Following Governor Bill Lee’s appointment, Robert Nash was recently sworn in as District Attorney General for the 19th Judicial District surrounded by family, friends and colleagues. Nash will fill the vacancy left by former District Attorney General John W. Carney, Jr. who retired at the end of August.

After his swearing in, Nash recognized several people including retired District Attorney General Carney, Helen Young who served as District Attorney in the interim, his colleagues in the District Attorney’s Office, as well as local, state and national representatives and elected officials. He also thanked his wife Misty and her family for their unwavering support. Nash is currently running for re-election in the August 2022 election where he is committed to continue to provide experienced and passionate leadership for all the citizens of Montgomery and Robertson counties.
