthetic conception, the arrangement should not copy nature, but correct it.
-
-They are used: stems, leafless branches, leaves with a special contour;
-- Asymmetry is absolutely necessary for an Ikebana arrangement to be attractive;
-
-The connection between man and nature is represented by three lines, which symbolize heaven, man and earth and which seem to start from the same place:
- the most important is the highest branch, which signifies the sky.
- the second most important is the middle branch that symbolizes man; it must be placed obliquely in the vessel, and its length must cover three-quarters of the first branch.
- the third line is the shortest and should be placed in front of the arrangement, symbolizing the ground.
The symbols of the passage of time are of great importance in Ikebana. The past is symbolized by flowering plants and dried leaves; The present is symbolized by half-open flowers and green leaves; The future is symbolized by flower buds; In spring and summer the arrangement is rich, in winter it will be poorer and duller.
